Avoid at all cost. Waiting in drive through the car in front of us seemed to be angry and drive away and not finish thier order. When we made our order we could see why. The person taking the order was clearly on drugs. inability to understand. could not get the order right after multiple attempts. this was not a situation where they could not hear the order they just could not get it right. So first after waiting 15 minutes in the drive through, someone gets on the speaker and says they can't take orders because they are on shift change and we have to come inside. Then, there are 4 workers flitting about the restaurant with one very confused obviously very new worker on register. Lack of training not his fault. Anyway, a manager buzzes by and I ask if they can't get some more people on register to take orders of the people they kicked out of drive through. The manager is a bit clueless, but asks the person who is general manager to open another register. She instead tells the poor confused newby to take orders. When our order is finally taken, it was a good thing my husband read the receipt, because instead of simply adding what I had asked to be added to my sandwich, they wrote it to take everything else off the sandwich. Finally when we received order had to ask multiple times for ketchup and they didn't put napkins in the bag. So I typically don't review fast food places, but I had to this time around. We had stopped at this Wendy's on our drive back to Miami from Washington DC. Fast food joints were our go to for the drive up and back and they did their job at appeasing our appetite. Now, what stood out to me was the level of hospitality demonstrated by Tania. My father ordered some food (and mind you we stopped at different Wendy's stores several times on the drive up and back) but they didn't attend to us the way the staff at this Wendy's did. I had to take the time to recognize Tania, the attendant/cashier because upon me returning from the restroom she kindly smiled at me, complimented me, and even went as far as offering to make a new 10 piece chicken nugget for me. My dad had ordered one and I wanted to order second one (I have quite the appetite ^_^...girl's gotta eat) and she graciously offered to make a fresh one as she said most likely to the first one was already cold. I never in my life have ever encountered any person at a fast food restaurant that offered to give a customer a fresh batch of something. She literally took the concept of fast food and turned it on its head. She should be working at a full volume restaurant with that level of kindness and consideration. I then asked her what her name was and told her I do Yelp and explained how it work. I told her I would do a shout out for her because she deserved it and you can see her pictured there. Also it's worth nothing that the bathrooms at this Wendy's were pristine! I even stopped to take a selfie (which I rarely do as I'm not much of a selfie person...more like a group photo type of person which I guess would be considered a "groufie"). I don't know. All I know is that her smile was contagious as was her kindness and I had to recognize her for that. It made our pit stop in Richmond, VA that much better! Thank you Tania for your service! On Feb. 15, 2024 I ordered a single combo with a substitution of a baked potato for the french fries. After a longer than normal wait, I was given a bad that contained the burger, the baked potato AND FRENCH FRIES! I told the server that she must have given me the wrong order because I did not order french fries. Her response was to remove the french fries and hand me back the bag. Since my order was now correct, I took it. Later I reviewed my receipt and found that I had been charged for bot the potato and the french fries that they took back! I was never offered a refund for their mistake! I complained on the Wendy's website and got a lame response that did not include any apology or a refund! Wendy's ripped me off! Who would have thunk it!? Wendy Salad Say What? Yes I didn't go to Wendy's for burgers, or any of their other treats. I'm addicted to the salads, especially the apple grilled chicken and the strawberry grilled chicken. They're both delicious. They both have either candied pecans or almonds, bacon ( you can ask them to remove), they add onions for me because I love onions on my salads. They also have this lemonade that is to die for ( this is not really diet worthy, wink). The lemonade comes in a few flavor's, but my favorites are strawberry or tropical. Yummy. The lemonade is not fresh squeezed but it tastes like it to me. I have only had luck with the preparation of my salad at this location, unfortunately. I tried salads at a few other locations of Wendy's and the experience has been pretty disappointing to say the least. I recommend you try the half salad if you are at a different location. Trust me I purchased in Chesterfield, Richmond and a different Henrico location and it was lousy. Also the price you pay for the half salad and the size is cheaper than most restaurants give you and charge you for larger meals. read more

Finally ordered breakfast from Wendy's! Ordered through the app and picked it up through the drive thru. Super efficient and easy experience. Also got a free maple bacon chicken croissant for using the app! The honey butter chicken biscuit stole the show this AM. Super sweet and buttery with a nice piece of crispy chicken. Their season potatoes were crispy with good flavor. The frostycinno was not the greatest and biggest disappointment. So, I went here for a quick dinner tonight and couldn't have made a worse mistake. The customer service at this location SUCKS! They're not friendly at all. The staff act as if you're bothering them. I went inside and it looked like the person who was supposed to clean the dining area wasn't there. As I went to get my drink from the freestyle machine, I noticed lots of gnats or flies flying around. As my drink was pouring, one flew right into my cup! I got another one and after I filled it, I looked around the area a little more closely and noticed they were all around the tops as well. There