Me and my friend went in here for a quick bite to eat between classes. We waited at the counter for 15 minutes waiting to order, and we weren't even talked to by the cashier. She didn't even tell us "I'll be right with you" or anything. She just kept walking past us. There was no urgency. I'm not someone who usually gets mad at having to wait, but it was pretty ridiculous. The ordering process was very slow. We both had separate orders. In between the two, she took the time to (slowly) unclog the receipt printer. It was just a very slow process that felt like we were wasting our time. read more

Got a biggie bag the other day. They forgot the patty on my burger, only gave me 3/4 nuggets and the wrong sauce. Fine. I call and ask if I can come by later to get my order replaced or a refund. They said sure, so I decided to stop by. They told me it would be a second before I could get what I needed, only for them to help other customers before me, and leave me waiting for 35 minutes. I ask what's going on, and they said it's gonna be a minute. What in the world? It HAS been a minute! I ended up leaving frustrated, as I didn't have time to sit around at a Wendy's all night. Incredibly oblivious, careless staff. As someone who has experience in food service, I do not understand why your last priority is the customer you completely screwed over. Don't waste your money ordering here because they will NEVER get it right! read more

Wendy's - Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger - Fast Food Near Me - Kent, Ohio

Location is "cash only" every night after 11pm. It's been this way since I moved to Kent two years ago. There's also a 20 minute wait for every car in line, regardless of the amount of food in the order. Is Wendy's this short-staffed? read more

Genuinely the worst Wendy's ever. The workers are incompetent. There's literally 8 or more workers in there and like 3 customers, including the drive-thru, and they screw every. Single. Order. Up. I placed an order for a $5 biggie bag, and they claimed that someone came in and took it for delivery when it was a pickup order. Then, they tried to blame me for it, despite my app clearly stating 'pickup'. They also then told me I could not get my food or a refund like... then I said to the one worker that there has to be a solution and the guy with the pony tail and the one with the bow clipped to the back of his neck were getting all upset like this was some life or death issue like give me my nuggets and im out. But glad they got it all figured out in a short 25 minutes! Couldn't tell who the managers were; they were all acting like they were born this morning. The food was also cold, and I don't even know how that happened since they remade the order. Also gross floors bruh. Have one of the billion workers mop or something. read more

Exelent service, very helpful in multiple ways and food is great as always. They were also very kind and helpful to the disabled offering different way to cut up food and such. Great place. read more

Wendy's - a half eaten hamburger on a wrapper - Fast Food Near Me - Kent, Ohio

Staff never fails to screw up at this location was charged twice for my order. When I asked for a refund staff talked down to me and made it sound like it was a big deal management was extremely rude when they finally decided to help I paid with Apple Pay and they were having trouble refunding it, so she just refunded it as cashand told me it will be back on my account soon. I did not see any money. Return so management robbed me at this location will never return. read more

I think a lot of these reviews are pretty harsh. I go through the drive through about once a week and they've never gotten my order wrong. There's some warrant to them saying the workers aren't the friendliest but like??? It's a fast food chain in a college town. I didn't expect them to be throwing up rainbows. read more

Food was unappealing, I had to break down piece by piece what I wanted on my burger, and somehow they managed to completely mess it up. The service and staff were very rude and as I sat down to dine in, I could hear them gossiping about other customers and then proceeded to talk about us in a negative manner read more

This store is absolutely great. I eat here very often. They always have my food hot and made right. The service is very respectful. The dining room is always kept clean. People that are complaining about store being closed early for dine in clearly haven't worked in a situation that some of these stores have to deal with. This store does an absolutely amazing job. Will continue to receive my business! read more

Wendy's - Does this look like a jr bacon cheeseburger????? - Fast Food Near Me - Kent, Ohio

Awful. Just awful. The customer service is just terrible. Half the time they say they're cash only but it's not true, they're just lazy.

I don't know what it is, but my order is always wrong. The last time I went they gave me the wrong burger. To add, it was ice cold and I had to throw it into the microwave before I could even eat it. The fries are also usually cold and the frosty are always melted. Not a great wendys location. read more

This Wendy's double charged me. When I called them about it, they said they needed a bunch of information from me including phone number and address. I just want a biggie bag and every time they never give me what I order. It really just hurts my feelings.

Constantly messing up my order or forgetting items that I've paid for. I had to throw away a whole meal because they forgot to add the chili. The chili was the whole purpose of my order... I will not be ordering ever again. read more

We ordered 6 items received 5. (3 sandwiches and 3 fries) The manager kept saying over and over, "we only charged you for 5", that's not the point is it? We ordered 6 and received 5. So charge us for 6 and give us 6. It's not that difficult. Also out of the 3 sandwiches that we received, two of the sandwiches were not what we ordered. But.... they charged us for what we ordered. So that kind of negates the entire "we didn't charge you for the fry that you ordered but didn't receive" Doesn't it? I noticed that even though they made the mistake they were very defensive and tried to make out like it's our fault that they screwed up the order. How does that work? They were also irritated that I would not leave the window until I checked the food. Guess what? I really don't care, I mean if you consistently screw-up you better expect people to double check your work. Even so, when we got home we realized that one of the sandwiches was still wrong. As far as the quality of the food.. gross. Definitely one of the worst Wendy's I've ever been to. read more

Ok, don't know if it's laziness, stupidity, COVID-19, quarantine, or not enough training but WTF!?!?!?!?? I ordered from this location yesterday, Easter, knowing that they would be open because for years it's been a tradition for my family to eat Baconaters on Easter. I arrive to pick up my mobile order and no one says anything at the order screen, so I say 'Hello?' A few times, nothing. By this point another car ha spilled up behind me so I decided to pull ahead to the order window. Under any normal circumstances I would never knock on the drive thru window, but I did. AND NO ONE WAS THERE!!! If you're gonna close your location for Easter at least do like every other restaurant in the area and disable online ordering!!! Today rolls around and I still want my baconater, so I place another order, this time calling ahead to make sure they were open, and when I got there I was told to pull around to the window. Got there, waited 5 minutes for the person to acknowledge I was there and when my food was ready, I was handed it without a single word and the window was slammed closed! Very rude! Will be a while before I visit this location again. read more

