Finally tried the Wednesday meal and it was great! At first glance you think well it's just chicken nuggets and fries but let me tell you the black cherry frosty is EVERYTHING! That is the best frosty I've ever had. The meal also comes with a mystery sauce that tasted like the sauce that's on sweet and sour chicken at any local Chinese restaurant but it compliments the nuggets and fries beautifully.

Cold fries with shredded cheese not warmed completely.

Food was cold Cheese on the fries was not melted. It was the shredded cheese type. Asked for it to be warmed up to which they replied they couldn't. Kids meal cheese cup was old looking and cold. This place has been going down hill for some time and they also stopped giving military 10 % discount. Used to be a great place to eat.

Them attempting to get an order right.

The customer service is sub par for one, and it's suppose to be fast food. They paid no attention to customers walking into the establishment. Took them over 20 min to fill a biggie bag order. Worst Wendy's that I've gone to this year. Will no longer stop by another Wendy's we I get hungry. No order what's so ever at this location. Even had employees walking out to take breaks while cooking. Can't believe I stopped there for a quick bite.

Really wanted Cherry Vanilla Coke but all the flavors were out.

Not my favorite location. I went here after work last tonight to grab something quick before a meeting and the drive through line was around the building. I decided instead to go inside thinking it would be faster. I was wrong. They had one person at the register despite there being a line. She was also the person packaging all the meals. I can understand her doing that if they are slow, but during a rush time, they need more people there to help out. The food was good, but I was saddened by my drink. They have one of those machines where you can add flavors to the drinks, but all the flavors were out. I don't go there enough to know if it's a regular thing or not, but hopefully they have someone check when it's out and refill it. Not my worst fast food experience by far, but it could definitely be improved.

Several people had told us how great the food was, so it felt like the perfect opportunity to finally check it out -- and it did not disappoint. From the moment we walked in, every single person working there was friendly, welcoming, and helpful. You can tell the staff works really well together, and that kind of energy makes a difference in the overall experience. We started with the wings and onion rings, which were both delicious and a great way to kick things off. Three out of the four of us ordered the Barburger, while one person got the Company Salad. The Barburger was smashed and cooked perfectly with that great crispy edge you hope for in a smashburger. The Company Salad completely surprised us in the best way -- the salad itself was fresh and flavorful, but the dressing? Absolutely crave worthy. We also tried the regular fries, sweet potato fries, and cole slaw. The sweet potato fries and slaw were a little mediocre compared to the rest of the meal, but honestly, everything else was so good that it hardly mattered. Overall, the food absolutely lived up to the hype. Friendly staff, great atmosphere, and some seriously delicious burgers. Definitely give this place a try.

We stopped in during happy hour and scored a $5 margarita (huge win), and overall the prices are very reasonable. I ordered the original burger and it was incredible--especially with their signature Heavy's sauce. We also tried the onion rings, which I don't usually go for, but these completely changed my mind. They were super crunchy and packed with flavor. And of course, I have to mention--they're pet friendly with plenty of outdoor seating, which is always a huge plus for us. Ambiance is nice and inviting! Inside isn't very big just keep that in mind. This is a must-try spot!

Burgers are a bit "smashed" and had a nice, crisp sear to them and good flavor. Pickles were a gourmet, fresh style and the sauce was like a savory Russian dressing with strong dill flavor. I wish the bun wasn't so buttered but that's a personal preference. The fries though? Top tier. Super crispy but creamy and smooth on the inside, just enough Cajun seasoning and salt to make me want to shovel them into my mouth forever. And the price? An outstanding value for downtown Charleston. $60 before tip for 3 burgers and fries and a drink. Even less if you get there at happy hour. I keep passing by Big Gun and remembering I want to try it when I have already eaten... don't make the same mistake, get in there and give it a shot. If you're getting food, definitely try the blistered green beans, poutine, and the farmer's salad (which is like a Cobb salad/bowl, it's amazing) *but* my all-time fave is the fried chicken sandwich - it's honestly one of the best l've ever had in Charleston. Also, this place is huge so they were able to accommodate my friend's post-wedding party (about 20 people) at the last minute and we had a blast. Everywhere else we tried to go either didn't have the space for us or were closing so it totally made our night! We just made sure to call ahead to check and they were more than happy to have us - the bride was happy so you know it was good :) Bottom line, the Peacock is a local gem hidden in plain sight on East Bay and, as a local, it's become one of my top go-to's in Charleston. You can't beat the prices (seriously), ambience, quality, and awesome staff. They also have live music every week so they know how to keep it classy and lively at the same time. The food at the surrounding tables looked equally incredible; I'd especially recommend the cheese plate and the tuna. As a bonus, there's a nightclub on the second floor that gets lively on weekends, so the fun doesn't have to stop after dinner. The dishes were all decent, but very rich and heavy. So, if you like the feeling of that in your stomach, this place is for you. Our server was nice but a bit officious. Everyone just fits in, no matter if you're the black sheep! Seating is a little limited, but worth the wait. I guess the first person I ran into was a manager, he introduced himself, (legit, "Hi my name is Bryan" and shook my hand!) (Post Script, the handshake is pervasive here, literally both bartenders were introduced to me and both came up and shook my hand.) I had checked this place out from other Yelp reviews and already knew I wanted the Fish and Chips, so after my beer order, I was shocked and awed that without asking, he brought the Malt Vinegar! You know it's gonna be the bomb already! The fish arrived very quickly! Bruh...this fish was legit. A large solo iceberg of fried perfection crested upon a wave of fresh made "chips " and they were clearly fresh made, not the frozen variety. The beer batter on this fish was so good I was in heaven. I thought it might be heavy and greasy, and yet somehow it held only flavor, crunch, and absorbed my Malt Vinegar to perfection. This place is packed with regulars and it clearly seems to attract other service industries personnel. All good signs of a good time! This may have been my first visit, but won't be my last!
