This is probably one of the most consistent breakfast places by the beach. It's a Denny's but a solid breakfast. The service was a little slow but good and food was great. Hostess was a very sweet woman. However when we sat down a young woman server, proceeded to speak very loudly and say "IS THIS MY TABLE". It was just pretty awkward. Then when it came to ordering drinks I said I would like a lemonade. The young server then stated they did not have it, I told her that was fine can I have tea instead. She then yells across the restaurant to ask the hostess if they have the tea. I instantly just said i can just have a sprite and she stated "i was just curious myself too" like what When it came to food, wait time was pretty good. But our server was "play fighting" with another worker and yelling profanity in the back while our food was sitting there ready to be brought to the table..... till the hostess finally seen the food then served it to us. Just meh! Haven't been to a Denny's in many years snd was quite disappointed. Server was lovely but kitchen was soooo slow, it wasn't that busy and out food took 40 minutes when the table next to us with the same size party got theirs in 10. My daughter ordered pumpkin pecan pancakes but they were out of pecans so just got pumpkin. My husband had the ultimate grand slam which was ok but the toasted rye wasn't toasted!! Just bread. We to Denny's in Snead's Ferry today . Things were really slow but it was ok, we didn't have anywhere we had to be. While we were waiting , one of the servers either quit or got fired adding more tension to the scene. When we finally got our food my hubby got burnt toast with no butter or jelly. Came with a party of six. Last week came with a party of 10 and had no issues. This time there were multiple issues. One of us ordered the lumberjack slam and didn't get his pancakes, and his eggs were drastically undercooked with runny egg WHITES filling his plate. Another received corn instead of broccoli with his meal and had the same issue with drastically undercooked eggs. The fries served with the burger had no salt or any form of seasoning on them along with the burger patties which were dry and the burger was falling apart before I even started to eat it. Not to mention it took twenty minutes for us to get our mugs of plain black coffee. Coming from someone who also works in the food service industry, no industrial coffee maker takes that long to brew. Go to Waffle House. If your server is Mal, ask for someone else. read more

I stopped in this morning with my son for Breakfast this being our first time at this location. Upon arriving inside we were greeted very kindly and asked if we wanted a table or booth. Our waitress was very professional and knew her job. She made sure to tell us about a few new items on the menu if we were interested. Our food was cooked to breakfast perfection and served hot from the kitchen. Our waitress was par on keeping our drinks refilled without us asking. The restaurant was clean as well as the restroom and the exterior if the restaurant was clean as well. This meaning no trash and such in the parking lot. Three of us went in this morning for breakfast and had a pretty good meal. Our waitress was pleasant and attentive. My boyfriend had the Co-Reactor meal, I had the dulce de leche cinnamon pancake meal, and the little person in our group had chocolate chip pancakes and a strawberry banana smoothie. The co-reactor had fresh strawberries and a strawberry sauce. I sampled it and it was awesome! My only complaints were the quality of the bacon in our two adult meals and the cinnamon disbursement in my pancakes. I don't know if I could have ordered a different kind of bacon but if I could have I would of. I can't really describe it other then to say it it wasn't quality. The cinnamon in my pancakes was only in the middle and not throughout. The last thing I want to add is that as we were paying an employee quit on the spot. We ordered to go due to the current mandated order of to go or delivery only and we were impressed. We ordered kids chicken on a stick with broccoli (even remembered the BBQ sauce!), kids junior slam with scrambled eggs, bacon, and pancakes (all condiments were included), bacon bourbon burger with fruit, double cheeseburger with bacon and fruit, and the turkey sandwich (cannot remember the exact name) with fruit. All foods were fresh, correct and ready right on time. We ordered via the online site and it was easy and accurate to what is available at this time due to restrictions on food. We requested ASAP for pick up and were emailed 5:33 pm completion and it was ready when we arrived at 5:49 it was ready. All items were included as described and were delicious. Called & she to Tiffany, but she seemed confused about what to do since we are disabled (the reason we ordered delivery) & could not drive down to pick up up missing items & apparently Dennys cannot deliver them. She said she would leave a message for her manager & he would take care of the problem, but we never heard from him. Came in and were given 2 things of silverware for 2 adults and 2 kids. We're told there was no crayons for our kids to use (but they had crayons available for a later couple who also had 2 kids. Wild.) we weren't given any napkins besides what our silverware was in (again with 2 kids this is kind of sad). Also weren't offered any to go containers for our left over drinks for our kids nor were we told where to pay. Don't eat here. Breakfast was great. It came out hot and was correct. The staff greeted us when we walked in and also was very attentive while we were there. I did the build your own omelette.. it was so good. Fire roasted peppers and onions, pico, and tomatoes with American cheese, so delish. I was shocked to see a full functioning bar with whatever you could imagine, and they serve you at 8am and on. Come here a few times a month usually after work. Love the people here, from the wait staff to the management. Lillia P and Bobby are usually there when I go and not only are they some of the best people there, but I actually look forward to seeing them when I go. I hope the owners of this restaurant know the value of these 2 people and pay them what they are worth. There are other employees that are just as great but I don't know them by name. Co-workers and I came in here for lunch. I've been here before and service was good, if not great. This particular day was pretty bad, but ended on a high note. We all ordered coffee or tea and a glass of water. We were told their water was shut off and we would have to pay for bottled water. Why would we have to pay for bottled water?! Denny's was one of the only chain restaurants that we saw around the Sneads Ferry area we were staying in. When we walked in on Saturday morning we were greeted shortly after entering. For breakfast, the entire dining area was packed. We waited less than 5 minutes before the hostess was leading us to a table in the back near the restrooms. I'd normally make a big deal about sitting next to the restrooms but because it clearly was a packed morning, we settle for our seats. Service was as expected. Our poor waitress was juggling 4 or 5 tables at one time. But she managed! She was a little slow about picking up dirty dishes from our table as we finished as well as refills on our drinks, but overall the food and service was fair. Waitress/Hostess was very polite and friendly. The menus are clean as well as the tables and seats. The food was served pretty quickly and the French fries were hot when my meal arrived. I had the Cali Club sandwich and it was pretty good. My wife had the Cranberry Chicken Salad and requested the romaine lettuce instead of the spring mix. Every time I'm there, I always get a takeout too. I usually get a loaded burger for my hubby. I told the server to add lettuce, tomato, onion. I get home, hubby opens it, just a burger and cheese.
