If I could do 0 stars I would! 32 minutes of sitting in the drive thru and watched multiple people yelling and waving hands ahead of us. When it was our turn at the window the whole we watched just standing by the window didn't even have our 2 small sofas ready yet or the 5 free frostys, then says we don't have chocolate, then gave us 3 brownie batter things instead. So we said where's the manager who looked like an idiot and said we have food right here and I said give me a refund and keep it you should be ashamed of this. Then she sent a young long blonde haired kid who said it's not my PROVOCATIVE, yes that exact word lol we think he meant perogative, young entitled dipsh$!T. Then he wouldn't give us straws or spoons for our kids few items we did get and then also says we did the refund but no receipt for us hmmm. I was a crew member/ crew trainer at this store for 3 YEARS and when my mom finally had enough of running a store where you get verbally abused by staff she left and then they cut my hours and when I CALLED OFF I was accused of doing a no call no show when I called... they then said they figured everything out and TODAY I get a call 2 hours before my shift that I couldn't come in because they said the manager I CALLED said I did a no call no show... here's some pictures and videos of this DISGUSTING store and how awful the employees work.... They do drugs in the break room and behind the dumpster as well.. best bet is to stay away because half the time they don't even wear gloves... on top of that they rig there own hours... I had placed the order on the mobile app. After picking up the order I realized there were items missing, so I used the chat feature on the mobile app. They escalated my chat to the local manager, Emily Basehoar. Below is her response. I don't live in the area, so traveling back to get a refund is out of the question. I was at this place a few months back on my way to look at a property to rent in the area and there was a black gentleman wearing a mask ( he kind of looks like a ninja) he was kind and compassionate very sweet his voice is low also he made sure i had everything i ordered before i left the building I went in here recently (maybe a week or so ago and it has definitely changed for starters the same gentleman was there (the gentleman who looks like a ninja) he took my order again but this time i bought my family and we ate in once we had sat down we sat near the doors closest to the dumpster a Caucasian female (half of her hair is purple and she had two braids going straight back) when we were at the register getting our food i could here her being disrespectful and very aggressive towards other employees at one point she came from behind the register and i remember hearing her mumble I not soft and i kind of tilted my head to ensure she wasn't talking to me she then continued to be aggressive to the employee as she went to the bathroom so i didn't react i also heard her saying something about the black males tattoos and other racist statements about him that i won't say on here but i will say they were very inappropriate and i will also be contacting corporate about that because we are not our ancestors an if i knew that young man i definitely would have reacted also as we were leaving we saw her come from behind the dumpster kind of fixing herself and being fidgety like she was doing a drug and she smelled raunchy but i couldn't pinpoint what she was smoking but it was definitely not a cigarette Wendys has to do better with picking their employee she is definitely bad for business read more

Dining room was closed with no notice. We got off the highway pulling a 36' travel trailer and parked in the lot just to walk up and find the doors locked. The hours of operation for the dining room were clearly posted indicating the dining room was open but no one was allowed inside and SEVERAL guests were forced to leave and go elsewhere. No sign posted anywhere indicating the dining room was closed. This is an unacceptable business practice. I was unable to place complaint to corporate since you need a store number and this can ONLY be found on a receipt but no service = no receipt. read more

12/1/2022 is a different time then the past 2 3/4 yrs with Covid. During that time, I must admit Wendy's was so poorly run and it effected everyone. By the way, it wasn't just this location, it was all Wendy's in Berks County, PA. However, since July 2022 they redeemed themselves having efficient staff, food, drinks and friendly service. Ate here when first remodeled and all was good. This last experience was not very good in terms of service and this was not our first choice, but not waiting 45 minutes at the C.B. as much as we like it there. Location could not handle the volume of traffic at the drive-thru and wait the counter at the same time on a busy Sunday afternoon and it seemed like everyone was doing two jobs. Don't know what is going on with many of the restaurants in this area, but hope it doesn't get any worse. I feel this location could possibly improve if hired more help on busy weekends? read more

