The online ordering was easy and my lunch was ready way before the designated pick up time. I ordered the italian panini & wow was it delicious! I was excited to see a great selection of soups, sandwiches, salads, and pitas on the menu. I ended up ordering the falafel pita and a small matzo ball soup, and I was pleasantly surprised to see they carried Poppi, the gut-friendly soda, which is always a plus. And I treated myself to a little baklava as well. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. The falafel was flavorful, the pita was soft and warm, and the soup was comforting and well-seasoned. Overall, a great spot with friendly service and tasty food.

25 years of waiting and just disappointment…read more Nice warm day out, and me and my mom decided to go get something to eat for lunch. We hadn't been here before, but she has been waiting 25 years to come here. She has lived in Akron for all her life, and Kenmore for 10 of those. The bread was soggy, the ingredients were not quality whatsoever, it even looks like they cooked the sandwich with the lettuce on it. The pickles, the only thing free with this expensive meal, were soggy. We paid $41 for this meal for just utter disappointment. Not only that, but these are MAGA Trumpers, displayed everywhere, which is embarrassing in a town with such diversity as Kenmore has. Most of your customers are black, so this is just insulting.

I don't want to ruin my appetite thinking about Trump. That being said, the sandwich was the best sandwich I have eaten in Ohio. I will return and get some weird thing when I go back. Building was old a full of knick-knacks. They seemed to sell retail beer, but the selection wasn't amazing but they had some interesting stuff.

However, the bathroom looked like a crime scene. It was awful. To top it off , after having to touch certain things within the bathroom, there was zero soap to wash my hands. Thankfully there was some hand sanitizer where you place your order. I've been in cleaner restrooms at truck stops in West Virginia. Then were the prices. I get it everything is expensive now, but $17 for a medium sized sandwich and two cans of Pepsi seemed a bit much for me. Throw in some fries or chips or something. I get it, it's a Highland Square institution and I really wanted to like it. I just don't think I'll be back.

If you are a college student, this was my go to place to eat before and after a night out on the weekend! Big Akron staple right here. The fist thing you will notice is the size of the sandwich. It's a big boy. When food is good, I have a tendency to eat it as if I was in a competitive eating competition. This was definitely the case with the pulled pork. Having eaten my pulled pork sandwich so quickly, I also got the opportunity to try my wife's steak sandwich which was equally as impressive. I know that if I lived in the cuyahoga falls area, my weight would become an issue due to how frequently I would eat at this food truck. I left after eating kitchen 212 and had to take a long hard look in the mirror and make some changes in my life.
