When I walked in one of the employees was talking to a guy that had a bad experience the night before and was getting a refund because of HORRIBLE SEVICE. A group of 5 of us stopped at this location on a long road trip in hopes of FAST" lunch to eat on the road. It was far from FAST, the customer service was the worst part... we waited at the register where no one said anything to us letting us know they would be with us nor was anyone else waiting. My double stack burger was missing from my biggie bag, so when I pointed it out the cashier, she looked at me dumbfounded like I was speaking another language. This used to be my go to Wendy's. I don't know what happened, but it went from 5 stars to a1 star lately. Repeatedly, things are not working, they can't get you a receipt, no Frosty flavors available, they can't scan your app. and on and on. They can't even give correct change. My change was . 81 cents , I got 8 dimes and a penny. These kids can't make change. It's pathetic. And it's every time. Now, the last time I got a Frosty, it wasn't frozen. It was a sloppy mess. I put it in the freezer at home, and you know it doesn't come out the same. Burgers are cold, fries are soggy. And they throw the bag at you like "get out of my face". I went through the drive-thru at about 8:15-8:30pm-ish tonight in the Macedonia Wendy's, and the girl who was taking orders had the absolute worst attitude. Each time I had more to add to my order, she would interject and interrupt: "ANYTHING ELSE?" Nothing was showing up on the menu screen, but it was still lit, so I think she was away from the register and going to ring up my order at all once before I pulled around to pay. After I was done ordering and after her last "Anything else?", I said yes, "What's my total?" Her response: "Pull around, and you'll find out." I replied: "I don't think so." What a lousy Wendy's! I got there at 6:30 PM install a large line in the drive-through, so I went inside to eat, as I didn't want to eat in the car anyway. Upon going up to the counter, I was told that the dining room is closed. Henceforth making me get in the line which I saw wasn't moving anyway. Sorry, but there was no reason why they had to close the inside and make everybody go through the drive-through and rather than waiting in line for another half an hour. one word...horrible. Horrible, Horrible, Horrible. This wendy's lacks and i mean LACKS proper customer service. There were two signs that said "one dollar any size soft drinks." With that being said, i ordered three large Dr. Peppers for my kids and a 10 piece, $6 nugget. After the completion of my order, the total was $15 dollars...doesn't seem right. So when i pulled up to the window i politely asked why it was $15 if the pop was $1 and the worker replied with, "oh it ended today." Again, keeping my tone polite i had suggested they took the sign down so they didn't get more complaints about it. But apparently she was a little too cranky to keep her cool because she replied with "well we are short staffed so unless you want to go take them down..." and shut the window. Absolutely unacceptable. So you know what i did??? I took the signs that she told me to take down myself, as a paying customer, put them in the back seat, and drove off. DO NOT COME. There is a sign for a peppermint frosty outside so I ask for one. They don't have it so they give me a vanilla one instead. The frosty was already melted. I ordered a burger with no mayo and ketchup. There was mayo and ketchup on the burger and under the lettuce was a hair. Most Wendy's are good but this one was TERRIBLE. Employees are downright rude. They don't greet you at all when it's your turn to order. You approach the register and they just stare at you. When you pay, they don't say thank you. When you pick up your food they don't say thank you. I guess there's just no training of these young people by the manager and I'm expecting too much. I hate being treated like this and it's really too bad no one at this location seems to care. Pizza Hut and Steak 'n Shake right across the street have both closed.
