Ordered on line for pick up. At the drive thru informed about picking up online order. Told to pull up to the window. Waited about 5 min and asked to be park around the corner and someone will bring out the food. Waited 15 min no one came out with the food. Went into the restaurant and asked the reason for the delay and was told they are cooking chicken and takes 10 min to cook. Asked why is the wait needed when we placed order on line 15 min prior, they could not gave me any reason!!!! And no apology once and for all!!! read more

Went here for a bite tonight. We were in no hurry so decided to eat inside. I ordered a single patty w/ cheese but no pickles or mustard. My wife got their 4 for $4 combo. My order came, the patty was old & cool, the fries were not fresh but slightly warm.. definitely not freshly made. The same thing happened with my wife's meal. I brought my burger back to complain & they made another which was hot & fresh except the bun was stale & crumbly. (The wife ate hers so fast I had nothing to return for them to remake fresh. Bottom line this place is terrible! I will never go back after this visit!! (This is not a threat but a promise! Even if given another meal free for a year!!) My visit was on June 24, 2022 around 9pm. I wasn't given a receipt or offered one. The only thing offered as compensation other than the replacement menus items was a free medium frosty. (We ordered a strawberry one) I didn't care for the frosty either. It had a decent strawberry flavor but it tasted like it had a lot of air in the mix & appeared to have a foamy consistency! I SURE HOPE I DON'T GET FOOD POISONING FROM THIS VISIT.. I should know in 24 - 48 hrs. If my past experiences are any kind of a guideline? Wish me luck!! read more

If you want the possibility of catching the Coronavirus or Covid 19 virus, then visit this place. We stopped in to grab breakfast, and encountered a group of people who were running this place as if it was some back alley liquor house. The young lady (heavy set African American) that took our order got upset because we asked for fresh food; not only that, she complained about making our food fresh since it was 45 minutes away from the take down of breakfast; and she was coughing nonstop. She literally acted like her name was Wendy! In addition, she was coughing all over the place trying to run front line and drive through at the same time. The manager even allowed the door to stay open letting bugs fly all into the place, and there were no deliveries being brought into the store. She was also walking around changing trash with no gloves and talking on her cell phone....not professional at all. The manager was a black female with a strong northern accent. She literally came back into the store complaining as well about dropping fresh food for our order. To put the icing on the cake, someone even had their child in the office sitting at the desk while they were working. This place isn't a daycare and I am sure if Wendy knew this, you wouldn't have a job. Your backline workers seem to work hard, but with little direction and supervision....all with confused looks on their faces. The Wendy's brand wasn't founded on your principles because you are causing this place to look bad. From a health standpoint, we will never visit this place again due to all of the coughing all over the place. The young lady shouldn't have been allowed to work under those conditions with the possibility of causing others to get sick and die. I will be reporting this place to a few state officials to be re-evaluated. When you served us, you really pissed off the wrong people. When we left, we were literally concerned about our health being compromised. read more

Tbh this was the best dinner and a show performance I've ever been to at fast food restaurant. The wait was long, but that was because there was only one guy packaging and taking orders. Everyone else was wandering the store. Despite the long wait, we were throughly entertained via the sketchy activities in the parking lot. He was armed with a wrench in case anything went south. The manager eventually came outside and scared a group of people away, much to my disappointment. One dude was just dragging a hose around with a cigarette in his mouth. We got our food. It was warm and probably fresh. The strawberry frosty was scrumptious and I can tell it was made with love. I would honestly urge you to visit this wendy's if you have some free time. read more

