Only reason I give this location 2 stars is not based on food. It was based on who I would guess is the young male manager severely reprimanding a fellow female employee openly in front of customers. This was Monday 5/30 around 6pm. I understand issues in the workplace, but how you address them is very important and the harsh manner this young man used was very unprofessional considering there patron in the lobby, as well as seeing other employees clearly become uncomfortable with his methods. I think there needs to be some workplace training, as this wasn't a good look, and actually made me want to leave. He could've easily pulled her to the side and addressed it privately rather than tell her that she needs to go on break, as well as other unprofessional actions. My mom loves Wendy's so she used to take my sibling and I there a lot. I grew tired of it, which is nothing against the establishment itself, but just my constant consumption of it. The food is pretty alright, nothing wrong with it by any means. It's just your average chain restaurant. I normally wouldn't review a fast food chain, however we had such an OUTSTANDING experience at the Battle Ground Wendy's, I had to give a shout out to their manager, Shay! She went above and beyond to see that we were served after waiting in a long drive-thru line, even though it meant closing a little late and cooking fresh meat to make sure our food was as perfect as possible! And she did it with a great attitude, despite being short-staffed in a Covid-economy at the end of her shift on the weekend before Christmas! When she brought it out to our car in the pouring rain (with the same cheerful countenance), she realized our order was missing an item and returned with two of the same as a comp for the inconvenience. It takes a very long time to get through the drive-thru. There are errors with the orders. I ordered a chicken sandwich and I got a bacon cheeseburger. I want to start out by saying, I recently ordered their Southwest Avocado Salad and it was the most disgusting thing I have tasted. I usually get this order but this time there was just too many bad factors going on. First, there was a crispy fry mixed in my salad as long with moldy lettuce. Secondly, the lettuce tasted really foul, making me not able to finish a couple of bites without being nauseous from the smell or taste. Lastly, the chicken wasn't even cut on the salad.
