Don't let the 3 stars fool ya - there's nothing wrong with this Wendy's. I've never actually been inside though I have to travel to Ft Leavenworth (Army / Work), every single quarter and my stay is always 7 days. This particular Wendys is on the same street that takes me from Ft Leavenworth to hotel. So, when staying for 7 days, you end up eating here once per trip... and especially if leaving base later in the evening and not wanting to do anything other than grab something and bring it back to hotel. This Wendy's is like all the rest - which isn't a knock! That's totally fine. Spicy Chicken No Lettuce No Tomato ADD CHEESE Biggie Fries 6-Piece Spicy Nuggets Junior Chocolate Frosty Diet Dr Pepper From LA - Leavenworth Kansas, from New York to West Texas... same order, every time. read more

From customer service, management, speed of service, lack of hospitality I wish I could give less than one star. The staff there is very rude and lack communication skills and timely service. When they do communicate errors it is done in a very distasteful manor. There is a lady with a deeper voice who does drive thru who lacks hospitality and is not a pleasant person to greet people. When a problem arose with a mobile order, the lady with the deeper voice simply said "we can't do it" and got combative and rude. Very unprofessional. Again, if I could give less than one star, I would. read more

Mannnn. Leavenworth is like a cesspool of incompetence. I leave Taco Bell because they are miserably incompetent, come to Wendy's, and the only good thing they have going for them was the register clerk (very pleasant person). I ordered my food (#6, no veg add cheese), get to my car and have to turn around because it's all veg no cheese (not a massive issue, just inconvenient). They give me a new sandwich and there's still no cheese (come on dude). Then the manager or someone in the background says "you gotta pay extra for cheese that's why it's not there". WTF. Receipt clearly says add cheese and I payed the extra. You got it wrong twice lady, don't put this on me. Not sure if COVID ruined this town or what, but it's definitely a miserable place to be for fast food. read more

I wish I could leave zero stars, My husband and i waited in drive thru for 15 minutes, get to the window and what I ordered was going to take a extra 10 minutes, she tried convincing me to order a spicy or grilled sandwich that was ready. Completely understand however I wanted what I order. I said can I just cancel my order she begins to hand the money back talking shit on us and rolling her eyes. Super disrespectful and 10/10 DO Not recommend read more

Went here for lunch, 1st they quit serving the orange frosty and still have the sign up, no big deal, 2nd I asked for sweetener for my tea the girl did not know what sweetener was and tried to give me sugar, I told her not sugar and she tried to give me coffee creamer, I finally got the right stuff. 3rd I asked for ketchup and was told they were out. Really how do you run out of ketchup at Wendy's. The food was cold, not very many fries at all. This is the second bad experience in a week. I will think long and hard before I go back there again. I am from Leavenworth I don't know why Yelp says I am from San Francisco read more

I was a regular here until the manager Della messed up my online order and then argued with me about how orders show up on their screen. It's funny everyone else that made my online orders can read the screen clearly and have never messed up. Taking my money elsewhere. If this is how they treat customers, I can only imagine how they treat their employees. I guess since she claimed to be with the company for 16 years she was moved to this location from elsewhere. You should send her back!!!! read more

This is, without a doubt, the worst fast food restaurant anywhere. Wanted a salad. Love Wendy's salads. Pulled in. A bit of a line, not bad. Had to repeat my order three times to the child at the drive through. Got to the window, paid, he lets my change go flying out the window and then says "your five is back there." Really? The lady behind me in the drive through lane got out of her car and chased down my 5 dollar bill. The line isn't moving at all so pretty so the same child is yelling ma'am, ma'am and wants to hand me my order through the payment window which I am already half a car length past. I get out of my car and walk back to the window to get my salad and my drink. I am wedged between the car in front of me and the car behind me with no way to move and pretty soon I hear ma'am, ma'am, yelled at me again. "We were trying to get the line moving is why we gave you your order through this window." I said "trust me, if there was anyway for me to get out of this line I sure as hell would and you can bet I won't ever get in it again. He looked at me like I was crazy. Hover abilities would have been great about this time. Pathetic! Wish there was a no star rating available because that is what this experience was worth! read more

So I live about a 10 min drive away from Wendy's. And I go and order wanting a spicy sandwich and get all the way home to find that they messed up my order and gave me a cold and old chicken sandwich that I didn't order. Why would you serve a sandwich that looks like this to anyone? read more

Wendy's - a chicken sandwich with cheese and tomato - Burgers Near Me - Leavenworth, Kansas

