Date of visit: July 14, 2025…read more The name change from "Burlington Coat Factory" hasn't done much to improve the overall appearance of their stores as they look like they haven't been properly organized since 1998. That being said, I had some time to kill in the area and did actually find a gift idea for my mom at a reasonable price. Outside of the security guard that said "Welcome" with a pleasantness that reminded me of Marge's sisters from The Simpsons and the guy that almost ran me over with a rolling rack, there wasn't any employee interaction on the salesfloor and the cashier was pleasant, though I didn't need to hear him refer to someone (thankfully not me!) as a "M*****f****" as I walked up to the register. Good times!

I have not been to a Burlington coat factory in 20 years and I remember why, I never leave with a…read morecoat that I actually like and with that being said let's start the review. I was entertaining the idea of a new coat with a different look so I thought I would stop by and see what they had. The store has that thrift store feel and once again it looks like they stock inventory that is left overs from other stores when it comes to the clothing and shoes. The store is way more than coats and has items for every room and clothing for all ages from casual to dressy. There is a bath section, toys, kitchen, shoes, living room etc and a snack chip isle. I did look at some of the prices and the names on the items which were not bad at all. Tommy Hilfiger and Nike were some of the names on the racks I noticed. If you want to get a leather coat here than you will have to bring your own in, all fake leather that I felt and looked at. This is more of a bargain place for family's to shop for the children for the most part but it would be a great place for a persons first apartment to put together with reasonable art work and such to fill spaces. Well I did walk out with some home goods that I was going to get anyway but no new coat, go figure. The store does have a place in retail but it's geared to a specific shopper.

My first thought was that I accidentally walked into a St Vincent De Paul because that's how it looked, like the one on Hwy 100 next to the Walmart. This was definitely geared to women and children because the men's section was a small coroner of the store. The place looks like they buy anyone's inventory from where ever and then put it on the shelves. This is definitely a smalls store with even less sections than the St Vincent De Paul resale store. There is nothing big here like microwaves, furniture, Tvs etc. As a guy I'm not going to sift through all the clothes looking at the labels trying to find that designer item at a great price like a needle in the hay stack. I jumped into the men's coats rack just to look at a label and price tag to see what they had, $ 29 fake leather made in China. This place might have a place in retail but for men who know what they want and just want to get in and out this just doesn't work and will not be a place I will shop at. The thrift store model has its place, the thrift store and I have no problems with thrift stores but I'm not going to sift through a new merchandise store like a thrift store. This store model just doesn't work for me and I can't imagine going back.

Underwhelming, yes. All Ross locations look sparse and bare when you walk in, ugly white…read morefluorescent lighting doesn't help anything. But I always find something! I shopped almost exclusively here when I worked as Activity Director in a senior living complex, and the ladies always loved my clothing! Comfortable and professional and fun and cheap. I thought TJMaxx had higher prices. I get fun art supplies here too. They have art and knickknacks and home goods and toys too. Sometimes I'll get something else, but usually it's work clothes. I've also had fun picking up a cologne just based on the box, because it can't be sampled. I've liked it all!

The worst possible service we could have received. Definitely do not recommend working with Calico!…read moreThroughout the process (3 full months) they did not order fabric samples (after numerous times asking), once they received the chairs they charged us an additional $650 for foam that was not included in the original estimate, and once we got the final product the legs of the chairs were scraped and scratched (after we refinished ourselves because they wanted to charge $1,000). The staff continuously did not understand why were frustrated and in the end told us they would not give any more money back. The worst customer service and final product. I would recommend going with any other company.

Wow. That's all I can say. I had no idea there was a store like this in the area…read more If I known I could have stopped by here to find fabric to reupholster my furniture, or make some matching throw pillows or window treatments. Calico Corners has some beautiful fabrics in nearly every price point and color. And to make sure the look is complete, there's matching trim, thread and accessories. Although there's fabric in nearly all price levels, it didn't take me long to figure out that the fabrics I liked the best were priced a bit beyond my comfort level. The triple digit cost per yard quickly had me circling to the more budget-friendly line of fabrics that were also beautiful. I spent some time looking at the books and listening to the employees help the other customers make fabric decisions. I was impressed with how well they were able to offer suggestions and assist in the decision making. CC is a type of store that will overwhelm you with options, but there's a friendly face to help you every step of the way.
