Ordered the new green tea drink (have ordered before). This time ordered the BLACKBERRY at the suggestion on the employee. I got it and it tasted like grape. I asked if I could exchange it for a different flavor I was told it is NOT blackberry, it is marionberry. They would not let me exchange it for something else....F for customer service. They they told me to throw it away. Food: Walla Walla onion rings....they were delicious. The original employee was very kind, the woman who refused to make it right was rude. I understand why they currently have a 2.5 over all rating....the managers should pay attention. read more

I have never had a worse experience. After waiting 20 minutes for a cold burger, they decided to dump the whole fryer in our bag apparently. When we got in the car we realized that one bag was dripping with grease. There was grease all over the boxes our onion rings came in and all over our car, including my sweatshirt. We moved from Washington and were so excited to have burgerville again, and we were sorely disappointed in the customer service as well as the nasty bag full of grease we received. Ive worked in restaurants my whole life and I fully understand that this is fast food. But presentation is very important when sending the food out to the customer. Unwrapped my burger to find what looks like a sloppy joe. I would be embarrassed to send a burger out like that. Looks like someone was having a bad night and took it out on my order. I've never left a review before because as someone in customer service, I like to give people grace and the benefit of the doubt. In this case however, my mouth dropped this entire interaction, I've never been treated so poorly in a drive through. We got to the window and were greeted with "WHAT DO YOU WANT?" in the most rude tone. Then when we ordered and said thank you she goes "7 dollars. PULL FORWARD." The guy at the window was nice. We ordered a chocolate bliss shake and fries, she forgot to add the fries and they didn't read the order back. That's not a big deal at all, the lady was just super rude, forgetting an item and not offering to make it was kind of lame, overall just baffled at the lady. As someone who works in customer service, she deserves a write up at least, that was wild. read more

I visit battleground every year, and absolutely need to come here multiple times in a weeks trip. Everything about this place is amazing, except that they tend to mess up orders, by forgetting something. But they are so nice and apologetic when you go back and tell them they messed something up. The ambiance is that of an average burger chain, and there are a few uncomfortable metal picnic tables outside, that can sit big parties. This place has the best burger and onion rings that I have ever had, and we always have to bring their special Burgerville sauce home with us. read more

