The positives were quick pleasant service but Sadly they gave me the wrong soda got the replacement but mix was off. My burger was cold asked for replacement which was only slightly warmer. The frosty was actually frozen but seemed very milky chocolate and with ice crystals. The fries were warm but seemed like they changed the oil- bland tasting. It took me over two months to get a refund for a dinner that was never made. Even the manager on shift didn't know how to handle such a perplexing dilemma (??? How do you not know how to refund a customer???). Had to file a dispute with my credit card company to get my money back. No apology given by the manager, no attempts made to make this right. Wendy's - Burgers Near Me - East Greenbush, New York

This is a fine Wendy's at which to dine for a meal of Wendy's-caliber when it's not crowded. If, however, when you arrive, you see maybe 5 or more people in line at the counter, you should be prepared to either be patient or maybe look elsewhere. I arrived for lunch about 11:45. While the woman behind the counter fumbled slightly at the register taking my order, by the she handed me my change my meal was ready. About 5 minutes after that, the lunchtime crowd came in very quickly and before you knew it, the line was almost out the door. The store manager assisted, as he should. But there are good and bad ways to assist, and I felt his choices could have been more effective. For example, the woman who waited on me got my beverage and Frosty herself. The manager simply started yelling for other people to get these things, and I suspect that change of employee tasks caused more churn than good. It continued to get worse over the next 10-15 minutes. The dining area is spacious but somewhat unusually set up. There are booths at right angles to each other, which some people may find awkward. Also there are no tables which are all booth seating; there are several with a booth on one side and 2 chairs on the other. The men's room was clean and well maintained. USE EXTREME CAUTION when parking on the right side of the parking lot. The approximately 6 first spots on the right side of the lot have no cement tire-guards, only a slight rise in the asphalt. Beyond that is about a 3' sloped embankment. If you are not careful, especially after dark, and you go to far, you may be in for a surprise. (Don't bother trying for a lawsuit, I already notified them.) read more

They charged me $16 and change for two homestyle chicken sandwiches and a medium strawberry lemonade and when I told them that was way more than usual they yelled at me in the drive thru. We live across the street from this location and go about once every couple of weeks. The folks working there are always friendly and greet us with a smile. We dine-in and it's always clean and feels fresh. Very often they're sweeping and wiping down tables while we eat, which is nice to see. They've never messed up our order and the fries are always fresh (can't say that about other fast food places in EG)! read more

Wendy's is a very good fast food restaurant, but you need to get the right items. The fries are solid, they used to be bad, but they changed the recipe. Now they are crispy and flavorful. The chicken nuggets are delicious, they are crunchy and seasoned beautifully. The chicken is tender and juicy. The chili with cheese is fantastic. It is honestly probably my favorite chili. It's thin, not thick like I like my chili. It is flavorful and meaty. Also Wendy's homemade crackers are great and they make the chili that much better. The burgers are disgusting. The buns are soggy, the meat tastes weird and the burgers are never cooked right. The price is extremely cheap and the service is fast. Overall, Wendy's is a good fast food restaurant. read more

Smelled like sewer when I went in today after waiting for the drive thru to move for 10 minutes. After waiting inside for another 5 minuted to be helped (I was the only one inside) I was greeted half heartedly. I put in my order, waited yet another 5 minutes only to get my 2 burgers and fries, run out the door since I had to be back to work in 15, and I come to find that the burgers were spicy chicken. I haven't been to this Columbia Trnpike location for a long time. I usually go the the newest in Van Rensselaer Square in North Greenbush. The Columbia turnpike Wendy's is terrible! I ordered a taco salad and a large frosty. When I got to the window, I asked I I could add a large French fry to my order. She said yes and told me 14.00 and some change. Took my card closed window, opened window gave my card back and never offered me my receipt. Because I have no receipt, I cannot call corporate and complain. Then the window opens and the girl flings out the bag with fries and the chili. The bag was dripping wet with grease and the chili was overfilled and leaking all over the inside of the bag. The bag was tearing becuse of the grease and I had to put it on my floor car mat to keep the grease off the seat. Then she opened the window and handed me the rest of the salad. So, I am now driving home and wondering how much food is going to be on my car mat. When I got home, you guessed it, the entire paper bag ripped and the fries and chili spill out onto my mat. I managed to save some of the chili for my taco salad but not the fries. So as I prepare my salad with the rest of the chili on it, I noticed large 1 1/5 " squares of meat. I'm assuming it is beef. Well guess what it was sausage!!! Since when did Wendy's put sausage in their chili!!! It was disgusting! Do they know the danger of someone who may have allergies!!! I'll never eat at this Wendy's again and I think they should shut it right down. This place is pretty bad, most Wendy's in the area are satisfactory, yet this one never fails to disappoint. I came in and the place looks like a mental institution, the gray lights ruined the whole style, it was also foggy, smoky and poorly lit. I went up to order and it took like five minutes before a employee actually visited us at the register. Then we ordered our food, the food was brought to us after about ten minutes. ( isn't this supposed to be fast food? ) Even the cups for soda came late, it took like a full minute to get a few soda cups! When I came back up to get the cups from my table, I asked the employee if they were ours, the only response I got back was a yawn, before she walked back into the kitchen. Our food finally came and the food was nothing like the picture, all the ad's I saw hyped the return of the spicy chicken nuggets, but all it tasted like was just as if it was a normal nugget, seasoned with pepper. The burger I got looked like it was thrown against the wall before I got it, and then their cookies tasted like sand. Went to the drive thru to get a kids meal and a spicy chicken meal. The girl at the window was so in accommodating. Was so rushed to give me a total that she almost made me want to leave. So yesterday I went to the drive through. The man forgot to give me my card back which I didn't realize until after I had gotten back home. So I enjoyed my mail which was very good the french fries were expecially outstanding better than any other fast food restaurant. And then realize that I didn't have my card I searched all over because I am very forgetful I called Wendys this morning and told them that I thought I had left my card there. The man said yes it was me I'm sorry I forgot to give it back to you I have it here in the safe please come back with your ID and I will give it back to you. So I arrived showed some and my ID I watched him take it out of the safe where there were probably a stack of 30 cards that people had left behind not one cent was taking extra out of my bank. I have done the same thing in the past forgot my card at McDonald's needless to say there was hundreds of dollars spent in a 6 hour.
