I usually opt for DoorDash, but I decided to drive to my local Wendy's after a long, difficult day. My frown turned upside down because of an employee named Paris at the drive-thru. I have a hard time seeing the menu from my car, and he was incredibly patient while I ordered. He made my lemonade with the perfect amount of ice and let me know the wait was only because he wanted to make sure my fries were fresh and not the last of an old batch. His kindness, tone, and genuine care was so refreshing. We need more people like Paris. Now, instead of opting for doordash, I will making my late night Wendy's trips in person. read more

I was very excited to try the new Krusty crab meal. This is what I ordered: 2 Krabby Patty Meals and a ten piece chicken nuggets first off, there was no krabby party sauce on either burgers AT ALL. Highly disappointed. Second the pineapple frosty is not what it's supposed to look like, it is pineapple syrup and vanilla ice cream. And they don't mix it for you, so it's just looks unappetizing and doesn't really taste like pineapple either. Last they gave us spicy chicken nuggets instead of regular and blamed it on their system, and i asked for regular ones and she refused to get them, which i didn't understand since they are the same price! Went here on July 4, 2025. Fries were so cold that we actually told them we wanted new ones. New ones had no salt. Burgers were barely warm and not done and a mess. Stopped here at 9:00 pm on a Saturday night I Ordered a #3- 10 piece nugget and fry meal and everything was ice cold Nuggets tasted like they were cooked no less that 2 hours ago and been sitting out in the open the fries were just as old. unfortunately me and my boyfriend tried Wendy's for the first time ever about two weeks ago and was served cold fries that tasted as if they were meant for another order, then they decided no fries, and decided to put them in my bag instead of making fresh fries. I just tried it again and the customer service was minimalist at best, we made eye contact to a couple workers and they kept giving weird looks and we had to leave because no one acknowledged us or tried to say I'll be with you in a moment. I would rate it zero stars if I could! I walk in with my family, ready to eat a lovely meal with them. The place looks just fine. Although the customer service, was HORRIBLE. Right after we walked in, they decided to lock the doors. Then we stood in line, there was only about 3 people there, and nobody was at the register. We stood there for 20 minutes, and still nobody came to take our order. Then an elderly couple came walking up to their door, canes and everything, and they wouldn't let them in. We continued to wait for a bit, then two men came up to the door, once again they wouldn't let them in. At this point, I was nauseous and didn't feel like eating anymore, how could you do that to people before you're even supposed to close. In the cold. I asked for no cheese, and they put cheese. I called the place so many times to explain the situation and no answers. If you come here, make sure to reassure with them and check your food because they'll mess it up and have you spent your money. Also drive thru is very very very slow. It's fast food. Better than most, IMHO. The restaurant is newly built, modern, Has a flat screen TV to watch the depressing news, free wi-fi. The food is hot and fresh. Decent service. They are still training. Mostly high school kids at the registers, and they did a great job. Friendly. They have the coke machine with like 100 flavor combos. Waited in line a long time. There were at least 14 cars ahead of me. Can only get drive through which is fine. Pretty busy for nearly 2:00pm. Got my order and peeked in the bag to make sure food was in there. Noticed that the fries were Luke warm. Got home with the food and there was no straw for the soda and the bbq sauce I ordered with chicken nuggets was absent too. Please and thank you apparently is t done any longer either. Will think twice before stopping there again. Also, if the staff is going to wear masks, they don't do any good hanging below the chin. The two people I saw at the window were wearing their masks that way I think kindness goes a long way. I tried to call to let a manager know of these things but my call went unanswered. Remind me never to go to Wendy's on Clairemont for food again, especially at lunch time. Once I got up to the window I saw that there were 4 people behind the counter doing nothing. But before I got up to the window I waited at least 10 minutes to get up to the intercom, at least 10 minutes before they talked to me on the intercom and once I got up to the window, at least 10 more minutes before I finally got my food. All I ordered was one Dave's Double. Period. That was it. Two out of the four people were doing absolutely nothing. They probably don't dare fire anyone because they are having problems hiring anyone other than the ones they have. I worked at McDonalds in my early 20's. We worked our butts off. I only experienced the drive-thru in a fit of desperation after booking a hotel for a festival in a random area and being starving after driving up to town. The building looks new and the menu was easy to read. The squawk box was easy to understand and I didn't have to shout my order. Food was as expected - slightly better than the average fast food burger joint. I ordered fries and a junior cheeseburger off of the value menu. The issue came with waiting in the line after ordering for a considerable amount of time (5-10 minutes) and then receiving food that on the cool side of lukewarm by the time I returned to my hotel about two minutes away. I went to this Wendy's before picking up a prescription at Shopko. I ordered a Dave's Single, medium fries, and a small drink. The person who took my order had a major attitude. "What do you want?" was how I was greeted. I was given the cup to get my drink. When I went to the drink machines, bother were basically out of order. There was a puddle of water on the ground. Napkins, straws, and ketchup were all empty. I went to the counter to see if I could my soda there, but was told they don't have cherry coke behind the counter, so I had to wait 10 minutes for them to change out things to get their coke machines working again. I received my food. The burger was cold. The bun you could tell was stale and it wasn't pleasant at all. After I finished eating at as it was the only thing I had to eat at that point, I went to throw my garbage away, only to find the garbage bins were overflowing with garbage on the floor, and people were just leaving their trays with garbage on top. I approached the counter. When I asked the person if she was the manager, she couldn't give me a straight answer, but then said she was the district manager. I told her about all I had observed. I didn't receive an apology, nothing, just "We'll fix it", and then she just walked away from me. I will never re-visit this place again. read more

Cold cheese and BBQ sauce on a Luke warm burger with a stale bun was so tasty. Fries were cooked sometime the same day, but no risk of burning one's self.