Worst Wendy's ever. I see commercials all the time talking about using their app and their rewards and I get emails about it too. I go to this Wendy's and waste my time and they say they don't accept the rewards in their app. The staff were very rude about it and didn't even apologize for my inconvenience. I didn't see any signs anywhere that said they don't accept the rewards on their app, but they expected me to know that beforehand I guess. I've also been here numerous times without using the app and they always get my order wrong. Managers are rude and don't know anything. No apologizes are ever given. I'll drive miles to another wendys before stopping here. read more

ALWAYS missing food. Debated on going to the location the next town over but decided we wanted to eat semi warm food as we were taking it home to kent.Got pulled for what I was assuming for fresh food. Nope. Food was cold , missing bacon on 2 JBC'S and missing nuggets from the 4 for $4. We didn't get a receipt to contact anyone soo....at this point it's more of a nuisance to go there then it is enjoyable. read more

By far the worst Wendy's I've ever been to. It takes about 20-30 minutes to get through the order line at lunchtime most days. Almost every visit results in a call to corporate regarding their dismal speed and lack of customer service. Fast food isn't that hard read more

They basically steal your money here. You order a small fry, they give you a junior carton of fries. You order a large fry, they give you a "small" amount of fries in a Large carton, barely fills it halfway. Never give straws for drinks which is an inconvenience. Craving Wendy's? Don't. read more

So in February I tried to "eat in" and it was literally freezing; the staff were wearing their jackets and the vents were blowing unheated (and maybe chilled) air. I asked the manager and she said they were waiting for corporate to adjust the temp, that each location cannot control its own heating/AC. Dave, i did not know you were so anal; wish you'd have taken your meds. The food is Wendy's food. There will be a 50-50 chance the person taking your order is in training, and yes, friends, that will be S-L-O-W. They know the best time to train the new guy is during the lunchtime rush. Add in the Kent biddy crowd that manages to stand in line for 10 minutes and still not know what they want, and that half hour lunch break will turn into carryout. And you will enjoy standing there hoping someone notices you need a refill, as Dave was apparently too OCD to let you get your own refill as well. Last complaint: exiting this place during lunchtime is the pits; cannot turn left, and even turning right can be tough, esp. if you are hoping to squeak immediately into the left turn lane to head south on Lincoln (easier to go around the block). Who thought putting the exit 20 feet from a traffic light was a good idea? And being mostly clueless, most Kent drivers stoping for the traffic light will not leave an opening so you can turn left into the lot. Guys, do everyone a favor and buy the mini-lot where the Robin Hood once stood and put an exit onto Lincoln St. Oh yeah, don't expect them to shovel the walk, so prepare to walk in the parking lot slush. On the plus side: clean, across from campus, and they can cook as well as the other Wendy's. But it is so f-in corporate, so why not try someplace local, or at least some place interested in giving you a good customer experience instead of being a clueless pain? read more

Terrible humans working there, I just wanted nuggets, and all they gave me was false hope.

Again, this Wendy's has got to be the absolute worst ever. When you order a burger, they tell you it will take them 5-10 minutes... Multiple cars in the lot waiting for their food. But they'll give you your frosty so it turns to complete liquid while you wait! Also, paid nearly $10 for a meal and they forgot our beverage. They have problems there from start to finish. Horrible service. And there fries are always cold and limp. read more

The sweet tea was WARM and it tasted rotten and old. The buns for my burger and my wives burger both were stale and dry. If not I will go somewhere else, I will tell you when I'm done ordering read more

The absolute epitome of garbage this Wendy's treats the customers like abused animals cold food and neglect. Thank you for my baked potato that is so brown I thought you served dirt to me. Thank you for my chicken sandwich with one tiny ass leaf of lettuce and a tomato the size of quarter. Thank you for the fast service which is pretty easy to provide when you leave the food in the warmer for 9+ hours. The fries tasted like the ocean my tongue was given so much sodium in the first bite it jumped out of my mouth and bitch slapped me. My fourth item a fried chicken sandwich was the best thing of the trip coming in at a solid 4/10. In conclusion; get your lazy overpaid minimum wage employees out of the dining room so I don't feel hunted as I pull in, make the food fresh or at the very least within 5 hours of my arrival, explain to everyone why there are 8 people working when you have no business and go fuck yourself. Never go here literally so many better options like the Taco Bell next door great food and service go there :).clayt read more

I would put 0 stars if I could. First off, took forever to even get to the window (slow service). Secondly, we never received a receipt for our messed up order. Never received straws for our drinks that were BOTH Dr Pepper when we ordered Coke and a Diet Coke. We repeated our order to him three times and asked for sauce for our 4 for $4 meal deal when ordered and we almost drove off without our sauces. When we asked for our sauces the cashier seemed extremely annoyed by the situation. He never said a single word to us about our order when at the window. He was extremely rude. Being a former fast food employee, I tend to give the cashiers at the window some credit for dealing with a lot. However there is a difference between poor customer service with the lack of caring and being extremely overwhelmed. There is no excuse for no receipt, wrong drinks, no straws and lack of customer recognition. read more

I've been here twice in the same week and each time I went something had been wrong with our order. I ordered two boo books and didn't receive them or notice until I got home. Both times I didn't get a receipt so I couldn't even prove that I didn't receive my missing things. Tonight when we went an employee was yelling and carrying on about life.
