There was so little fudge that the cookie crumble layer literally fell out of the cake when it was cut. The structure just wasn't there, and it felt skimpy compared to the previous year. For an ice cream cake, the fudge isn't optional--it's what holds everything together. What makes this especially disappointing is the price point. The cake was close enough in cost to a Moio's cake that, next time, I wouldn't gamble on whether the quality might be corrected. For that price, consistency matters. We did reach out about the issue, but the response didn't really address the core problem or offer much reassurance for future orders. Their Spanish rice isn't vegetarian friendly (chicken stock used) but they have a vegetarian alternative rice. When they cook for a vegetarian, they use a different grill, so your food isn't cooked in meat grease. I know this because Jake, who served me, covered it all as soon as I mentioned that I was vegetarian. When the food arrived it looked great, and it tasted great as well.
