Service is about what you'd expect from a fast food spot, nothing bad, just standard. I'm pretty consistent with my go-to order: a Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger, chili, and fries (because yes, the fries are for dipping!). Lately though, it feels like Wendy's burgers have lost some of that juicy goodness they used to have, and the chili has become pretty mediocre. I get delivery through Grubhub and if the restaurant gets your order wrong, Grubhub will not return the order. I think Wendy's hamburgers are the best. I love their chili, some of the time. It is hard to get a good container of chili twice in a row, from 1201 W. Patrick St in Frederick, Md. The menu should read " bean soup with a trace of beef stock". It is obvious whomever is preparing the order does not stir the pot. I called to complain to the mgr one time and the woman said the mgr is not in the store, I asked when could I call back and she said I don't know when the manager will be here. If it were just for the food I would have given 5 stars. Also, preparers are careless when they pack the order. It is rare to get crackers and hot sauce with my order. It is always listed on Grubhub and on the receipt but I seldom get both. They need a better manager! read more

i never review places cause i've worked fast food and know how these reviews work. but this was wild. i placed my order at the intercom and everything was fine. but when i pulled up to the window to pay, i watched the guy who took my order type it into the computer. what was he doing when he took it over the intercom? then he had to ask me what i ordered again and proceeded to not understand my order 3 separate times. finally he stopped speaking over me to let me tell him what i wanted. guy was very nice, english was clearly not his first language. maybe just not suited for taking orders. minus one star for every time i had to tell him my order after i already placed it at the intercom read more

This Wendy's served us the best Apple Pecan salad that I have ever had. The chicken was spiced correctly and was moist. I think everything was fresh. The apples were fresh, as was the lettuce. Even though we waited a little longer, it was worth the wait!!! read more

The french fries were on special for any size fry for one dollar! The fries were hot, fresh, filled, and delicious! The soda refills are a real pain, though. You have to go to the counter to have them fill it up. Actually, they give you a new cup each time, which causes more waste in the environment. Apparently, they don't want to spread germs by refilling the same cup. Weird. The service was extremely slow, too. There was only one girl working the inside counter and maybe not enough cooks. Went to Wendy after work, waited in the drive-thru for over 20 mins before ordering. Was greeted at the first window but before received food, there was a car in front waiting as well. Noticed my drinks and food were made, was handed over to the car in front of me and taken back from the worker. Basically had my food given to another customer which Covid is still going around. More than the workers hand was on my drinks and food bad. Never had an issue up until tonight. Need to make sure and say the order at the second window. Should not have seen my order be given to another person and taken back so it could go directly to me. read more

This is possibly the worst place to ever go to. Next is KFC that's just across from them..but this is a different review lol. Since they rebuilt a new building, you'd think they'd hire better employees but it's still the same shitty people who previously worked there. Customer service doesn't exist, at least the times I've been there. And their food is disgustingly awful. The first time it reopened, my mom and I were eager to give it another try despite its past. The burger was super greasy and the bacon was BURNT. Almost looked black in person. The fries were greasy, soggy, and cooked in old grease. (I forgot to take a picture of it) and never went back. Until we were craving ice cream but chickfila was closed at the time. We came here to get frosty's and was told to wait for a minute at the drive thru. 5-10 minutes later we drove away to the pick up window and no one was working, they were all standing around talking and being on their phones. Everytime I order something at this place, they NEVER put all the condiments on ANY sandwich that I order, for example: I mainly order a crispy chicken sandwich or a spicy chicken sandwich, which comes with lettuce, tomato, and mayo by DEFAULT. But everytime I order one, they ALWAYS "forget" to either add a lettuce or tomato on it, or just leave it plain without me even making a request to leave any condiments out of the sandwich. One day, they had the AUDACITY to put ketchup on my chicken sandwich with NO lettuce or tomato, when I didn't even tell them to do it. This place is just horrendous, and I can already tell this place is horribly managed as well, they just need to fire everybody who works here at this point. Terrible customer service, I've gone to this Wendy's this one for years since I was 6 and ever since it was remodeled the customer service is obviously the one thing that wasn't remodeled was the employees. Food is great but as I order they just say "take your order" or open the window and shoves me my food and drinks and don't ask if I need sauces or anything extra I get it because I worked in this business too but at least towards the nice customers I knew how to treat them with respect. read more

I was in the mood for a Frosty so I stopped by Wendy's. I found this restaurant to be particularly dirty especially behind the food line where all of it is prepared. The staff was not very efficient in taking orders. I stood there for about 10 minutes waiting. Several times different servers came to the counter give previous customers their order And then they would walk away seemingly undeterred by the people Standing waiting to order. WishIng we had read the Yelp reviews for this location before going in and placing our order. We were traveling through (1:00 pm) and just needed a quick bite, but it was far from quick, and my salad came AFTER we were finished eating the rest of our order. Staff looked overwhelmed and it wasn't particularly busy; although a line did form as we waited. I asked for and was given a refund for the salad. The shift manager neither apologized nor cracked a smile, but at least she didn't question my request for a refund. read more

Spicy chicken ? Nope, they give you regular chicken which tastes like a paper towel sandwich. The meat has a rocky petrified wood center from improper cooking. The woman at the drive thru window resembled a wicked witch, and her bossy yelling rather than speaking just makes you wish you were dead rather than sitting there another second. Also - get ready for the cashier to literally scream the "guest count" back to the employees in the drive thru if you go inside. I love Wendy's. But this Wendy's on W. Patrick St. that just got a facelift leaves a lot to be desired. All they did was add lipstick to a pig. Service on 1/25/2020 at 230pm was extremely slow, the staff were rude, and as I sat in the store eating my meal I could hear the manager as if she were standing right beside me yelling at her staff reminding them that she was the boss and they were going to do what she tells them to do or she was going to write them up. That's a really good example to set for your staff...and extremely unprofessional to do with paying customers present. I'm sure Dave is rolling over in his grave. Whoever owns that location should clean house from the top down and start over. I will definitely be satisfying my Wendy's cravings at other locations. read more

Tonight around 8:20, I felt hungry and decided on Wendys. I went to this one against my better judgement. Several previous visits here, I have left disgusted and even without food due to service issues. My food tonight was the worst. Fries that were less than good. My nuggets were cold and the drink watered down. Now the burger, a bacon double stack, was the worst. Cold sandwich, bacon burnt charcoal, the patties dry, thin and gray-black. The only taste was the pickle and condiments. The cheese un-melted. They really have to try to be this bad. The counter service was pleasant, I feel bad she has to work there. Drive thru guy Tray was extremely rude. He gave me wrong order (I paid for wrong order) and blamed me. Then he never credited my card back. I had to ask for it to be credited. We've gotten good from their drive thru before and it seems there's always a problem with the order. Today we got food from the drive thru and they screwed up my burger, which was minor. However, we got home and there were no napkins, no straws for the drinks and I got a sweet tea instead of the unsweet I was supposed to get. We also got a grilled chicken sandwich for my kid, who has allergies, so it was supposed to be plain. Nope. Lettuce, tomatoes, and whatever that sauce is they put on it. Who knows what's in it, and my kid could have a severe allergy. What shocks me is fast food workers want $15-20/hour to put a sandwich together, and this place can't even get that right! I'll give it ZERO stars if I can. If not, I'll begrudgingly give it one star, but ONLY because they make me. I'll never go back to this place. How hard can it be?
