If I could give zero stars, I would. The young lady at the cash register could not have cared less to assist us. We ordered value meals and she asked what sauce we wanted. When I asked what choices I have (I have not been to Wendy's in years.) she literally said "I don't know." That's it. Then she just starred into space. We waited for our order and EVERYTHING was cold. (I'm not sure why we waited for cold food.) It was horrible and my bar is not that high for fast food. We were super hungry, so we ate a few bites of everything, then tossed it. I thought about asking for warm food or talking to the manager but given the service I got, I doubt an actual manager was on duty. I have not called and complained, not do I plan to. I'm just not going back. I don't recommend going to this place. I would have been better off going hungry. read more

This Wendy's has the worst customer service, the worst management, and the slowest operating time of any Wendy's I've ever been to. Today they actually refuse to honor a gift card they sold me 2 months ago and the manager would not budge. Never go to this place they need to go out of business. read more

Live nearby and always enjoyed having this Wendy's here because it delivered on the Wendy's brand promise of "always fresh, never frozen." - food consistently tasted good and good value. Over the last year, this specific Wendy's has significantly declined. I base this review not on one visit... but my last five. Every one of them, equally bad. Burgers literally were hard, dry and I believe they are multiple days old... cooked long ago and just gently reheated. Mine was dry as a board and mostly cold... which shouldn't be the case if they make it fresh and I am eating it in their restaurant. They drowned it in mayonnaise and ketchup (literally buried it) - maybe in an attempt to give it moisture? Cold fries. Bad staff. It's not an exaggeration to say the Caledonia Wendy's is one of the worst Wendy's I have ever visited. I will never go back to this Wendy's - especially now that Culver's is in town...and Culver's is maintaining a very high level of quality. This Wendy's experience is SO bad, it makes me question the entire franchise. It's that bad. Being brutally honest because management - no, ownership - for this location needs to radically (not gently) rethink how they are running their business. Wake up call. This was the fastest service I've ever gotten at a fast food place. I placed my order and it was ready in only a few minutes. Everything was fresh too, my chicken sandwich was too hot to eat right away. The lobby was very clean, which must be difficult to maintain as they have a carpeted floor. I wish there was a -1 star. I went to Wendy's, anticipating a "fresh" salad. That, to me, means GREEN lettuce, not brown! It used to be what you could count on from Wendy's! I waited in a very long line for over 15 ("fast food") minutes. When I placed my order, he wasn't listening, so I had to correct him, that NO I was not ordering an additional $4.95 sandwich, but chicken on the salad. My total was $7.62, and I got back to my office with "my lunch", only to discover brown lettuce, and for $7.62, there wasn't even a full cup of brown lettuce in the bowl. I don't know what's happened to the integrity of the Wendy's corporation, or if in fact, this is a franchise, why aren't there more quality control standards? I don't want a "coupon" to go back and get the same treatment. I want my hard earned money back! read more

Went there for a quick bite tonight for my daughter and wife. CLOSED at 8:50. Supposed to be open until 11:00 this evening. Previous experiences were hit and miss. Won't be heading back anytime soon. Don't expect much from fast food, but do expect them to be open. read more

I don't recommend this place at all. They weren't busy at all, one car in line besides us and they still messed up mine and my wife order. They got her salad wrong and totally forgot my sandwhich. I can not say enough about this location. This is by far the best Wendy's I've ever been to. I live in Caledonia so I have frequented this location many times and every single time they have been friendly and fast. There doesn't appear to be a huge turnover in employees like the horrid Golden Arches down the road. The women who work during the day appear to genuinely enjoy their job and I have witnessed them be kind to their employees never degrading. I have been so impressed that I have mentioned to my daughter that if she is going to get a part time job I'd like her to check them out. Easily one of the "better" of the fast food picks in Caledonia. I have been going here for years, and have never been disappointed. Staff is very friendly, the quality of food is great, and it seems very clean inside. I've never had my order messed up which is great. Caledonia Wendy's: I have never had a worse experience in my entire life. My order was completely wrong on 01/16/2018 @ 6 pm. When I tried to tell him what we ordered.. He stated "I'm not letting that walk out of here because there is a price difference.. " I said I'm not concerned about the price and handed him my credit card.. I just wanted what I ordered.. The worker became argumentative and disrespectful. He figured out that they made a mistake and dismissively handed me a burger as if I was irritating him. I called the store manger that night and asked for the GM contact info.. She stated "I'm not giving that to you." I shared my complaint with her.. She stated "what do you want me to do, yell at him". I asked for her first name.. (so I could pass it along). "Sir.. I'm not giving you my first name." I later called back and asked for clarification.. that she would not give me the general managers contact information.. not an email.. not an address. Her reply was "no sir, I talked to him, but I am not giving you any contact information. He calls here once in awhile.. I don't event talk to him" . I was so angered that I wrote two complaints on the company website.. I left my contact information.. My full name.. They never attempted to even call me back. I've been a patron of this Wendy's for more than 10 years.. I have been amazed by some of the past employees and how positive my experience has been.. Neither Me or my family will never spend another dime at the Caledonia Wendy's. To be honest... I am still in disbelief that this all occurred. you can't make it up. Very sad.. read more
