The wings were small but very meaty, and crispy yet with lots of sauce. Not enough to drip off or overwhelm things. I got the spicy bourbon BBQ, which has a touch of heat and tons of flavor. Very, very good wings, worth a detour. Good service, good prices, big portions. Canned drinks. Cash only, so plan ahead. Not really a family place, despite the Leinenkugel "family bucket night" signs, but you could bring the kids during the day. Good as a dive bar, good as a small town restaurant, and good wings. They have an extremely thorough and easy-to-navigate website when it comes to allergies and preferences. In about 2 minutes I was able to easily identify what I could eat and what I couldn't. The "could" list was much longer than I expected! But then something huge happened. It was like a light shined down from above and the angels sang: there was a gluten-free bun on the menu! I thought -- surely this can't be true. It must be for bigger cities or test markets... NO! They, indeed, did offer a gf bun! And it was a darn good one at that! There's something too about the plating, I never think about plating other than when I go here, somehow the food just looks terrible on their cheap white plates.