Have been to this Burgerville dozens of times.This evening July 16 was a very unpleasant experience with Kathy who rudely handed over the phoned order.After driving home with the items we discovered that an expensive Bacon cheeseburger was missing.Upon return Kathy handed over the burger without the courtesy of sorry or any remark. After driving several miles to and from Burgerville it would not have been unexpected to hear something even if it was "Get Lost!' which I suppose was the attitude of the annoyed clerk. Greeted by snarky Brendan, we got off to an odd start to our order... I asked for the special my husband ask for the grass fed 1/4 pounder as Brendan repeatedly rolled his eyes at our questions... We asked to eat in the dinning room. Our meal arrived quickly but in a greasy bag filled with the greasiest most disgusting "food". My burger was slopped onto an old greassy bun and had 4 tablespoons of the most putrid mayo slop. As I tried to turn it over to salvage just the meat. i used hella napkins... I felt eyes on me as I labored over the food I could have made at home / better and cheaper, I turned around and saw an older lady manager who looked on sadly as we used all of the napkins to wipe the disgust and disappointment off our hands.,although she is not motivated or sad enough to bother coming over. We love burgerville! Look forward to their delicious food whenever we r in town. Love their grass fed beef & fresh lemonade w/muddled raspberries. Appreciate the gluten free bun option. U can taste the quality. That said, it's still a fast good joint & we paid $55 for 3 people to have burgers/fries then 1lemonade & 1 shake at lunch. Wow!! Would have eaten there 3 times during trip but after that just ate once. So many more options calling r name at that price point. 5 stars for the food, fries, shake, lemonade. So very tasty! 3 stars for pricing & service (kind of lackluster- doesn't really feel like the staff is working to earn ur business or ensure a great experience). There's a tipping point w/everything on product value vs cost. I'm more than willing to pay extra 4 quality ingredients, tasty food, allergy friendly options....but burgerville has gone too far. If u go, suggest ordering the regular burger (btw- I declined the cheese it comes with but was charged $1 to add lettuce/tomato- kind of seems like an even trade), getting a large fry to share rather than individual small fries & if u get the lemonade ask 4 it without ice. I am adding a new review. My last one was several years old but also garnered only one star. I'm ticked off enough to replace that review for this one. Let me start by saying, the young man at the 1st drive up window was lovely. The snotty blonde girl in the red polo at the 2nd window, though, needs an attitude adjustment. At the 2nd window, the girl opened the window, handed me my food, & said, "here you go" which is usually a way of ending a transaction. I merely asked about my drinks. The brat snapped at me, "I'm working on it" all while giving me a snotty smirk. I took the drinks and told her what she said was very snotty. She just smirked at me... The snotty smirk of a girl not at all worried about getting in trouble. Burgerville, your food isn't that great given the price point. But seriously, I convinced my family to get out of the McDonald's drive-thru and then got into the Burgerville line. Three meals and some added extras came out to be about $42. Extremely sweet but my friend said that the milkshakes here were the best in the world and I definitely think that they were top notch -- however probably too much sugar for my liking. Update: I took Heidis suggestion to give the Battle Ground Burgerville another try. Here's the result: Service was somewhat faster. It was around 7:30 pm with only one car ahead. No complaints. Fries: better this time. Crisp and warm. Hamburger: Meh, still nothing special. The slice of cheese wasn't even melted and the meat was lukewarm on a cold bun. Value: overpriced. The good news? Burgerville is one of our number 1 food stops when we travel "back home" to the west side of the state. It was a staple of dining out of both my husband and I growing up. It's so sad that the closest one to us now is 2 hours away!! We met up with family there on Sunday and our food and service was fantastic! I ordered my shake extra thick, and the girl who brought it to me said she did the upside down test on it...it was perfect! As fast food restaurants go, Burgerville is head and shoulders above the rest. At least what passes for fast food in the Portland area, anyway. Local products, Oregon Country Beef, seasonal Walla Walla onion rings, excellent veggie burgers, and that crack-like Burgerville spread. I'll pay the extra to get good quality ingredients any time, and that's why I choose Burgerville every time. This location left me feeling a bit underwhelmed, however. We recently visited on our way up to St. Helens and ordered a spicy Anasazi bean burger basket and a colossal bacon cheeseburger basket with onion rings. The burger was decently tasty and the onion rings were, as they always are, delicious. Seriously. So good. The Anasazi bean burger was delivered with no cheese and barely any sauce. My associate wasn't stoked and asked the counter person to make it right. He definitely got some confused looks/attitude from them, and it took quite a while to make it right. When it came back, the cheese was unmelted on the burger and not a ton of sauce. Just sort of a meh version of the usual offering (this is something I get often from B'ville). It wasn't that busy, it's not hard to make these things right (you do it all day) but hey, mistakes get made. Just don't cop a 'tude when we point it out and ask you to fix it. Not when we're paying over $8 for a combo meal. Otherwise my food was good, and totally hit the spot. A-OK. read more

I would have given Burgerville 5 stars but two things prevented me from doing so. The prices and the service. Let me say that have great food. Always fresh toppings for the burgers. The fries are tasty. Milkshakes and salads too. But their prices are very HIGH! Expect to spend $8-$10 (including taxes) per person if you want a burger, drink, and fries. If you want a milkshake instead of a soda that's an extra couple of bucks. The service is OK, at best and if they are having a good day. It is generally very slow and there have been a number of times my order has been wrong. Seems to happen more often when going through the drive-thru. One time I went through the drive-thru and got all the way home before I realized it wasn't even my order (didn't open the bag until I got home). I had to go all the way back. They fixed it, but never really apologized for it. And didn't offer me any compensation or anything for my having to come back. read more

I come up to Washington every summer for vacation and one of the "must do" items is a trip to Burgerville for Walla Walla sweet onion rings. Heaven.The burgers are good, the seasonal shakes are outstanding, and I really like the sustainable ag,local grown, hormone and cage free philosophy of this place. PS. We got the fish and chips. They were awful. You would think for the expensive price we had to pay we would get a decent dinner. The fish was very thin and the breading was very dark and crisp.