Very conveniently located off the highway. No one else in the drive thru at 4:30pm on a Monday. Actual restaurant was a little challenging to approach due to road construction-- just use caution. Only person in line to order in drive through so no wait. Left one of my three sandwiches out of the bag and gave me no receipt. Called to address multiple times but no answer and last attempt someone just picked up and hung up. Thought I'd try out the new breakfast they have advertised around 8 am. Tried to pull into the drive thru and it's blocked by a work van. Waited 10 minutes for it to move, when I get to the drive thru i see it's blocked partially by a manager in a black polo puffing on a cigarette while he curses like a sailor to another coworker as he's emptying coolers full of ice directly into the drive thru lane. That smoke went directly into my car and killed my appetite. I just pulled off. This is the single worst customer service experience I've ever had, but its typical of this location. I have represented franchisees, and negotiated c-store/ QSR (quick serve restaurant) co-brand agreements, so writing this is painful. Nevertheless a chain is only as strong as its weakest link and for the sake of good Wendy's franchisee, the mark should be pulled. On the evening of March 2, I stopped for gas at the Speedway station, which shares space with this "Wendy's', bought food at Wendy's and sat down waiting for a severe thunderstorm to pass. The dining room at 'Wendy's' closes at 10, but by 9:50 the manager had locked the door, even though it leads to the restroom shared with Speedway. I prepared to leave, needing to use the bathroom and waited while the staff was doing other things. After 5 minutes I asked to be let - at which point I was informed I could go out the side door, walk around the building - which has no canopy - IN A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM, and get to the bathroom - which is 2 steps from the prematurely locked door. On top of that, anyone with eyes could see that I was limping due to hip condition. I objected to this, and asked to be let out, at which point the manager yelled at me, calling me a 'big baby' and lied, claiming it was past 10:00 saying "I have sandwiches to make'. At that point, 9:56 I broke my out cell phone and started taking a video, to send to Columbus HQ along with still photos of the raging storm. Locals tell you not to go here - read the other reviews , service is invariably slow, their mistakes are your fault even on kids orders', but this latest stunt is so far below standards of common sense and common courtesy, that for the sake of their brand and franchisees who value their goodwill, corporate needs to pull the plug. There are many other options on Exit 312 - Smithfield is next door, Cook Out offers better value than even the successful $ 4 deal - avoid this place like the plague... you won't find Southern hospitality here. read more

I stopped at this Wendy's yesterday. I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich. I waited 45 minutes, and then I went back to the counter with my receipt because I thought they had lost my order. They showed me the screen, and it still had my order on it. They told me there was a delay with the chicken. So I waited another 45 minutes and while sitting next to the counter I heard multiple other people ordering chicken. No one told them that there was no chicken or there would be a long wait for the chicken. Eventually I threw my receipt in the trash and left (didn't bother trying to get a refund). Then I went to the Cookout down the street. Their service was fast and the food was good. Just a suggestion for this Wendy's if anyone reads this: Tell the customer if you know their order will take extra long. Also consider offering free items to customers who's orders were messed up. Really anything would be better than ignoring the customer whose order you messed up and hoping they go away. read more

I live a few miles away and this Wendy's is convenient for me to go to as I commute up and down I-40 daily. However, it is consistently the slowest fast food restaurant I have ever been to!! I understand that things happen SOMETIMES which can cause delays but not every freakin time I go! The food is good but the service is poor and apparently they have to catch, butcher, and cook the cows for the amount of time that it takes to get your order. I now visit Bojangles right down the road more often because they understand FAST food. Love the food but really need to figure out personnel issues to get quick service. read more

I came to this wendys through drive thru nd it was the worst experience ive ever had at a fast food restaurant. I remember ordering a sandwich combo and a small chili and I sat there for almoast 20 mins. once I got my order there was no napkins and no sppon for my chili and I got out the car to go inside to grab what I needed and they locked the door in my face. i get y car and go through the drive thru again and I'm waiting again for 10-15 more mins. I get to the window and tell why the cashier gave me a glance and didn't open the window for another 3 mins.? i ask for my spoon and napkins and i put in my bag , at this point already mad, and she says "anything else" with an attitude... i wrote the company about this and never received a response. This Wendy's wins the prize for the worst Wendy's I have ever been to. We have had problems in the past but felt today I had to finally write this review. Went through the drive through, ordered lunch to take home. We ordered small chili and sandwiches, got home to find no crackers or spoons to eat the chili. Good thing we went home and had what we needed. Hope corporate can do something to fix this one, it certainly has problems. By the way Wendy's is one of pur favorite places to eat, but we will not be visiting this one any time soon. read more
