Long wait for average food. The grease they fried the chicken in tasted old. The people were slow and unfriendly. I get they aren't making big money but at least smile and focus on your job and clean the tables, refill the ketchup and take care of things. Ottawa, Ks: At the drive thru, we wanted a combo with a Sprite, and an order of chili. The order taker cut us off before we could ask for the chili. We had to get her to come back to finish the order. When we got the Sprite it was tinged pink. "Oh, that is just how it comes." My thought what what in the machine is leaking. We started to leave. I discovered no spoon for the chili so we had to go back and get in line. There were no crackers or napkins either. I went thru the drive thru- Ordered a Number one - cheeseburger, fries and drink- Got my food and drove home - Got my food out of the sack at home and began to eat it,. The fries were OK. However when I bet into the cheeseburger- found that it was raw in the middle. Raw hamburger is not good. Called them and reported it and told them they need to fire their cook or teach them how to cook. I will not order a hamburger of any kind from them again. And I suggest that you don't either unless you like raw meat. read more

So sad to give such a terrible review. I would comment on the food but I didn't receive any. I was there last Thursday around 6 pm when I pull up to the drive through. Two cars ahead of me got out of line and drove off. I was about to find out why. The young lady on the speaker was distraught over how management staffed her store. She said she was u able to take any orders and apologized. All new people with little training and no manager. Shame on the management/ownership of this store. Treating people by right giving them the resources to do great work is a basic ingredient to success. I can easily choose DQ or Freddies next time. read more

I just left Wendy's in Ottawa, KS, where I had a terrible lunch. MY spicy chicken sandwich had so much gristle I could not bite through it and my l replacement sandwich was made incorrectly. The manager never even implied she was sorry for the problem. Not only that, the lower section where we ate was dirty. Atmosphere is good, but the fries are never crisp and hot..food temp poor. Hard to find anyone at order taking counter and you can hear employees in back clowning around. Average..just meh. I have enjoyed eating food from Wendy's in the past, and after the very poor quality of food I got from the burger king across the street I wanted to eat here instead. I had a little bit of a wait to get my order taken because they were understaffed. The food came out quickly and was nice and fresh. I don't usually get something to drink, but I got a large unsweet tea and it was all good. Since I will be back in Ottawa again, I will probably get food from here as I will not be returning to the burger king across the street again. read more

Very poor experience each time I visit this location (only one in Ottawa,ks). I have never had a good customer service experience. I only returned because the foodwas good. However, today l went and not only was the service horrible, much worse than normal, the food was awful! The frosty was warm, liquid, and tasted like old milk. The frys tasted stale, did not have any salt, and lacked all flavor. The chili was thin and lacked flavor, only the seasoning saved it. Again I want add how disappointed I was in the Service. No one seemed to care or even say hello or anything beside give me my order #! Last, I will not be returning to this resturant due to the number of negative experiences l have had at this location. I strongly recommend some huge changes including new staff and manager. l may return if some major overhauling takes place. l know many people who have had similar experiences. read more

One of the better places to eat in Ottawa. The food is usually good quality and almost always served nice and hot.

Can't beat the burgers here. Out of all the fast food places in town, this has always been my favorite.
