This Wendy's sucks. Go anywhere else. Do you see the Bojangles beside it?? Go to Bojangles with their ai drive through because it will actually greet you or tell you thank you. Customer service is absolutely terrible, just said pull up without even asking if we were finished ordering and then was frustrated when we tried to finish our order. We pull up to the window and get told "we don't have any ice". How do you not have frozen water?? So our drinks sucked. Had to go to Bojangles to get an actually good drink. Chains are chains, you just never know what will happen when you pick a location - service and quality are all over the place, even with in the same small area like Clemmons. The drive-thru at this spot is incredibly slow, and on this visit I lost my patience with the terrible and on this last, very last, visit incredible rudeness and total lack of civility I encountered at this dumpster fire of a fast food wreck! I entered the drive-thru at just after 10:30, when breakfast service ENDS (see signs on windows with this info) AND lunch service begins! I placed my order and moved up, no other car in the drive-thru line - I paid and sat, then was ask to pull forward, and I ask how long will this take, and was told, "I don't know, we JUST changed over"! Waited 10 minutes (my dumb) was ask to move my car again as more cars joined the unmoving mess! I ask for my money back, and was rudely told by a slim, nasty woman that I'd have to go inside, which I promptly did! When I ask for an explanation of what was causing this problem, the same nasty lady ( who had the audacity to call me sweetheart) said that they were still filling breakfast orders - orders that were placed after mine!!! The shift manager apologized and said the matter would be "handled" - yeah, when fast food pigs fly! Ordered a baked potato and a chili. I've been sick all weekend so was looking forward to this. Well .. another disappointment. I work near this location. A year ago, things were much better (fast, accurate, and not a hassle). I don't know what changed, but there seems to be a shortage of employees (too cheap on labor?). They never have the 1st window open in the drive thru anymore, there is one person doing drinks, orders, and collecting money, and it's a long wait for someone to take your money or give out fps l food. They have also stopped serving breakfast, then went back to serving breakfast at different points (all over the place with decision making). I keep trying to give them chances, but I'm usually just frustrated when I leave. Today, they forgot to put a patty on my double cheeseburger, and I know they didn't make a mistake because I asked for no ketchup and that part of the sandwich was correct. So they somehow messed up getting two burgers instead of 1 on a bun. Fast food is way too expensive to make this sort of mistake. read more

This Wendy's needs to be shut down. I used to love this Wendy's, but ever since 2020 this place has gone downhill even more than it already was. The food is nasty, cold , and I have gotten food poisoning from this food. The employees here are rude and do not know how to count change as the cashier at the window took $20 from me and gave me nothing back when I paid $10 for a meal. The bathrooms here are messy and disgusting. You could not pay me to use a bathroom here. The employees have told me that the frosty machine was broken on several occasions. Oh, where to start. I used to go here all the time, but now I avoid it completely. The last few times I went, there were litterally 2-3 people working. The dining room was closed and the drive through wait was nearly 20 minutes. On top of that, you don't find out until you get to the window to pay to find out that they don't partisipate in the national or regional sales. So, you get a coupon in the mail that you expect to be able to use at the Wendy's down the street, go through the drive through and place your order, only to have them tell you they don't honor the coupon and you have to pay their outrageously high prices. This place is consistently incredibly slow. You will wait forever to be addressed. It seems like they can't handle taking an order while also cashing out a customer at the window, which results in you waiting far longer than you should for "fast food." My husband just tried to go through the line to get lunch and sat for several minutes without ever being addressed, despite there being zero cars in the drive thru. The drive thru is incredibly slow and you'll be lucky if they say anything to you at the drive thru window when you pay and when you get your food. If you want a frosty don't waste your time, it's more likely to be a "melty." read more

Fortunately (or unfortunately) this is one of the few choices near work to have lunch. Had a coupon for two free singles with the purchase of two small sodas and two small fries. We ordered that and one 99c value menu chicken nugget. Total was nine bucks. How can two small drinks and fries be nine bucks? Well the lemonade is two dollars each, the fries were almost two bucks each. And the chicken nugget was 1.49. You have to order the spicy ones for 99c. Was not happy at all. Went through the drive thru at this location this evening and as you know once you're in that line there's not an outlet and you're stuck. I waited in line with several other cars a total of 25 minutes. The person at the first window was polite, nice but the person at the second window didn't speak or say anything.