were even some on the wall, dead and alive. This Wendy's location is the absolute worst one around. First of all I didn't get my receipt. I was a drive-up customer. Secondly on my way to work I find out that the fries were half cooked and the rest were not cooked at all! The window service was slow to give me my card back. Once they did the person at the window went away. Someone else brought my food bag and set it at the window. I stopped by this Wendy's on the way back to DC from Sandy Hook, just outside of Charlottesville. We were just in the mood for Wendy's and decided to get off 95 to make the stop. It turned out to be an interesting choice. We got there around 11:15 so about 15 minutes after they opened. I think there were 3 employees there manning the entire space, and the service reflected that. They must have been short staffed because it was right after New Year's. First, the employees were extremely polite once they waited on us. We were in there standing at the register for about 10 minutes before we were acknowledged, though. The food was fresh and made well so it counters the weird service enough. If you end up at this Wendy's just make sure you come a little while after they open when they are all staffed up. I stopped here with my friend on the way out of town on 7/20/12 at around 6:30. There were literally only 2 other customers in the dining area--one was eating in the corner and the other was waiting for his food. The rude, unprofessional employee behind the register just stood there making small talk with the waiting customer and completely ignored me and my friend. We stood there a solid 10 minutes before our order was taken, and we only ordered a couple of burgers and fries. She was deadpanned and seemed to hate her life about as much as we hated her horrible service, and then told us we'd have to wait for our fries. 15 minutes later, no exaggeration, the fries were "hot and ready" and we grabbed our stuff and left. So, now we were almost 30 minutes later leaving town just because we wanted to stop at Wendy's and grab a couple burgers at a fast food restaurant...and then when we went to eat the food, not only were the burgers cold, but the fries were cold too! How are you going to say we need to wait 15 minutes for fries to finish and then give us cold, nasty fries?? FYI: we will literally never, ever eat a Wendy's again because of how horrible the service and the food is now at gross locations like this one. Rude staff, cold food, and poor quality ingredients... (my "onion slice" was a single ring of onion that was just as cold as the rest of the burger) Thank God for Cookout. It's cheaper, it's always hot, the employees are courteous and well-trained, and everything is always delicious. I'd suggest you check out their business model before you lose even more business. This is not only the slowest Wendy's I've seen, but the slowest fast food place I've been to in general. Every time my brother and I go here, which is typically in the evening, they always tell us their frosty machine is broken. I can understand maybe every now and then, but's it's every single time. I had to wait one time at least 20 minutes in the drive thru from start to finish, and I always wait but that was the longest which is ridiculous. Plus I couldn't even go inside to order because the dining room was closed, so I had to go into the drive thru. There was even one night not long ago where my brother had gone and nobody was talking on the drive thru intercom to take our order even though there were a couple cars still in the parking lot, and they were about an hour and a half from closing time. read more

I waited for 12 minutes (yes, I timed it) in the drive thru line...6 for the car ahead of me to finish their order and 6 of being ignored with the exception of a very perfunctory "just a minute" at minute 4 of being at the speaker. This has got to be the worst Wendy's in Central, VA. I stopped going there a long time ago. The drive through always takes 20 minutes no mater what time I go. They always tell you to pull up and they will bring the food out to you but I always wait 10 minutes and have to go in and ask where my food is. I one time ordered a baconator and when I got home they forgot the bacon. I called the store and no one answered and I drove down there and showed them the burger. HI! A group of had stopped here on the way back from a conference in Richmond VA. We walked in and it was not crowded at all (about 11:30 am). The place was extremely clean!! all the tables were clean, and the ketchup, salt/pepper/ ,lids, spoons, straws, etc.. bar was 100% stock and no trash was to be found anywhere. The people was were behind the counter were extremely polite (Like you see in the commercials!). I ordered the Baconator (First time ever), (Three patties, 6 strips of bacon. and Double Cheese.) and a large order of hand-cut fries. The service was so quick! I sat down at the table. Let me tell you, The Cheeseburger I ordered looked like it could have been in commercial or an add for a Magazine. Nothing was soggy, or falling off, like you usually get. I took one bite, and the flavor from everything combined was fantastic. Now I really do believe that Wendy's does FRESH every time! I was in shock. The fries were delicious and piping HOT! Everything was perfect! after i finished my meal, I waled back up to the counter and ordered a Chocolate Frosty Milkshake. Again I was not disappointed in the least bit. I told the manager that I was very impressed with the establishment, service, how clean everything was, and how quick the service was. This was the first Wendy's I had been to that blew me away. Stopped for lunch. Was in the mood for a burger, so I ordered Dave's double and a large drink. The food was ready by the time I got to the window and the burger tasted good. Paid $5.49 for the burger and $2.49 for the drink. I can kind of except the burger for $5.49, but the drink at $2.49 is a no go for me. I would have given 4 stars if it wasn't for meal being over priced. I am sorry to say but I will stick to Chicfila. I can get a sandwich and drink for $5.70 instead of $8.70 read more
