This was around the corner from me when I lived in SE Huntsville and very convenient to pick up some quick eats after shopping at Target or Barnes & Noble. Or getting something fast to eat before getting a mani/Pedi at the nearby strip mall or going to the pet store. Or when visiting Kohl's across the street. I never had a problem at this Wendy's even though I don't live in the area anymore. It's not hard to get in and out quickly and the drive through always moved at a decent pace. We didn't have breakfast due to the errands we had to take care of. We were on the same side of the road as this Wendy's and my husband made the executive decision of right turn in to get a bite to eat. The drive thru moved a little in the slow side but not that bad. The dining room was open today. This restaurant has had trouble getting people to work. We ordered two singles and a small fry. Our food was hot and the fries were fresh. I have no complaint about the taste or quality of the foods we had today. My single was delicious!!! read more

I mean, I don't have a longstanding relationship with this (or any other) Wendy's. But...I was starving, we had like 10 minutes tops before we had to be somewhere, the drive-thru beckoned, and I got a kids meal (better half got nuggets) in like 2 minutes. Food was hot and tasty. The drive-thru crew was EXCEPTIONALLY nice. The place looked clean. Maybe it's hit or miss, maybe I'm just NOT THAT picky about fast food, but some of these reviews seem a bit odd...? I went to this particular Wendy's today for lunch, since I was in the mood for Wendy's after getting some shoes from Shoe Carnival. Here's what I have to say about my experience today and another experience I had the last time I was at this Wendy's. Overall, I would say that the food and the frosty were delicious, but the customer service was absolutely awful. First off, the guy who was in charge of the drive thru taking my order kept mumbling and I asked him numerous times to speak up. When it came time to pay and get my food, no words were spoken and everything felt rushed. I was trying to be nice to the guy who took my order, but it felt like he rather be somewhere else and was not interested in being at Wendy's. The last time I went to this Wendy's, May of 2019, was for my best friends birthday party. We always celebrate his birthday at Wendy's and let's call it our tradition. None of the employees told us they were closing in a few minutes (dine in room) and kept staring at us. I understand that we should've looked at the time before coming in, but c'mon, at least say something. The employees turned the lights out on us and then said "oh yeah...by the way, the dining room is closed. I guess we forgot to tell y'all that." I know times are tough for fast food workers and it can be stressful, I understand that...but c'mon, the customer service can be better. I hate to be a "Karen", but I will take my money to a different Wendy's. The Wendy's on South Memorial Parkway is 100% better than this Wendy's. read more

The young woman taking our order made us feel really rushed while trying to order asking each time "anything else?" "is that all?" My husband has a hard time ordering as it is, this unnecessary pressure of being asked every time at the end of ordering something causes more anxiety. The food was fresh and they were rather quick. I went to the drive thru last Thursday while they were in a rush I ordered 2 biggie bags and a double cheeseburger and when I got to the window witch only took around 2 min and there were 3 cars infront of me I was only at the window for around 40 seconds. This place is very fast affordable and all around just a solid place to go to eat. read more

I looked at the website before arriving. I will include the screenshot of their website which said their dining room was open, delivery, and drive thru. My husband and I carpool to work and I had him drop me off to have breakfast. The doors were open. I entered with a mask. I was told the dining room did not open until 11. Ok. May I order my breakfast and take it with me. She has to ask the manager who informs me again that the dining room isn't open til 11. I ask why the door is open? It is for employees to enter. They aren't allowed to use the back door. I am already in the stores and they can't even sell me a biscuit? I guess COVID is more contagious at 10:15? An exception could have been made. I haven't been to Wendy's in years. I never will be back. I was excited to try the new breakfast menu. No worries. I will share my thoughts on EVERY social media site and website I can find. What about your guest? Keep the doors locked if you aren't open. When I attempted to walk back in and ask further questions the manager had locked the door. My 2 year old grandson was hungry so we stopped in the dining room, last Saturday on our way to Grant. When we walked in, all the employees turned their back on us and walk away. Never acknowledged they we were standing there. One young lady came up to the register, we thought to welcome us and take our order. No - she never looked at us. She only was there to take an order for someone else (an employee in the back) and walk away. We waited for some time, until we realized they were not interested in serving us. SO We drove over the mountain to Hampton Cove Wendy's. There were so nice and smiling - that I gave them a $20 tip to share amount themselves. I really don't understand why people cannot just be nice. It takes a lot less energy to be kind than mean. I will never go to this establishment again. People must be being paid to write "good" comments on the Wendy's store - because this is NOT the first time I have had a terrible experience... just decided to share this one, in hope that the manager/owner of this store addresses the employees attitude and work ethics. read more

Bought a large chili for lunch today. It came with a large piece of unidentifiable black something, and pieces of undercooked beef. I used to work for Wendy's, and unidentifiable black things and undercooked beef were not in the chili recipe. My previous visit here, and review, was poor quality fries. Early in the day and the floor around the food stations was littered with dropped food, and trash. The manager has on slides with socks. Not a hair net or any kind of uniform in sight!! As a former fast food employee the service here is despicable. I went inside but was told the dining room was closed, not sure why they don't lock the doors at this point as this is a common complaint according to other reviews. I then waited in the drive thru for 30 minutes and had to ask for my drink. This is the type of situation where the whole restaurant may need to close for restaffing/training because I will not return. It is a waste supporting business that operate in such a sloppy way. A junior cheeseburger makes a great snack. Get it without pickle for the best taste. The drive-through is super speedy and the cashier (on my visit) super honest. I had ignored her request to wait for my change and drove off. I had given her $5.08 instead of what I thought was a single and eight pennies. She ran through the store and caught me after I had driven around the building. I guess I should stop thinking about the drive-through design as a negative. It forces you to circle the building twice, first to enter the path and place an order, and second to pick up the order and exit the parking lot. I've always wondered why they didn't reverse the kitchen layout when they built the store, but today I'm glad they didn't! read more

Slow, slow and slow. The food was good, I watched it being assembled (no way of knowing when the chicken was cooked), so I know the kitchen staffs wears gloves. The register area is cramped and staffed with folks who make snails look like Ferraris. The kitchen and dining area were VERY clean. This has to consistently be the worst fast food restaurant I have ever been to. It has gotten so bad that I've told my family we are never going here again. They have an amazing location in Jones Valley and they ruin it with horrible service and a dirty restaurant . When I watch the person taking orders continue to walk over a cup on the floor thats just laying there and I see the dirty tables and lots of workers standing around doing nothing it tells me that the management at this location is terrible. I have never been in this location and got my food quickly and usually it always takes far too long. When it finally comes it's just OK. The Wendy's corporate office, if notified, would probably come put the hammer down on this place and that's probably what I'm going to do. I have been to so many Wendy's over the years that were very good but this one just give them all a bad name. So if you want slow service in a dirty restaurant with low quality people working this is the place for you. As I sat contemplating my life choices during the 30 minute wait for my food, I thought to myself, "why is this place so dirty? Why did the manager yell over me as I was ordering?". This is by far the absolute worst fast food experience I have ever had. The lemonade is 100% pulp, we had to ask at the 20 minute mark why we have not received our food yet, and there was even then no sense of urgency for getting our food to us. I'm okay with good food taking time to be prepared, I am not okay with subpar food taking over 30 minutes to be prepared.
