I would give zero stars if I could. The service is always slow. I went there to buy a burger. The lady at the cash register, has an i don't want to be working here face, leaves while people were waiting in line. I see that my food is ready but it is on the counter and waiting to be put in a bag. There are 3 people in the back, one is standing there doing nothing, one is making nuggets for himself and the other one is standing over the frying machine. I asked the guy who was making nuggets (for himself), can I have my food and he asked me I don't know can you? I told him the is my food on the counter and just waiting to be bagged. Unfortunately, the customer service isn't up to par. The customer service/ professionalism needs a lot of improvement. Joking around to much which customers is inappropriate to a certain extent and the careless attitudes will cause customers to want to come back. You never know who is coming in the door, so professionalism is very important. The appearance inside the restaurant can be a lot better as well. I much prefer Wendy's food to its neighboring McDonalds, however, I've given this fast food joint three tries and each has been extremely disappointing. The employees at this Wendy's are extremely incompetent and very rude. There hasn't been one occasion in which they didn't get something in my order wrong, and when I politely tried to correct them, they laughed it off and intentionally took extra time to fix the mistake. On one occasion, the cashier was cursing out a previous customer after she had left the establishment and using profanities in front of other customers. The level of unprofessionalism is horrendous. This is the worst Wendy's I've ever been to. I go to Wendy's probably about once a week. I came to this Wendy's once and my experience was so bad that as of now I will never set foot in another Wendy's again. The manager here is so nasty. She is rascist and a liar. I don't think it was Wendy's intention to think small. When Wendy decided on this location, I think they wanted bigger, and each time I visit this place I hear those voices. Their street level is nothing to write big about. Weeks later, I saw the upstairs dining area, its comfortable up there and at times helpful, but remember when schools out, it packs in. The prices here are understandable, its 86th St. Bayridge, not Hylan Blvd. Staten Island where it's low cost. At any Wendy's their Chili is always a big hit. Wendy has steep rivals here over 10 other major fast restaurants in a 2 block area plus coffee houses. Having viewed this competition. 4th avenue does not keep up to Wendy's and I bypass most of it. read more

Wendy's is just entirely disgusting !!! My boyfriend use to work there and they fired him because he threw away cups after they fell on the floor ,the shift supervisor cared about the food cost so much that he terminated my boyfriend for caring about a sanitary work environment . The employees attitude is HORRIBLE AND THE MANAGEMENT IS HORRIBLE !!!! They never have ketchup or napkins and the bathroom on the first floor forget about it ,it's gross .drug addicts in the bathroom shooting up . I've seen a nest of roaches by the frosty machine in the corner and the rats are playing soccer in the upstairs dining area . There is a subway around the corner from Wendy's so the rats breeding in there is ridiculous . They rats are just chilling with customers like nothing is wrong . On 09/27/2019 I was waiting for a bus (B1) with my girlfriend when I noticed a young man with his dog lying beside him sitting in a doorway next to Wendy's (420 86th. Street, Brooklyn, New York. It was clear to me that the man was homeless? He wasn't asking anyone for money or food so I gave some money to my girlfriend to give to him...he was very thankful and she asked him if he wanted anything to eat or his dog and he declined. The whole time we were there employees kept coming out and staring at the man and his dog and were laughing as well. The man never once posed a threat to anyone and the dog was as sweet as could be! This action by the employees kept up for several minutes until one of the employees opened the door to where the man was sitting and forced him to move....which the man did without ever getting angry, the mans dog didn't show any aggression....just got up and wagged his tail and the employee even took the mans chair he was sitting on! This behavior by the staff at that Wendy's was deplorable, mean and cruel! How horrible can people be? How can people walk around and feel happy and grateful while this day is Hell for so many other people? Honestly, what sort of people are we becoming? Maybe the quick response to moral breakdown is to appoint committees to make new codes to guide our ethics? But we don't fail because we lack codes...we fail because we lack character! The food is good and fresh like always but it's what I witnessed in terms of service today that prompted me to write this review. A man ahead of me placed an order, I then placed my order, gotten my food, sat down and started my meal. Half way through my meal, the man still didn't get his food, at this point it was over 20 minutes since he ordered. He was clearly agitated and inquired about his order status and was then given his meal in about 2 minutes, upon double checking he noticed the order was wrong, asked it to be corrected and would paid for the difference, but the employee said in a loud and edgy tone "what do you want?!", things took a dive. The man have every right to be angry and he did, when a simple order wasted an unnecessary amount of his time, then a manager appeared and tried to correct the issue. The man waits another 15 minutes, then another employee asks him what he is waiting for, the man instantly went into disbelief and said "I already told him!" Some of the customers coming into the store thought he was making a scene, I felt so sorry for him, if the first employee could have just stayed clam and let him finish ordering then none of the aggravating scenes would have happened. Maybe wendys need to coach the staff more in terms of professional service, I doubt wendys would be the man's first choice again when he thinks about burgers, even I'm having second thoughts of visiting wendys again. If you want to hang out at a school cafeteria, this is the location. I took a walk into this location and ordered my food. The environment felt like high school students who cut class and put on work uniforms. While waiting for my food, I witnessed a worker who came in for there shift smelling like marijuana. Another work rapping and banging on the counter and lastly another worker tried to "hit" on me. The workers are not respectful, use vulgar language and lack customer service. After fifteen minutes of waiting, my frustration increased because they gave my order to another customer. I told the cashier and gave her my name and she even gave the wrong name. I didn't receive no apology, only a "my bad" term. When I got home, I realized my order wasn't correct and they forgot a part of my order. Its a shame how franchise restaurants lack in the area of management and its increasing. I go to Wendy's occasionally. Its not the food but the people managing the food. I went to this location to grab some burgers for my family. I get to the cashier I see a sign that says 4 for 4 so I ask the cashier so you get all that for 4 dollors is that a regular size bacon burger. She say very nasty it's watever it says on the sign ( so it's a Jr bacon burger, nuggets , fries and soda) so I ask for two of those. And then I begin to order a baconator meal she rudely says what kind of sause do I want with the nuggets she sucking her teeth rolling her eyes. So I answer her. Then I tell her what kind of soda I wanted she interrupted me and said what else do I want. Now I'm getting upset. I ask her did you get the baconator meal n again try to tell her the drinks. She yells at me to look at the receipt and it will tell me . Now I asked for a manager. She says she not there. So I then ask her to add a bacon cheese burger but not a meal just the burger. I get the receipt. She gave me a meal even though I asked her for just burger. And threw the whole order rolling her eyes and suckling her teeth. So I ask her to please fix it that I only wanted the burger she said I'd have to wait for the manager and she doesn't know when she will be back. So I'm just over it. But when I check my bag the bacon cheese meal is not there not even just the burger (like I wanted) . So now I'm livid. I'm gonna call the cops. But guess who appeared once I said cops. The manager she checks my receipt sees my food is missing . Apologies for the mistake her the workers nastiness. She takes the meal off. Cheaked my bag to make sure everything ok. I get home no bacon cheese burger still charged but she never gave it to . Or ketchup that I also asked for. Straws were with napkins so I got myself. If my so wasn't so excited for Wendy's I would of walked out after the eye rolling and sucking her teeth ahhhh!!!! Never in my life and I know how to order food I was a,waitress for 25 years . Went for a BBQ ranch salad after the gym around 11 pm the workers there did not say anything or asked me anything but "size?" And "drink?" Good thing the food was hot the only one that was very sweet and nice was the guy handing out the food. Maybe they should switch him to the front and send the other fat kid to the back.