Food was not good and was not fresh when received. Man in the drive thru did not have gloves on but was handling money then had his hands all in my fry box instead of picking it up from the side. The person handling money shouldn't be handling food anyways but apparently that's not how this Wendy's is set up. This is officially the worst Wendy's I've been to in all my years of living. Today was the first time I've been back in a long time and I've decided to give them another chance but they will never get it together. Every experience I have had here is bad. Will not be returning again. read more

If I could give this location a lower than one star rating I would. The customer service is worse than unprofessional. From placing the order to getting our food it was an absolutely disgusting quick family meal. While I did not experience the ordering process, when our order was ready, if they called our name, you couldn't hear it. It was also not spelled properly on our receipt so even if they did call it out. It would have sounded nothing like our name. The cashier came out waving her arms, comments were made about us not wanting our food and they involved ALL of the customers in the lobby who proceeded to make comments. The other woman at the counter proceeded to make comments under her breath while we were getting our trays of food. read more

Would give 0 stars if I could. Picking up a doordash order is near impossible at this location with the inside being closed. Waited 45 minutes in line to get 2 items. Avoid at all costs. read more

The customer service there is ridiculous the lady with the golds in her mouth with a curly synthetic wig is rude for no reason. I called up there to speak with a manager her name was Monica they messed up on the order she literally rushed me off the phone and wasn't even trying to hear what I had to say but said she was going to remake it or give me a refund I came back through the drive-through respectfully just trying to get my food remade even with my receipt and she told me that she couldn't do anything for me and that she basically never spoke with me and couldn't help me with my issue and she just rudely told me to get out of her line and close the window in my face. Never again this Business is ridiculous! read more

Wrong sandwich given. When i called the female on the phone must have been a Karen. She barely listened to me answered phone then told me to hold as she spoke to someone in the background. Fastest fast food in town! The other fast food restaurants should take lesson from Wendy's Drive thru folks. They are on it!

Went through drive thru. As she is told she tries to sell me the popular burger, I decline. Say my order, she gets it right the first time so we are moving along to the first window. She is ready for me and alert not busy talking to anyone or distracted. Good sign I pay moving on to second window. I don't get a word out and my things are coming out the window ready!! Fries are hot and delicious, frosties are yummy. Fast and easy drive through service. Well there was not a long line this time. I will be coming back read more

I have been to this Wendy's hundreds of times and never has my experience been so horrific that I actually got sick to my stomach. I ordered the 4 for 4 with the grilled Chicken Go Wrap. It was the same thing I got last time. Last time, it was wonderful, but this time, I found that there was some blood in the chicken. Not human blood, but blood from the chicken, as if there had been blood in there when they cooked it. Went sent it back and the manager, who was polite and sweet about the entire situation, and I was made a fresh one. However, this one had the exact same issue. I ate through it and at the end, there was blood in it. It made me nauseous and I just lost my appetite. I couldn't even finish my food. read more

The staff here have absolutely no motivation and it's shows. They sit at the window and don't say a word not even to tell you to pull up to the next window. I didn't even get my receipt after sitting there awkwardly for a minute. They messed up my order and the sad excuse they sold as fries was disgusting. I've worked at Wendy's I know personally it's not that hard to swap old fries and salt the new ones. If I could rate this place 0 stars I would. Please visit the McDonald's across the street thank you. read more

Had an ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE experience at this Wendy's usually they are pretty good but today I bought lunch for my mom, brother and myself and we had the 5 dollar biggie bags the only thing and I mean ONLY thing good was the chicken nuggets. This place is gross. From the employees to the food. The lady at the window taking my money didn't say one word but had had a crap look on her face. I didn't ask you to work at Wendy's. However, I never eat fast food so I guess this is what you get? Anyways, after the lack of customer service I went to the next window and the guy handed me food and drink but his nails were so dirty and disgusting I was tempted to throw the food out. You don't have nails like that if you wash your hands. The employees weren't wearing masks at all. Like what is Wendy's doing to prevent the spread of covid-19? Or what are they doing to prevent any spread of disease and illness if their employees look like they haven't bathed in a week? The food was gross and pretty much what I expect from fast food. I will not go back. read more

definitely rude service, and they messed up my whole order, didn't even put the correct toppings on my sandwich & gave me burnt fries.

