The owner, Rachaad Howard, walked us through all the different types of printing they do at the business. The lounge had a fun atmosphere with music and the possibility of karaoke, but no one in my group was brave enough. Everyone was able to design their own t-shirt to their unique tastes. If you're looking for a new type of event for a birthday or girls night out definitely check it out. We were able to bring in our own lunch for the party.

***** Service ***** Quality…read more***** Value We were looking for a new tailor. I previously went to Lena's in downtown Waukesha. Did some searches and most places were closed and we found From The Skirt Up was still open. We were glad to have found her. She just started the business and is located in a building with a few other businesses, the main doors were locked but calling her she came around to let us in. We had a dress altered and she went about to make the measurements quickly. We also wanted to have a zipper added to the back of the dress. The dress was ready in 4 days and a very reasonable price. If you are in need of a tailor, you may want to stop by. I apologize, I must have deleted other pictures. I'll have to go back and take more at some point.

If you are looking for a great place to unleash your creative side and have fun while doing so,…read morethen look no further! Board Together is a local, family owned business that is run by kind, wonderful people. They are also very helpful and will walk you thru everything, step by step, so that your project turns out perfect. Recently, I came here with a group of fellow law enforcement wives and significant others for a fun night of creativity. We were asked to pick our project ahead of time, so that they could get all of the materials ready for us. So, it was off to the website to view all of the available options. Let me tell you: there are no shortage of options to choose from. Some of the categories include Sports/Teams, States, Holidays, Love, Quotes, Inspirational/Religious, Food/Drink, Military, and a category that's near and dear to my heart: Law Enforcement. You can also make your very own personalized creation. After much deliberation, I ultimately chose to make a Milwaukee Brewers sign which contains the state of WI and the words "Home Sweet Home". Once you have your project picked out, you then get to pick your stain and paint colors. The right color and stain combination will really make your project stand out, so choose carefully! Then, the fun begins. First, you will do some distressing to the wood. After that comes the staining. Once the stain is dry, you apply your stencil. Finally, you apply your paint colors. Then, the moment you've been waiting for: removing the stencil and seeing your completed project. I was so thrilled with how my sign turned out! There really is something about creating these boards that is so therapeutic. I am looking forward to creating more projects with Board Together in the future!

The selection of fabrics is mind boggling! I have since gotten my 10 year old grand niece involved with sewing and she is also now a frequent shopper at so many pieces. I always leave room in my suitcase so that I can buy fabrics. My shop at home does not carry some of the very popular brands like kaffe fassett, or Tula pink. I now can find them very easily here. Her long arm quilting side of the business also produces fantastic results. I took 2 quilts in and the turn around time ended up being quicker than promised. And while I knew going in that it can be pricey, I was surprised that it was not as bad as I was expecting it to be. You won't be disappointed.
