It's been a while since I've visited a Five Guys, and it was nice to be reminded how good the food and service are. Great burgers and fries made to order. Pricing has increased since my last visit. Serving size for both the burger and fries was generous, even for the "Little Cheeseburger." The fries were just as good as I remember. Gotta love peanut oil fried fries! I absolutely love the malt vinegar and ketchup for the fries, too. The inside was clean, and they had someone constantly checking the dining area and cleaning up. Meh. The nearly $7 hot dogs were butterflied and cooked to extreme crispiness. My kids were unimpressed. Burgers were bland and the cheese wasn't melted. That's inexcusable. Fries were a little limp. It wasn't the Five Guys we know. read more

I am not the biggest fan of burgers and fries but this is the exception I know I'm pretty late I am going to five guys and I think my first time at this restaurant was about a year ago. It's really amazing the freshness, the cleanliness, and everything I have no major complaints. The Decour has little old school burger dive type of vibe and I like the fact that they tell you where the potatoes came from and they're freshly cut daily. This restaurant is very clean and the prices are listed clear for everyone to see. The drawback is is that you have to buy everything individually and they're not really like meals like I used to like McDonald's or Red Robin. It's not quite restaurant fast food but it's not a sitdown place either it's more of a walk up to go but you can sit and eat and they have every kind of meat that you can think of. I really like that you can add basically anything to your burger and there's no extra cost. But the prices are kind of steep but the quality matches the price so I think it's fully worth it. So if you're a meat and potatoes fries person this place is for you. Way over rated for the price you pay. If you like fries then you may get some of you money's worth. Hamburgers are big then they fill the bag with fries. Greasy fries at that. I got some bacon double burger and the guy asked me what I wanted on it? WTF! I like to eat. So I told him to surprise me. Yeah! It was one of the best burgers I have ever had! Yes. It was delicious. There were mushrooms, onions and more tasty goodness than I would have ever chosen for myself. There were three of us on the ticket and I picked up the bill. Five Guys food is still good. But my last two trips there were spoiled by the incredibly loud music and hard rock/metal sounds that kept me from being able to hear my lunch companion without almost shouting. It seems the music is for the employees and not the customers. Now I get my food to go and cannot recommend it as a sit-down lunch. That's a shame as I would often take guests from out-of-town there but no longer. I'll be taking guests to Steak and Shake where conversations are possible without screaming. read more

The burger, fries and coke were all good. It's a little bit too pricey in here though. I paid about $12 for a cheeseburger, greasy French fries and a coke. Now, why should I pay that much here for a "cholesterol" burger when I can go across the street at McDonald's and pay half that. I mean if I come here I have to take lovastatin. It's just not worth it. The cheeseburger was real good as I got it well done with cheese, mayonnaise, mustard, pickle, onion, lettuce and tomato. Just the normal items. I'm sorry but I can only give 2 stars. First off the service was fine and it was a reasonable time to wait for our orders to go. What was crazy was the price. $$ We ordered 2 Bacon cheeseburgers (no drinks or fries) because we had drinks at home and sides. It came to $19.00 and some change! Ok, well that is definitely a lot of cash for just 2 burgers alone but we thought "Ok these must be HUGE fantastic burgers right, for that price? It wasn't that the burgers were bad, they were your average burgers you can get at just about any fast food place around town but they were small. Three stars only because of price, not quality. My daughter and I had about 2 house to kill between softballs games. I was starving and she was bored so I decided that we would go to five guys for a burger this past Saturday. I normally love the ball park hamburgers but after being at the park for a solid 10 hours at that point, I was ready to leave and a five guys respite was in order. We arrived around 5:30pm and walked straight up to the counter. I ordered a small burger for the kid and got myself a bunless Bacon double cheese burger with mayo, lettuce, onions and mustard. An order of fires and a couple of drinks. A moderate sized meal all for the low price of............. yep, I'm lying. It wasn't a low price. It was $25. The burgers were, amazing! Those cooked onions made that double cheese burger taste like heaven in an aluminum bowl. Simply marvelous and since my daughters stomach is the size of a thimble, I snacked on some fries, even though they weren't on my keto diet, but man they were good. Okay, so I love the food but it's priced as if it has gold flakes in it. So if you don't mind spending the money, stop in but don't look for a bargain. When we went here, and while we were particular about not having our food cooked with unclean animal that isn't food. These guys were so amazing to accommodate us. They cooked our food and totally separated from the unclean. They were kind and the shared all they knew about the ingredients in their food. We try to eat organic when we can or at least non GMOed. Five Guys compared to McDonald's? If you have read any reviews that even think about comparing these two establishments run very far away from that review. Thats like comparing Publix to Walmart. Yes, there's a bit of a price difference, and let me emphasize this.....BECAUSE THERE IS A QUALITY DIFFERENCE. Five Guys burgers are just a higher quality of ingredients. I love their burgers. If I'm out and about and wanting a burger and not wanting to make a homemade burger, this is the place I go. However, all I ever get is the burgers. Specifically the "little hamburger," but don't be fooled it's not the typical kids size you would picture. It's the perfect size for someone who is looking to be full, but not stuffed. The only order I'm not the biggest fan of is the fries. Now I know plenty of people who swear by their fries and love them, but they just don't do it for me. If it's your first time going definitely get an order to make your own judgment. Unlike typical fast food establishments the staff at this location are very friendly and work hard. Have never had any type of poor encounter with the staff whatsoever. Definitely try this place. Yes, you'll pay a few dollars more than other fast food establishments, but that's because you are getting a higher quality burger than the other places. read more

While the fries are different, both they and the burgers give you the feeling that your arteries are clogging with every bite. I feel bad for people who compare Five Guys to McDonalds... it's not the same. That's comparing cheapo frozen beef (and it's questionable if it is even good beef, McD's has been caught using pink slime remember...) patties to fresh beef. Also... I am pretty sure in the health conscious world that nobody expects Five Guys to be healthy and wholesome. That said... if you want quality beef (which one would expect to pay a little more for) cooked up right with whatever toppings you like then Five Guys is going to ease that burger craving. It's going to cost you about $10 a person with tax if you get fries and a drink. If that seems expensive to you then you're a cheap and/or broke person so accept that and go on to McD's where they can get your order wrong and serve you questionable "food". If however this is your occasional indulgence and you want it to be a really good burger experience this is the place for you. Bottom Line: It's a good place to get a burger and fries. read more

First things first, the prices of there burgers are ridiculous. The food is extremely greasy and rips through their paper bags. Personally I wish they would cook the grilled onions a little longer. On the other hand the burgers are delicious. So are the toppings and the fries which are their only real value. I share a large fry with a family of five and when I can I go for the Cajun since fries everywhere else are either plain or with seasoned salt. Final note this place has only messed one order in all the times I have eaten their and that was just missing bacon on a little bacon cheese burger. I know the prices going in. But almost 15 dollars for a hamburger, fries and coke is steep. The burger could be greatly improved in taste with the addition of salt. Everything was really good only problem I have with this place is their pricing ordered a little hamburger, a bacon cheeseburger and one order of fries with no drinks because we got it to take home and our total was just short of 17 dollars. This is my favorite burger joint in Cleveland. I was skeptical to try it, but I'm glad I did. The burgers are cooked well-done & actually have that grilled flavor. They're made to order, & you see them make it in front of you, so you know what you're getting. Fry portions are ridiculous. I've never ordered anything but a small fry, & I always end up sharing. Regardless of other reviews, yes you can get cardboard burgers at other places cheaper but they are very bad. Five Guys has the very best burgers at a reasonable price without the priciness of a full restaurant. Their fries are the best ever and I usually go once a week.
