tonight i ordered a mobile order, and i went through the drive through and the employee said they did not have the order in their system despite my order being at the correct location and being paid for already. the employee said i need to go inside to get my order because they do not have it (defeats the whole purpose of a mobile order). i went inside and waited for 10ish min with no order. one employee was in the back cursing loudly and saying they could work elsewhere for the same amount of pay and lacked any sort of care for placing my order. when waiting some more, i showed the receipt for my order and still didn't get my order. i ended up leaving the establishment with no food because of the wait time. i would not recommend to go to this wendy's or even place a mobile order for that matter (you will have to go inside anyway). do not recommend- im down 5 bucks now w no food read more

Just to preface - I've never left a Yelp review before but this was so bad I had to create an account. Every single aspect of this experience was awful from the wait time to the quality of the food. The engagement with the employees was so painful. Everyone was nice enough to speak to, but so incredibly inefficient. My group of four went inside to order food, and the time between the first person ordering to me (the last) was 20 whole minutes. If I wasn't so hungry I would have just left. Then the food came out dry and unappealing, which hasn't happened to me at a Wendy's before. This is a pathetic excuse for a fast food restaurant given this experience added 35 minutes to our road trip. Just save yourself the trouble and go to Taco Bell next door. I think the female employee with the fake eyelashes and gallon of lip gloss is actually trying to get fired. No greeting, no smile, no eye contact, she just says "for here or to go" and that's your queue to order. Then she drags her feet across the floor to grab your food. This place isn't usually this disappointing when it comes to service, but today was terrible. Nobody was wearing masks, not a single employee except maybe the lady taking payments. I was coming from Wilmington and wanted to feed my kids since it was going to be pretty late for my little kids. The lady taking my drive through order quickly reminded me that I was not at Chick Fil-A. After receiving the typical fast food greeting greeting, I ordered a 4 for 4. Next think I heard was "sauce and drink." Even though I grew up speaking two languages, "sauce and drink" caught me by surprise and I didn't understand what she meant. She kindly repeated herself but with some stank on it. My wife was pissed! I on the other hand couldn't help but laugh. My wife was mumbling something about this lady being rude but I couldn't help but laugh. As soon as we got to the second window, we could tell who was not happy to be at work. Please give her $15 an hour so she will smile and be nice to customers. Oh well, it isn't like there aren't other restaurants near there. If customer service is a thing to you, go ahead and skip this place when she is working. We must say that as cheerful as Jenny was, the other young man helping customers was very helpful and respectful. read more

This is by far the worst Wendy's and fast food restaurant in Hampstead. The service has always been bad but it keeps getting worse. I was at the drive-thru and and the manager interrupted the employee taking my order. The employee was extremely rude and immature!!! How hard is it to take an order? I know it isn't hard because I have done it! I spoke to the manager and she said that they only hire kids and that they are silly and that I need to pray for them. If she cannot control her staff than she needs to find another job! She is also rude and condescending. As I was pulling away the employee who took my order started dancing like a gorilla in the parking lot. This restaurant is a joke, with clowns working there. I would bet that the five star reviews are from the employees. The fries are always cold and the service is slow and There are employees who work there out of uniform. I have watched them in the middle of a rush walk in out of uniform and make food for themselves. They don't wash their hands before doing this. They have their hair down and taking on their cell phones. The bathroom is dirty. The dining room is dirty. Tables aren't wiped down, the drink station is filthy. Not only that, but when I called to let them know, so they didn't risk a small child eating it and dying, then did NOT apologize, and hung up on me after they said "would you like a refund?" I went there at 1014 and they said that they weren't serving breakfast because they stop serving breakfast once they run out. They have a huge sign on the side of their window saying that they serve breakfast until 1030 which is false advertising. Bad business practice and the sign should be removed since they do not serve breakfast until 1030. read more

This Wendy's is the best Wendy's I have ever experienced. During lunchtime they have one of the quickest drive-thru staff. My food came to the window before I could even put my card back in my wallet. The food was fresh, hot and better than expected. This Wendy's service is close to that of the famous chicken sandwich restaurant. I have eaten here about 5 times in the last 2 months and had excellent service each time. read more
