I won't make it a big deal about how it seems all the Wendy locations are running out of BBQ sauce lol. What made want to leave is the simple fact that I ordered I chicken sandwich meal I think #4 add cheese no pickle... they changed me for cheese,removed the lettuce and I still had pickles!! Then a lady working at the window told me it was only 2 minutes for fresh fries so I gladly waited, only for them to leave me sitting there for about 7 mins. After a long day running around visiting family in the area and eating too many things we shouldn't, we swung by Wendy's and got salads to take back to our hotel. My wife ordered the Taco Salad and I ordered the Strawberry Salad. About 10 minutes later and to our room we opened them up and dug in. Both were fresh, crisp, chilled and delicious. Exactly what we needed. A guilt free dinner! Although a bit slow at the drive through. In a rainstorm, probably just the evening dinner rush. A great experience. read more

The night shift for this place has really gone downhill... slow as all get out. Went to get some grub around midnight and the line was wrapped all the way around the building. Took over half an hour to get to the window. Even then everything was pretty mid. The fries were just thrown in a paper bag. Nothing was hot. Staff seemed kinda annoyed at us as if we were the bad guys for adding to the line of cars I guess? Maybe if they were quick and served everyone efficiently they wouldn't feel so unmotivated. On my way back from from an event I decided to stop by Wendy's to grab something quick to eat. The drive thru line was too long so I went inside to order and use the restroom and soon I walked in I almost slipped and bust my butt on the floor. There was a wet floor sign up but the soda that spilled was still on the floor (cup included) and no one mopped it up. After I came from the restroom I ordered my food (a spicy chicken sandwich combo) and my food came out in a decent amount of time and hot. All in all I was in there under 10 minutes and once I got my soda as I was walking out the soda was still on the ground with people slipping and sliding along the way. It really should've been cleaned up so no one would get hurt. Overall a good experience. read more

Run of the mill fast food BUT the staff was lovely! The bathrooms and dining space were clean and spaced well. Strangely enough they got rid of the Potato with Broccoli. That said while some places stopped serving healthy choices you still have a few like Chili, Potatoes and Salad. read more

I normally don't post negative reviews because all employee/ employers have "off/bad" days or nights, but last night was probably the last time my family will choose Wendy's as a last minute quick pick up for lunch or dinner. Our 9 yr old son had a 7:30pm baseball game in Stanley. We chose Wendy's in Belmont although it was out of the way seeing as how we live in Mt Holly, but have had terrible experiences at the Wendy's in Stanley. After waiting in line for at least 20mins with only a few cars in front of us, we pull up to the window finally to pick up our order that we repeated twice. Yes school is out, but parents still have to work that's why we chose to do fast food. First off you have people standing around talking inappropriately, no wonder the line isn't moving as it should. Second off we were given the wrong drinks but instead of taking them back so we had room for everything, we were made the correct drinks and not even offered a drink tray. Last but not least, we did not receive our entire order that we paid for, while the female at the window talked about her body, being bloated, and she made the comment "this what having kids does to your body", while she is leaning out the window and my son in the back seat could hear everything. I didn't post last night because I wanted to take a minute to calm down and wasn't overreacting from us all being tired because it was already 10pm. It is sad that we have people working jobs like this and making more money than people with college degrees, just to have bodies in a building that know or could care less about common decency and simple customer service skills. Wendy's we used to be a huge fan. You lost our business last night! Everyone makes mistakes, but the conversations knowing there are kids in the car and men that don't want to hear about your body issues is ridiculous. Trapped waiting for 30 minutes in a drive thru. Service was horrible and could care less. You're better off shutting down if you don't have people to work. Order came out coMpletely wrong. 4 out of 9 items were WRONG AFTER 30 minutes! AND our fries were not in the bag. No way to correct when the line is to the street and nobody will answer the door because inside is closed. Dave is rolling over in his grave knowing the customer service at this location. No thank you, not even a peep. Person at the window didn't even speak to us while two other people were standing around doing nothing and one making her own drink and not being helpful. Your standard Wendy's location. This one has been updated to the ultra-modern look Wendy's has been going for lately. Wendy's is arguably the best at getting all of their restaurants up to speed with modernization. It also gives the feel that food here is better for you. They of course still have the usual burgers and fries. (In my opinion, some of the best burgers and fries in the fast food industry for an affordable price.) They still have the frosty. It would be shameful to get anything but the chocolate (AKA: original) frosty. But they do have plenty of good salad options and grilled chicken sandwiches to compliment the fried chicken. People swear by their chili and baked potatoes. And the 4 for 4 deal is probably an industry best. Service here wasn't bad. They're easy access on and off the highway. It's clean and nice inside. The parking lot could use repainting. Food quality is as expected for all Wendy's locations. read more

Really? Wendy's. This location must be owned by the same owners as the Freedom Drive location in Charlotte. They make you wait 20 minutes at intercom while they only assist one car at a time. The line was wrapped around the building. Then I get bacon so crispy that it was hard as a rock. Then I get Baconater fries with bacon throw on top! This location is becoming a joke. Stopped by on a Thursday night around 8:30. This may be the worst crew at a Wendy's I have ever seen. The floor was covered in food. The ice machines were spitting water, the ketchup containers were empty (you had to go to the counter to get packets, wonder why they just didn't put the packets by the containers?). There were at least 8 staff and meals took forever. I saw my two burgers come out to the counter, but apparently the french fries weren't ready. By the time I got my meal the hamburgers were cold. Yes, we know it's late for food, but my family owns a boutique in McAdenville and we work until the Christmas lights turn off. Moving on, he waited 20+minutes in the drive through line only to be told that he could only order 2 items when he got to the speaker. When he asked them how he was supposed to feed his family who was expecting food, they did not answer but just restated the "rule". This was probably the worst experience that I've ever had at a wendy's. We went at around 7am and there was ONE person in front of us. We placed an order for two combos with coffees and also got two bottles water. We proceeded to the window which once we got there, we hung out for a minute and then they asked us to pull forward as they needed to make fresh coffee.... we no joke waited for almost ten minutes. They came out, gave us our food and debit card back... went back in, got the coffees. We were flustered because we had a tee time that we needed to get to and so I just took off. My SO received the wrong breakfast sandwiches, our coffees were black when we both requested cream and sugar AND they forgot our waters. This place and the employees sucked big time! One star is very generous. This location usually is not bad for me but the night shift was awful. Waited in line for 45 minutes!! Got to the window and nobody came until 5 minutes of me sitting there. Drinks and frosty had been sitting next to the window for who knows how long because the frosty was very melted. Was missing a junior cheeseburger and both drinks I got were incorrect. If you're looking to get fast food in the late afternoon to night time make sure to avoid this Wendy's at all cost or you might as well bring a tent to pitch in line. read more

I never post but I feel that posting may help as this Wendy's really needs an improvement in management. Young kids working are under utilized and under managed. I would give 0 stars if I could but I'm forced to leave one in order to write a review. This place is HORRIBLE! For the past couple nights for like a month I been coming here since I work near by. They kill the Wendy's experience completely at night. Never been HERE in the day time but other Wendy's make you feel better than this and the fries taste like they are cooked in fat and not grease like taste so bad I had to turn back around and return it after letting them get away twice. I decided to try this Wendy's again after multiple wrong orders. I waited in the drive through for 15mins at around 9pm for food. I was waiting by the first window and I can see multiple employees walking to the back corner as there's only 2 cars in front of me. I then see that one of the employees in a red shirt is laughing hysterically and grabs this dirty hose with plastic gloves on and walks back to then front laughing with her gloves.
