In times like these, even a cheezburger can be a nice reminder that no matter how dark it gets, we're all in this together- that even with everything going on, we at least can go out and get a bagful of beefy, cheesy goodness. So off we went to McDonalds today, to get ourselves a little emotional pick-me-up (and to take advantage of some of the coupons on the app). I mean, let's face it- you can cook at home, but sometimes you need a little emotional love from some fast food, because it just takes you back mentally, you know? Some people say that no matter where you are in the world, McDonald's food will always taste the same no matter what- but you know what? It reminds me of my childhood, and with all the bad news, sometimes I like to go back to thinking of the days I got Happy Meals with a toy and realized no matter what that everything was going to be all right. I will add in one caveat to this McDonalds, though- before you pull away, check your bags to make sure you got everything you ordered. We've been past this location a few times and somehow something always seemed to be forgotten in our order- hamburgers, Quarter Pounders, ten piece nuggets, fries- I really wish they'd at least look in the bag before they hand it over, because it's a pain in the behind to have to sit there with whoever is out there handing us the stuff because we won't leave until we get what we ordered, and it's happened enough times that maybe the manager ought to say something about it. But still, at the end of the day, this is still McDonalds, and I'm looking forward to trying some of the new menu hack burgers they're pushing now- I've heard of the Land, Sea, and Air, but I never, ever thought of trying one... read more

Another disappointing wait time. 18 mins of waiting. Placed order online. Line look long in the drive through so we decided to do counter pickup. There were a dozen or so people who did the same thing thinking it might be faster. Nope. Both moved at a snails pace. Mind you it is 9:30-10 am on a Thursday. I have been here all hours of the day and it is always the same story. We ask ourselves will this time be different. Never is. I think it would have been faster to drive 10 mins to the one on w main and 9th and then to our destination then waiting on food from here. So sad that this is an ongoing issue that has been like this for years. I warn you that if you decide to get food prepare for a wait. McDonald's was built on speed and cost. What a dirty...filthy....store. The bathrooms were beyond disgusting, I stopped my husband from ordering food. If the bathrooms are gross...so is the kitchen. It took forever to place an order (inside). It took forever to get our order. The chicken sandwich was terrible and had no lettuce on it. The fries were overcooked and the pop had been sitting so long the ice was melted. The big Mac sucked and the fries overcooked. The pop also had sat so long the ice was melted. We asked the guy that brought our order for condiments because the bins were empty that held them to help yourself. We would still be waiting had my husband gone to get some. He waited & waited and waited and finally he asked a woman who was walking by with trays for some. Don't pull away without making sure everything in your order is correct. They can't ever seem to get it right. We ordered 2 bacon quarter pounders with no onions and got no bacon and lots of onions on both sandwiches. Ordered 2 holiday pies and got apple (same order). Seriously for $13-14/hour at least get the orders right! Last time we got breakfast and ordered a bacon,egg, and cheese bagel with extra bacon (which I paid way to much for) and got some nasty thick hamburger patty on my bagel and NO bacon. Customer service is gone at this location. My family waited for almost 5 minutes before someone came to take our order. No one else was in front of us. Then they informed us no breakfast burritos. This location really deserves no stars. My wife made an online order and it took over 40 min to get our food. She had to go in and they still weren't ready. Then she gets home and both our 10 piece nuggets had 5 nuggets each...5! Our fries were ice cold no sauce for them just the whole order was messed up. Service and speed at this McDonalds is the worst I've ever experienced. They also regularly have issues getting orders correct.

I ordered my food online. Not only did they leave my food sitting out all my food was very cold and stale. Then they proceeded to make me wait damn near 10 mins just for two large cups for drinks I am capable of getting my self. This location has incompetent management and the rest of the staff needs to be retrained. Being used to working in food management I would be highly highly disappointed. I sat inside for 45 minutes waiting on one sandwich and a drink which I think is outrageously long for a fast food restaurant.

We made a quick stop here on a road trip through the area for drinks and restrooms. We ordered a large coffee and a large soft drink; we normally just order one or the other and share but this time we had a difference of opinion about whether we wanted hot or cold drinks so we got one each. The restrooms were generally clean which we always appreciate. They were not too busy when we stopped so I was able to place my order immediately. As it was a drinks only order it was ready quickly and we sat and enjoyed them as we rested from several hours on the road with a couple more to go. The staff here were smiling and friendly as they took the order and then delivered it. This location is immediately off the interstate so it is very convenient for a quick stop like ours. read more

This is the WORST McD's I've ever been to. We waited over 20 min for our food. This is the new business model with kiosks, that you had to use because no one would take your order. Terrible And worst experience here. Waited for food for over 25 minutes in the dining area only to find out they gave our food to someone else. How can they do that when my receipt and my plastic table placard have the same number as the order?? Went to get refund and the manager shorted me $2. I had to go back to get the correct amount. The manager then defended the worker vs. apologizing. Making me new food and not apologizing is unacceptable! I didn't take the food and I don't want a "free meal" card. I called the head manager Kraig the next day and he never called me back. This location should get a zero! They don't care and just go through motions. Will never stop here again. On a road trip, so breakfast at McDonalds. Apparently some changes are coming to the way ordering your food will take place here--from what the staff told us, they are eliminating the counter help and switching to a totally automated system. Ordering will soon take place at the kiosk exclusively. Currently, the kiosk only takes cards. We were told that cash will be accepted in the future. No changes to the breakfast food, but I'm hoping we go to McD's for lunch because those bacon cheese fries are awesome. read more

We visit Paw Paw McDonald's probably 2-3 times a week. My husband on the way to work, me on the way to work and at least 1 time during lunch a week. No mistakes with our orders. The drive thru can be a little backed up once in awhile, but that means they like Mickey D's as much as we do. Consistency, you know what to expect.
