So, your on the road it's Saturday evening and the weather sucks, where do you go? Well, you end up at Wendy's for some hot and juicy. Since it's pouring rain and watching water constantly stream for 2 straight hours , we'll forget the drive-thru it's time to go in. Ok, then again I have a hard rule, whenever I go to a fast food chain I go inside to check the place out as many are candidly, either filthy or just plain bad. Now for this location, Inside, bathroom is ok, not the best but passes muster. Go around to the counter, three young women and a young man were gossiping by the drive-thru window. The young women actually, yes actually made eye contact with me and slid behind the wall to avoid doing their job. After another 60-90 seconds the young man finally came over to take my order. He was fine but overall communication was not his forte' I noticed two mature women in the back at the grill. Again, eye contact but no talk instead they seemed pissed at the world. My order was correct though the fries were so drenched in salt to keep my BP from going to stroke levels they went uneaten while driving up the road. Most Wendy's I go to are better than other fast food chains less Chic-Fil-A but this location needs some work. Surrounded by one of the busiest truck stops in Georgia some proper management and training in customer relations can make this location a gold mine. Can't say I've ever seen a slower group of fast for employees in my life. I watched my food get bagged, then waited another 5 minutes while the kid walked in circles to get a fork and napkins before finally putting them in the bag to hand it to me. To make matters worse, the manager was standing with her butt against the fryer staring at the prompter screen the entire time while 2 other employees argued about what they were doing after work. Since I work down the road from this Wendy's, I tend to stop in from time to time. However, I only continue to do so because of the convenience because it's surely not because of the food that's often less than fresh or the service that always seems rushed and impersonal even when there are only 2 other patrons waiting. Tonight was particularly disappointing because after ordering a BBQ Ranch Chicken Salad and driving home, I discovered that I am actually going to eat an (clearly labeled) Apple Pecan Chicken Salad (minus the pecan packet) with BBQ Ranch dressing - and it makes me very sad because after working all day, I was actually looking forward to a nice BBQ chicken salad. Absolutely ridiculous as soon as I walk in, I realize that there is nothing to children working in the store. One gentleman was off the clock and was still in the back kitchen area plan by throwing things at one another yet I still order it took the "on "manager to finally come up and take my order. Once I receive my food, everything was completely ice cold when I put it into the chicken nugget it literally was frozen in the middle. I asked her if she could remake my food and she informed me it was gonna take no longer than three minutes 12 minutes later, I finally just asked for my money back as the kids were continuously still playing, throwing stuff at one another in the back of the kitchen I will never step foot in this Wendy's again The managers name was Gabriella who look like she could not be anything over 18 read more

Was planning to order inside, but the dining room was closed. 8:02 PM. I could see people inside. Went through the drive thru. Ordered a small chili, sour cream and chive baked potato, and a chicken sandwich. After paying at the first window, I asked for my receipt. Was told I would get it with my food. When given the bag, there was no plastic ware, no napkins, no straw for the drink. I didn't realize till I got home, that there was no butter, sour cream, or salt and pepper for the potato. There were also no crackers for the chili. Not sure about the sandwich. It was for someone else. read more

Wendy's Braselton HWY 53 5/20/22 5:48pm-5:17pm My family has been eating at the Wendy's Braselton location for 5 years. They aren't always stellar but are always sufficient. Tonight, however, was a completely different experience. We arrived at the drive thru at approx 5:48pm on 5/20/22. My family waited patiently for over 3 mins before the worker was ready to take our order. However, we have always had friendly experiences with the staff before this. So we pleasantly ordered our food and pulled forward to pay. The staff member at the pay window was his normal courteous self. Then we pulled forward to the pick up window. Let me pause to say that I have worked in the fast food industry. I try to be extra patient during peak hours and locations that are short staffed. However, this employee made it obvious that we were his least concern. My family did not receive the correct order, a complete order or the correct beverages. However, before we could say anything, the window was slammed shut. Slammed. This was not my imagination. I've been to this location many times. We waited for 7 minutes before the employee acknowledged us again. Meanwhile, my children were hungry, my husband was now late to a work event, and I was irritated. When the staff member saw us, he didn't open the window. Instead, he tried to pretend that he didn't see us! He turned away and only opened the window because my husband was waving his arms frantically and speaking loudly. The employee didn't speak. He didn't apologize or ask what we needed. He tried to give us the next order. We stopped him and explained our situation. He then left- without a word. Several minutes later, he returned with another incorrect order. No words were offered from him to explain for his strange behavior. He just looked blankly at us and then closed the window. It is now 6:12pm and we were planning to be nearing our destination by this time. Instead, we STILL didn't have our complete meal or correct beverages. Several minutes later, he thrust another bag through the window. As he turned to dart, my husband and I both asked him to stop and remain at the window while we checked the order. Spoiler alert. The order was wrong. There was no receipt- which I asked for and did not receive. My children's dinner was incomplete and incorrect. My husband was late for his event. The fries were burnt and cold when we received them. The salad I ordered was great! But our drinks were also incorrect. I'm very frustrated and disappointed by this locations of Wendy's. Would of gave them a zero. Walked in and happen to catch a guy behind the counter elbow deep in his nose. Quite awkward because we made eye contact. He didn't wash his hands AT ALL. Guess who prepared my fries with NO GLOVES on?! You got it. I asked them to make me another fries and explained again he didn't wash he hands. I've been coming to this Wendy's since it opened. That being said, it has completely gone to shit! I remember when the staff were nice and friendly not rude ignorant and more concerned about their phones than doing the job. After repeating my order 3 times and waiting 25 minutes I only get 1 of my 3 large drinks and it's small. The guy in the window just shoved everything in my face and shut the window so he could go dance with the kid in the 1st window. I finally get someone's attention Brianna I believe she rolls her eyes open the window and just glared. I tell her I'm missing 2 drinks and all 3 were large she hands me a small coke that's literally dripping off the cup and says "well they rang up small so.." I said no they didn't tell fries are large so we're the drinks. She gets the manager who will not look my direction, after a couple minutes of eye rolling and head bobbing I still haven't received my last drink or sauces nor have they even acknowledged I'm still sitting there. Then to my disbelief the crew member pulls her phone out the manager leans In to see and they begin laughing looking at photos on the phone! I had 2 hungry and Ill kids I was trying to feed. Food absolutely sucked no cheese on my sandwich hard chicken cold fries no sauce for our nuggets and 2 small drinks that should've been large. Never received my 3rd drink because the anger growing inside was about to start breaking shit. I don't know what happened to all the Asians that ran that joint for years but they need to come back.
