This is my new favorite place to hang out! This place will surprise you! It's the oldest yarn store…read morein Wisconsin and formerly a real yarn mill! The current owner of the yarn store, who is often on site, can tell you the history of the mill and store. She's a wonderful conversationalist and you'll just want to grab a hot cocoa and listen to how she's managed the store over the years. The store is filled with beautiful textiles that just make you want to lay down and make yarn snowmen. That's a thing! Right? I love walking through and looking at all the textures and colors. Every corner has something that captures my eye or attention. All the events provide coupons, gifts, and ideas to encourage purchasing at reasonable prices. There's a "secret" room in the neck with discounted yarn. Do NOT miss this special room. There are beautiful choices in that room that allow you to make full projects at reasonable prices The best part though is the coziness of the shop. There are little nooks and crannies in which to sit and create beautiful things. I like to bring my needles and yarn and just sit in the gathering area crocheting while people come and go. The constant movement, chatter, and energy of people around me while my service dog sleeps near my feet feels like a little retreat. It calms my spirit to get in this shop! The shop has events, classes, workshops, and is an amazing community of talented textile artisans eager to share their skills and knowledge. The owner is proud to share the space with community members. She and her staff make this a warm welcoming place to hang out. It's a getaway in the Village. An unassuming little spot that you'll have no reason to seek out but once you find it, you'll never want to leave! People make it wonderful! The yarn and activities make the shop feel like home! Drop in and fall in love with The Grafton Yarn Store. Save me and the dog a seat!

I haven't found…read morea ton of selection with their notions and project bags, but I am very pleased with their yarns: -They have a wide selection of yarns, and I love that they always have sweater quantities in stock and ready to ship out within a day or two. My favorites are Isager, Sandnes Garn, Rauma, Hillesvag, and Jamieson's of Shetland. These are top tier yarn companies that are not the easiest to find online, and I have been so happy they are always in stock at this store. -The shop images are clear and easy to see, and I always find it very smooth and pleasant to shop online. I find myself using their site to compare yarn colors and get complete yarn information all the time since they list everything out & their images are high resolution. -They usually process my order quickly, and a huge bonus that they offer 10% certain brands and free ball winding. - I always get free shipping, and my order is easy to track and usually arrives within the work week. Overall I highly recommend them!

Amazing staff, exceptionally skilled and caring, are generous with their time and expertise. It is a delightful, cozy space, and if the yarns themselves or the samples displayed don't inspire you to start a project, the wooden tables continuously occupied by knitters (and crocheters, too) will make you want to pull up a chair and begin. Seated around the tables, it always looks like a group of friends have gathered to share time, stories, and craft--yet these are classes. Yes, you can sign up and join the party! And I have. Not only are there classes for specific projects, there are also classes where everyone is working on their own individual projects. Oh, how I love being able to have expert advice on how to read my patterns, fix my mistakes, and finish my projects. I love Three Bags Full, and the passionate, talented people who work there with my whole heart, and I invite you to visit. Support a local, woman-owned business. Take a class (they fill quickly), browse the notions (practical and/or whimsical, just what you need), and treat yourself to some fabulous yarn. Bring a friend, or make a friend when you get there (or both), you'll be so glad you did!
