This truly store is truly worthy of 1 star. Where do I begin.... 1. This restaurant is always filthy/ dirty. The tables are never clean, the doors always have hand prints, the bathrooms are dirty, the condiment area is always a mess and the floor needs a good sweep. 2. The workers seem like they couldn't care less and the manager is non existent. Specifically, I place my order, there is no real greeting from the cashier. I just this lazy look, like I was inconveniencing them. Not ignorance but indifference.. The manager is non-existent it seems. There was literally a woman standing next to me that requested management. One of the workers came out and told her the manager wasn't coming out and that she could resolve the issue. This is not how to run a restaurant nor is it fair to the worker, especially if things get hostile. The only pro to the experience was that the food was at least hot and fresh. This location needs an overhaul and new management. Corporate needs to look into this store. read more

They heated up a honey buddy chicken biscuit sandwich until it was a complete rock. I don't understand how fast food workers do this to paying customers. If they were out of uniform & experienced this type of customer service going through a drive thru & being given poor quality food they wouldn't like it & yet, they're completely comfortable doing it themselves. Hadnt been to Wendys in years but had a hankering for a burger that disnt cost $10+. First off, no one would take my order at the drive thru after I asked the person over the loud speaker a question about a burger. Waited 10 mins and no one. Drove up to the window and no one would open the window despite there being at least 5 staff near the windo. After waiting another 5 minutes I decided to waive. A few staff looked at me and didnt respond. Someone finally opened the window only to give me an evil stare. Then the two other people who rang me up and gave me the food also gave me evil stares. Went through drive through and told the person on intercom I wanted to place 2 orders. He said that was impossible, he can't take 2 orders. I said well if you can't handle 2 orders can you get your manager please. It was silence on there intercom after for a minute so I drove to window and while waiting for someone to come all I heard and saw was the you staff cursing at each other and doing everything but working. Then police came and told me with empathy that they called the cops and won't take the order. Strange!!!! read more

I had a terrible experience with this restaurant about a year ago. (Please see posting.) They served improperly covered chilli which spilled all over my new car. When I called the place, there was shouting in the background. The woman answering the phone was rude and seemed incoherent. She said someone would call me. But she had not asked for my number and I never received a call. Given the reputation of the place I was afraid to return there personally. I dealt with Wendy's customer service ongoingly and was finally told that the district manager would compensate me for the expense cleaning my car. I never received the check. So far, I have not received a further response from Wendy's management. It appears that they do not follow up complaints and/or make false promises. Sent my 12 year old son in to order , Boy in charge at 3:30 that afternoon told him they were out of hamburges & chicken sandwiches then when he went to leave said "just kidding" then after my son ordered he told him his card didn't work. When I went in to inquire I was told the card did work.... After waited or 5 minutes. I had to speak up & ask if anyone was working the counter. Then after waiting longer & watching the manager flirt with & distract his employees longer , when I asked while I was still waiting , I was treated turkey & with hostility to the point that a female employee had to restrain the manager. We waited in line for 20 min and there were only 2 customers in front of us. Another customer complained the sandwich was cold because he waited too long. The soda machine was not working. I had a hankering for a nice burger and fries last week. Valentine's Day had me feeling lonely, and I knew the food could provide some, albeit brief, comfort for my loins. Didn't think too much about it, but as I ordered the Bacon-Nator with extra bacon, it kind of clicked. Wendy's is really the only true "fast food" I can tolerate. I love their burgers, I usually get the junior bacon cheeseburger. The fries are also good. I like that this Wendy's is open late. As far Wendy's food is concerned, I have nothing to complain about. Their hamburgers and fries are a step above McDonald's and Burger King, and I enjoy their salads. However, my experiences with the service at this location have been consistently bad. The people working the drive-thru windows have terrible attitudes. I can understand being bitter about working a minimum wage job on the Main Line, but these employees need to realize that not all of their patrons are affluent snobs. How hard can it be to make a business transaction? My first question at the drive thru: do you have fresh coffee, they said yes. When I arrived at my destination less than 5 minutes later, the coffee is cold and the cup is half empty. I didn't drink any of it, had to throw it out. My order came to 10.31, but the screen read 8.31 when I pulled toward the window, they could have said " and your total is 10.31" so I wouldn't be sitting at the window waiting for my 2 dollars change. And how would I know if they were correct, they didn't give me a receipt. No receipt, half empty cold coffee, inaccurate screen, inattentive workers. Honestly, there isn't a week that goes by where I don't find myself a stopping at this Wendy's. It always exceeds my expectations. Their signature 4for4 is an incredible deal. The nuggets and fries are simply delightful. The deal itself allows such wide variety of options to choose from. I recommend the junior bacon, and swap out the drink for a small milkshake. Let's be honest, if you've been to one Wendy's, you've been to them all. The reason I'll always have a fond memory of Haverford's Wendy's is when I was going to Methacton High back in the 70s, this one was the only one in the area. I kid you not. They weren't everywhere then like they are now--and it was by accident I discovered the one on Lancaster Avenue because I didn't know it was there. Their catch phrase was Hot-N-Juicy and that's exactly what the burgers were. I couldn't wait till I got out of school Friday, hop on my bike, and ride the 17 miles from my house to this Wendy's in Haverford. They say some things never change. While about every six weeks I'll patronize my local Wendy's, I make it a point once a year to go back to Haverford. I agree with some of the other reviews that the staff isn't exactly congenial sometimes, but hey, that's to be expected at a fast-food establishment. I'm not a spring chicken anymore so I have to watch how much beef I eat, so I have the Spicy Chicken combo. Not a bad alternative. In the spring when they have their fish sandwiches, theirs are better than McDonald's or Burger King's, in my mind. Sometimes I'll swap my fries for chili because that's good stuff too. read more

This is my favorite Wendy's. I'm gonna be honest, I used to live next door. I've probably been to this Wendy's 1,000 times. I've seen it all at this Wendy's. I've seen fights break out in the kitchen. I've seen drunk people licking french fries off the floor. I even saw a wedding party there once. But I'll tell you what -- they always deliver. I especially like the chicken club add cheese. Or the junior bacon cheeseburger. One day the manager even gave me a VIP card which gave me a 10% discount. I cherished that card for years. Then my wallet was stolen. But I still feel like a VIP every time I walk in that place.