I literally made a Yelp account so I could review this Wendy's. I've been here maybe a dozen times now and I have to say, my God. Praise Jesus hallelujah. First off, the service is spectacular. Never have I seen such friendly, competent, and caring individuals working for a fast food chain. Like seriously whoever is hiring all these people needs to be promoted a good couple times and put in charge of a lot more. Like if the green berets took over a food chain, this would be it. This Wendy's is a gem which we don't deserve. Move to Dubai. Serve your delicious steamy meals to kings! What you do here is art not food. It's culinary innovation coupled with Michelin star service! I'll sum my experience up like this (which is true of every time I've visited this location). I pull up to the drive through and before I've even moved to put on the brake there's someone talking on the other side. How many times have you pulled up to a fast food joint and sat there for two minutes like um is this thing on? Hello? I'd like a burger please! Not once here. Like good look getting a look at the menu before you get some recommendations. You better park over at Walmart and bring your binoculars cause if you're within 50 feet of this thing they know. Again, these people taking my order know their freaking business. I feel like I'm ordering car parts from Ferrari himself - these people made their menu. No ummmms ok...hold on a second...sorry I entered it wrong! I say it once, it's a done deal. Take that shit to the bank. So I get done ordering - and take in mind this is no simple order, I like to throw some adds and minuses, combos, sides, frosties, and sauces in there - and I pull up to the first window to pay. Fortunately for me I came prepared. My wallet isn't in my back pocket, I put it up on the dash so I can grab my card as I make that turn in. AS IM DRIVING UP to the window it's already open and the hand is out there. Like passing the baton over to Usain Bolt idk if I can make it time before this thing is a done deal. Being the suave savant that I am I casually hand my card over and I shit you not, if I hadn't bothered to put my car in park and rolled through that window I for sure would've been able to get swiped in time. (Not to mention the cashier was cute) Hold your horses though. Pulling up to the second window is the make or break for any fast food place. Are you going to make me sit there? Pull over to lane one? I said diet Dr Pepper easy ice not lime Coke zero cal!! But no. AS I PULL UP TO THE WINDOW my food is getting handed to me. Like how!? How is this possible?!? I ordered this less than 30 seconds ago? Did you have this sitting there? Do you know who I am? How could you have done this?? You couldn't even microwave my food to get it warm enough it that time. I HAVNT EVEN HAD TIME TO PUT MY CARD AWAY!!! I've got you here though! MAYBE by some miracle of chance some person five minutes before me ordered this same exact meal and then mysteriously walked away from all this deliciousness, but I bet you forgot the ketchup and BBQ sauce! I bet there's no spoon for this frostie!! Ha! I'm gonna need a straw for this drink. But as I look into the bag and those wonderful umami fragrances float up into my nostrils, naught is to be accounted for. Had I myself walked into the store and prepared this bag of 2 thousand calories, it could not be more perfectly assembled. Like slipping a key into the lock first try, landing your hat on top of the coat rack without even looking, or having the perfect amount of change in your pocket, the world just felt right. If the stars had aligned to create a perfect fast food experience for me this would have been it. Never has a burger been more perfectly cooked. Gordon Ramsey ain't got shit on my perfectly sizzled baconator. I'd have to spend a night in the ice hotel to get a frostie so perfectly textured. I don't know who's responsible for such awesomeness. What wonderful God of creation decided to put a Wendys at that spot, in that moment of my life, but oh God did I need it. I hope one day that any other person might experience even a fraction of what I was able to. 5/5 would recommend. read more

I got a grilled chicken to go wrap w/o the cheese or the honey mustard. There was not more than 2 ounces of meat in the tortilla and the meat only filled half the tortilla. The meat was stringy. They threw on three sprigs of lettuce. This was horrible. Need quality control. I realize it was 2 o'clock but it could have been done better. The food was shoved toward me thru the window including the drink at the same time. Kind of awkward. I tried to complete a survey but there are too many web sites posing as the correct web site. read more

Good food which is the only redeeming quality because the wait in line is totally absurd. I, once again craved a Wendy's burger and tolerated a 20 minute wait to PLACE my order. (There were 3 people in line in front of me!) This outfit had 1 person taking orders and he would take the order and wait until it was cooked and delivered before taking the next order. This is obviously standard practice because this is the way it has always been when I have been there! Your only hope of reasonable service is for nobody to be in line when you get there! (This was a Friday evening @ 6:00. Dinner rush hour and 1 person on duty!) read more

I cannot believe this place. First, it doesn't look like there is anyone over the age of 12 in charge here. I order the same thing every time, #6 spicy with cheese on a pretzel bun, and five times out of six they fook it up. Seriously, I might as well just take eight dollars and light it on fire in front of them. Came in sunday afternoon, they had ten people deep in line, no one at the register, everyone spazzing out and unprofessional behind the counter, to-go bags flying everywhere, and nobody expressing any form of accountability. Drive thru was ten cars deep. Wonder if the owner knows how much these people are messing up his place read more
