I've never actually been inside though I have to travel to Ft Leavenworth (Army / Work), every single quarter and my stay is always 7 days. This particular Wendys is on the same street that takes me from Ft Leavenworth to hotel. So, when staying for 7 days, you end up eating here once per trip... and especially if leaving base later in the evening and not wanting to do anything other than grab something and bring it back to hotel. From customer service, management, speed of service, lack of hospitality I wish I could give less than one star. The staff there is very rude and lack communication skills and timely service. When they do communicate errors it is done in a very distasteful manor. There is a lady with a deeper voice who does drive thru who lacks hospitality and is not a pleasant person to greet people. When a problem arose with a mobile order, the lady with the deeper voice simply said "we can't do it" and got combative and rude. Very unprofessional. Mannnn. Leavenworth is like a cesspool of incompetence. I leave Taco Bell because they are miserably incompetent, come to Wendy's, and the only good thing they have going for them was the register clerk (very pleasant person). I ordered my food (#6, no veg add cheese), get to my car and have to turn around because it's all veg no cheese (not a massive issue, just inconvenient). They give me a new sandwich and there's still no cheese (come on dude). Then the manager or someone in the background says "you gotta pay extra for cheese that's why it's not there". WTF. Went here for lunch, 1st they quit serving the orange frosty and still have the sign up, no big deal, 2nd I asked for sweetener for my tea the girl did not know what sweetener was and tried to give me sugar, I told her not sugar and she tried to give me coffee creamer, I finally got the right stuff. 3rd I asked for ketchup and was told they were out. I was a regular here until the manager Della messed up my online order and then argued with me about how orders show up on their screen. It's funny everyone else that made my online orders can read the screen clearly and have never messed up. Taking my money elsewhere. This is, without a doubt, the worst fast food restaurant anywhere. Wanted a salad. Love Wendy's salads. Pulled in. A bit of a line, not bad. Had to repeat my order three times to the child at the drive through. Got to the window, paid, he lets my change go flying out the window and then says "your five is back there." Really? The lady behind me in the drive through lane got out of her car and chased down my 5 dollar bill. The line isn't moving at all so pretty so the same child is yelling ma'am, ma'am and wants to hand me my order through the payment window which I am already half a car length past. I get out of my car and walk back to the window to get my salad and my drink. I am wedged between the car in front of me and the car behind me with no way to move and pretty soon I hear ma'am, ma'am, yelled at me again. "We were trying to get the line moving is why we gave you your order through this window." Food was not good and was not fresh when received. Man in the drive thru did not have gloves on but was handling money then had his hands all in my fry box instead of picking it up from the side. If I could give this location a lower than one star rating I would. The customer service is worse than unprofessional. From placing the order to getting our food it was an absolutely disgusting quick family meal. While I did not experience the ordering process, when our order was ready, if they called our name, you couldn't hear it. It was also not spelled properly on our receipt so even if they did call it out. It would have sounded nothing like our name. The cashier came out waving her arms, comments were made about us not wanting our food and they involved ALL of the customers in the lobby who proceeded to make comments. I have been to this Wendy's hundreds of times and never has my experience been so horrific that I actually got sick to my stomach. I ordered the 4 for 4 with the grilled Chicken Go Wrap. It was the same thing I got last time. Last time, it was wonderful, but this time, I found that there was some blood in the chicken. Not human blood, but blood from the chicken, as if there had been blood in there when they cooked it. Went sent it back and the manager, who was polite and sweet about the entire situation, and I was made a fresh one. However, this one had the exact same issue. I got a grilled chicken to go wrap w/o the cheese or the honey mustard. There was not more than 2 ounces of meat in the tortilla and the meat only filled half the tortilla. The meat was stringy. They threw on three sprigs of lettuce. This was horrible. Need quality control. I realize it was 2 o'clock but it could have been done better. Good food which is the only redeeming quality because the wait in line is totally absurd. I, once again craved a Wendy's burger and tolerated a 20 minute wait to PLACE my order. (There were 3 people in line in front of me!) This outfit had 1 person taking orders and he would take the order and wait until it was cooked and delivered before taking the next order. I order the same thing every time, #6 spicy with cheese on a pretzel bun, and five times out of six they fook it up.
