The Wendy's app is the absolute worst app. I couldn't figure out how to get an offer using the app. The employees at this Wendy's couldn't help me either. They tell me their scanner isn't working. At one point, they said they would give me the discount anyway. I ask the cashier if the scanner is ever going to work? As I didn't understand, if it was a temporary scanner issue, or is their scanner never going to work? Cashier keeps telling me: "I gave you the discount!" over and over again. When all I want to know, is it just not working, or is it never going to be working? So at some point, I say f you to the cashier. He gets all upset, and gives me my money back, and tells me to leave. He tells the other employees not to make my order. I said, no, I want my food. I don't want my money back. I asked to speak to the manager and was told that the cashier is the manager(!). He tells me he's going to call the police if I don't leave. Tells another Wendy's employee that I am harassing him. I said go ahead. All I want is my food. Eventually, I do leave, and gave him both middle fingers on the way out. He gave me one back. I saw him make note of my license plates. I went to another Wendy's and they scanned the offer. No hassles! The Wendy's app is so confusing, as it tells me to: 'Add rewards and offers to your card before scanning at the register!' What card?! During the unpleasantries, I did make fun of the cashier/manager's accent. He needs some anger management training as well as basic English comprehension. read more

When I work in the office, I'm always very excited to get Wendy's breakfast, I live out of town with no Wendy's, so it's a treat for me. I have a break at 10am and Wendy's breakfast ends at 10:30, normally works out great! This location is only a quick 3 minute drive, so I zip over there on my break. Today, I get there and was told they are done breakfast for the day, I respond by saying but your breakfast ends at 10:30, followed by a response of we're done, unless you want to wait for it to be made fresh. I said, yes I'll wait and made my order. When I pulled up to the window to pay, she continued to argue with me and was extremely rude. When I got my sandwich, it was the wrong one and the bread was rock solid. Normally I don't complain but this was so unprofessional, if a company is offering a certain menu to a certain time, then you need to be prepared to uphold the promise! read more

My brother & I just went to this Wendy's & the lady at the drive thru was being rude to us the whole time, saying "oh my god" & she was getting mad at us because we didn't want lemonade as our drinks in our combo's that we wanted them on the side. We went up to the drive thru window she gave a rude look while handing me the drink tray & just dropped it onto my hands. People shouldn't be working at places like these where you interact with people if you are just going to be rude and not nice to customers. read more

Although we didn't eat here and took it to go, I was impressed with the seating area. It's new and seemed clean and not cluttered with packaging. Maybe it's because it wasn't that busy at just after 7PM on a weeknight. There wasn't a line up to order and the food was ready in a short time. The area where you pick up napkins and condiments was clean and well stocked as well. For fast food of burgers and fries, this isn't gourmet but a decent meal. I love the Wendy's near my work. It's a rare treat for me, every few months I'll grab a burger there if I'm having a particularly testing day at the office. The staff are really friendly, particularly if you're heading through the drive through. I usually go with the "Son of Baconator" combo - the full Baconator is a bit much for lunch time! The bacon is always nice and crispy and really sits well against the beef of the patty. I'm a huge fan of Wendy's fries. Another favourite is the Junior Bacon Cheeseburger. I mean it is fast food, so nothing outstanding, but I will say it's way better than a McDs if you're looking for a burger. read more

I had a lunch time fast food experience here and I can't complain. I ordered a chili and ceaser salad through yhe drive thru window. Hot food was hot, cold food was cold, packaged separately. Can't ask got much better than that at a drive thru. Food was tasty. Lots of parking, easy access from surrounding roads. Bo problems with their location at all. read more

I don't often dine at fast food restraraunts for my dinner, as they tend be noisy, offer questionalble food and service complicated by either dated interiors or just down right tacky interiors (Ya like McDonalds ya). However I had the pleasure of visiting this Wendy's location to be pleasantly surprised by a very clean and inviting store. The store is finished in warming and welcome colors with tastefull furniture, the staff are also a nice surprise as they are proffessionally dressed adhorning smiles, appearing intelligent and bright. Staff were very pleasant offering courteous and efficient service .... a welcomed change of late. As to the food, well Wendy's just gets this one right as all their ingrediants are freash and of quality. The tomatoes and lettuce were firm and crispy as fresh produce should be, the meat is just bang on! Completely fresh and 100% beef (notice I didn't say 100% canadain beef? That's a trick to imply 100% beef when it's not), the burger patties where "hot" off the grill and tasted absolutley great. Considering the store's cleanliness, courteous staff, warm and inviting store, the quIt's located on the corner of 184 Street and Stony Plain road in the power center there where there's a Pet Smart and Walmart etc. and I would encourage you to take a stop into this store and enjoy for yourselfality food, competative prices I would say this Wendy's offer's anyone a good value. It's convienantly located in a power center along with store the like of Pet Smart, Walmart, Rona and would recommend this store to everyone that like a freshly made sandwich, hot crispy fries and so on. The customer service here is awful. We ordered our food and were told to go to the front door and wait. We did so and waited 15 minutes. We tried to go into the store to see what was going on, but the doors were locked so we eventually went back through the drive through and waited behind several cars. When we finally get to the window the clerk did not care and seemed irritated with us for coming back to get the food we already paid for. It was ice cold and she told us it was because she couldn't find us. Won't be going to this Wendy's again. read more

My worst experience at any Wendy's, ever. Went inside and ordered a spicy chicken sandwich. We were the only people in the restaurant. I see the employee put a chicken breast into the fryer but yet our food came out prepared just seconds later. I realized that they were premaking another chicken breast for who knows when. In any event the sandwich I received had an ice cold chicken breast on it that tasted like it was cooked hours ago. The bread was stale. To top it all off the minimum wage employees had a smug and arrogant look about them and tried to tell me that it was because the lettuce was cold - oblivious to the fact that I watched them cook another chicken breast fresh so that it could sit and wait for the next guest. I will NEVER go back to this location. read more

This used to be our go to, but there seems to be a bunch of new staff taking orders that are the rudest people I've seen. One guy wanders aimlessly, then when he comes up to take your order he walks away halfway through or just turns to someone in the back and starts speaking in their language. I had to repeat my order three times. Then when I went to pay with debit, it went through but again he had just wandered off, so I moved to the side. I waited about 20 minutes for my order while telling them "it's all sitting on that counter can you guys just put it on the tray?" The kicker was this guy ran after me screaming in a crowded restaurant "you didn't pay! You need to come pay you can't just have that food!" I did pay, not my fault he wandered away from the register. It was so embarrassing, he was yelling at me for not paying and trying to get me to pay again. He realized the receipt was sitting on the debit machine and said "oh, it's right here." No apology no nothing. Never again at this location. read more