We recently made the annual pilgrimage to Knobels and for whatever reason with that also comes the annual pilgrimage to this temple of all that is greasy good. (Not to be confused with Shady Maple which is the temple of eating. Either saying or even typing the name of Da Shade should elicit a brief pause and then a bowing of your head. But I digress.) The drive thru line this year was as slow as ever and the staff was as apathetic as usual except this year offered a new twist! It's called let's pretend all you can get with a kids meal is fries because apples would require to much effort too much effort to find them. ZERO STARS!! We placed a order online due to this locations long wait times. Online we chose to pick up our order inside. When we arrived to do so all the lobby doors were locked (signs all over say "our lobby is OPEN" We than due to downpouring rain pulled up into the line by the front widow to ask what to do to pick up since it seemed outrageous to wait in a line of 15 cars for a order that was paid for a ready to pick up according to out app. The blonde at the window yelled out to get in line to tell them we were there. We tried to explain we wanted to use lobby pick up and she yelled again and than proceeded to slam the window in our face, we than drove around into the line of cars, waited 25 minutes to reach the window again. The food was cold and drinks were not ready and when we mentioned that the signs say the lobby is open (we also watched multiple ppl try to go inside while we were waiting) perhaps they should remove the signs, the womans response was to say "uhh NO bc WE ARE OPEN" and slam the window shut. We were missing a drink so had to wait for her to return to the window and gave attitude. We got home to find they forgot an entire meal as well and we didn't get any of our sauces. read more

Service worthy of zero stars. Took more than 5 mins to even get our order in since the man at the counter kept walking away to help prepare food. The people in the kitchen moved slower than slow, a sloth taken out of its home and placed in this restaurant with no training could have made a burger faster. In the time it took to get our order in I could have walked to the nearest convenience store and picked up a bottle of head and shoulders for the man behind the register and his impressive level of dandruff. Filthy. From the bathrooms to the kitchen (which is in plain sight) to the condiment/beverage station- all of it is unkempt and dirty. Frenzied, distracted, and unmanaged teenagers were in charge and it was unsettling. I saw one adult behind the counter, but she was hurriedly passing through- and she looked just as disheveled as the rest of the team, and then I didn't see her again. No one was in charge. Nobody was overlooking proper food safety protocols and no one was managing these young employees. These kids were touching their hair, noses and faces and wiping their hands on their pants (which appeared to have been wiped on many times prior). No gloves were worn by any of them. I never saw anyone washing hands (even after one young woman blew her nose into a paper towel- IN PLAIN SIGHT of all of us customers!). Another employee had her hand INSIDE a chili container before she filled it with chili. Gross. One kid, who I think was in charge of the fryer, talked endlessly while his coworkers scrambled to fill orders. It was craziness. We all had an opportunity to watch all of this go down because we waited ten minutes for food. This happened in only ten minutes! I shudder at the thought of the entire operation and what's going on behind the scenes that I can't see. My husband and I had zero confidence in the handling of the food. Dear Wendy's corporate or GM of this franchise: do something before a customer gets seriously ill. Shame on you. read more

recently i went there and got a 4pc chicken nugget, three of which were normal nuggets. however, one of them was a spicy chicken nugget or something? i'm not sure but clearly it wasn't meant to be in there. besides that recent occurrence, nothing has ever been wrong with the food, typically it's hot/warm and good enough for fast food. however, sometimes it can take an extremely long time to get taken care of if you're going through the drive through even if you're the one sitting at the thing you order at. i understand they're most likely understaffed but regardless it's frustrating when you have to wait five minutes to order. read more

I used to love this Wendy's. Whenever I couldn't make it to Bethlehem to eat dead cows, Wendy's in Hamburg was my next best option. But alas, after finding an acrylic nail in my fries I was a bit heated. When I brought it to the employee's attention, he told me that only men employees were there and that I should call the number on the bag. The burger tasted like dog meat and was wet. My kids couldn't finish their food. The spicy chicken my husband had tasted like old chicken. We threw all our food out. Nasty! 100+ drink options, but nowhere to change a diaper. Nice. You'd think that they would have diaper changers, considering the likely high number of unplanned pregnancies in the surrounding community. If you're just looking for delicious, home cooked-like meal, I can't review. But based on the atmosphere alone, I'm going to suggest you take your appetite for marginal food-like product elsewhere. Per usual, my order was not correct. Today, my boyfriend and I each ordered the 4 for $4 bag. I asked for a the bacon cheeseburger, no cheese, extra, extra pickle. Well, no surprise, there was no pickle. We asked for BBQ sauce to go with our nuggets. No sauce at all. I asked for a packet of salt. Got almost two dozen packets of salt. Ordered sweet tea. It was pretty much sugar water. So sweet it wasn't tolerable to drink and we only got one straw for two drinks. French fries were loaded with bad, black spots so less than half of those were eaten. I didn't bother to turn around and take the sandwich back because every time I do that, the rest of my food gets cold while waiting in the whole one line they have. I also didn't get a receipt so I couldn't even call the number at the bottom of it. Plus I didn't need the bad attitude I seem to get when I take something back. I don't think I will be going back to this location at all. I will take my business over to Burger King next door from now on. read more

When on the road we like to stop for a quick Wendy's burger. The service on a Wednesday at 6 pm was incredibly slow, even though there were only 10 people in the restaurant.
