Went through the drive thru. It took an extremely long time- 30 minutes for maybe 5 cars ahead of mine. If my kids were not set on the kid's meals, I would have pulled out of line. The food was cold and there was something questionable on top of the bun of my spicy chicken sandwich. The chicken patty also looked weird. The food smelled gross to me. I did not eat my food. Waste of money, won't be going back. The lady at the food window seemed very nice and friendly though. read more

I visited my local Wendy's where a friend was to check it out, and I was pleasantly pleased by the improvement of the environment and staff, today was packed so the service was still pretty slow, but they were busy so I understand. I got an Oreo frosty, which was a nice treat for the hot weather, however the fries were not the best due to the odd ratio of crispy and soft (hard to elaborate). Although the environment was pretty clean there were a few minor cracks in the surfaces, but that's okay w me. Spent 40 minutes in the drive thru just waiting to get a pick up order that was put in on app. Even sent son inside to try picking it up & girl looked around for 1-2 minutes & then returned to work & ignored my son. So Wendy's messed up my burger I asked for a cheeseburger with no pickles and then they give me a burger with tomato's and lettuce and they had pickles I don't recommend because they will get your order wrong. The service good but the only thing they got right was my orange frosty. But I see why it has 2 stars on yelp because they don't like it and I don't blame them. And I won't be going to this Wendy's ever again. All I wanted was a cheese burger with no pickles or tomatoes or lettuce. And then they had mayo on it. First off, the 'FOOD' is fine here as we've never had an issue with it. The problem lies with the drive-thru. For some reason, although all the infrastructure is present they don't tend to use it. By that, I mean the Cashier's Window is most often NOT STAFFED. So this simply means without a separate cashier, you get to spend roughly TWICE the time waiting-in-line to place an order, to then pay for your order, and finally to receive your order. I have seen 20+ cars waiting in line, backed up all the way out onto Highway 30...for the simple reason there is NO dedicated cashier taking money at the first drive-up window. IF you've got the time and are are willing to WAIT...while an under-staffed drive-through fast-food restaurant takes your order and finally your money, you WILL (eventually) get your food, which has always been good & tasty. On the few occasions, the first drive-thru window IS staffed with a cashier (~30% of the time) the line of cars moves along at a good pace and EVERYONE is happy. read more

This location was incredibly, incredibly slow. It took 20 minutes for me to get a large chili and a medium frosty - and there were only two people in line ahead of me. The girl taking orders seemed completely overwhelmed and kept leaving the register to go look at the orders already placed. If I had not promised to bring a frosty to my aunt, I would have walked out. My chili was very good (always is!) but I was surprised how small a medium frosty is. I even asked the server if I was given the correct size. I will eat at Wendy's again, just not at this location. read more

Ordered delivery through the Wendy's app for the biggie bag for my husband and I, they entirely forgot our burgers and our delivery driver was kind enough to go back and get the burgers. I had a phone call with someone specifying what was on one of the burgers in detail and they gave me a entirely plain burger, no sauce or anything. Not a very good experience. read more

World's Worst Wendy's (WWW) !!! Avoid at All Cost!!! Customer Service is Pitifully Inadequate to non-existent. I ordered my meal and went to fill-up my Unsweetened Tea - it was empty. I tried their Light Lemonade from the machine, but it delivered Soda Water only to the cup and shot the syrup all over the side of the machine. I turned around to pick-up the food and asked the cashier for the tea behind the counter. It was empty too. I then just asked for a refund on the drink. The cashier informed the Manager, Jonathan. Jonathan refused to give me a refund and offered me a Diet Coke from the machine at the drive thru window? I informed him I would just "choke down" my chili and potato, but would never return to the restaurant - three couples were in line behind me during this exchange. I then went into their lobby directly in front of their wide screen TV and did my best to eat dinner without anything to drink. As I ate, I watched Jonathan refill the Tea behind the counter without filling the main lobby for customers. He did come out to check his machine and tried out the Coke. It worked and that was good enough for him. When I left the restaurant I went back up to the counter to ask Jonathan his name and ensure he was the Manager. He responded confirming both and then offered me the tea saying they had it now - still no refund though and no apology!!! He said he would have brought it out to me, but didn't see me? I was 10 feet away from the Machine he checked in front of a 52 inch wide screen TV by myself at a large long bar that could seat 8-10 people. There were exactly 8 people in their lobby including me. Go elsewhere in Athens, TN my Friends :). There is a Taco Bell across the street, a Sonic, Zaxby's, Firehouse Subs, McDonalds, KFC, Arby's, and much more just a half mile past this restaurant. This HAS to be the worst Wendy's I have ever been too. First off, they tell us their out of fries. Ok. The manager failed to order enough fries for the demand. Everyone wants fries with their sandwiches. Secondly, ordered the strawberry mango salad and got an apple pecan salad. The employee was scooping out the last bit of chili they had. Ate there yesterday. Went through the drive thru line. The line was long but moved fast. The workers were super nice, my food was hot, napkins in bag, sauce I asked for, and they were all smiling like they wanted to be there. Walter, Gen. Mgr. Two Seniors passing through from Tallahassee, FL on our way to Ohio, stayed overnight at Motel 6 in Athens, GA. We drove a good 8 hours, went through Wendy's drive through which I don't normally do. Handed my companion who was driving a $20.00 bill as I needed change. Guess what, that was an expensive two chilies and a frosty! I got robbed.... Got back to the hotel and I ask my companion if he put my change in the bag, which he sometimes does. He said no all he was given was the loose change in his hand. That was an expensive late night snack. And I am a single lady on a fixed income! The person at the window may be in the habit of doing this as in another review Chris Packer from Michigan had the same thing happen to him in Dec. 2014. I'm not a happy camper!! I'm a senior on a fixed income that would appreciate my $10.00 - $13.00 in in change returned to me. I worked the Rapids Water Park in West Palm Beach Cashiering for 10 years doing as much as $2,000. On hour lunch shift. I don't understand why on the cash receipt it doesn't show cash given $20 Dollar bill and Change returned? I had a guy say I short changed him ONCE. Our policy was the cash given stayed on the drawer until the change was made and we had to count it back to the customer. My boss pulled me from the window and we counted my drawer right then right now. I was right on the money! So if you keep good records your drawer should have been off at least by my $10. -$13.
