Ordered a cheeseburger deluxe last night in the drive thru a little after 11 pm and was handed a cold burger. They asked if I wanted a fresh one dropped, and I said could you please. They directed me to wait by the front door, which I did for 10 minutes only to be given another cold burger. At that point I didn't want to eat it because I didn't trust it. Idk if they are trying to cook the books when I comes to drive through times or what but it's consistently what's happening. Ordered food from this Wendys to be delivered via Grub Hub. The food that Wendys packed was wrong, inaccurate, and just plain nasty This is the second time in several months this has happened. The last time was me in person at their drive thru. Not sure if they have horrible employees than don't know how to complete an order or the have been infiltrated by employees from the neighboring McDonalds that are sabotaging Wendys. Tonight is December 17th, 2021. I'm only writing this review because it blows my mind how messed up both orders that were purchased were. & then trying to contact the establishment afterwards, calling literally 20 times, only for no one to answer the phone. Ordered a jr bacon cheese burger & got a cheeseburger with only lettuce and Mayo... like how badly messed up everything was just blows my mind and is almost impressive. It's still a 1 star but if you go here, your mind will still certainly be blown by the level of incompetence working here. If I ever go back, I'm going to order everything I don't want... Visited drive thru at 11 PM. Received a cold cheeseburger patty with cooked bacon that was literally refrigerated cold. Did not get any napkins to go with the nuggets and sauce that I ordered. The staff handed me a receipt, my bag of food and a drink & told me to have a nice night, but they kept my credit card. I pulled into a parking spot and inspected my bag of food. Since there were no napkins, I decided to eat in the parking lot to avoid making any mess. I sat there in the Wendy's parking lot for over 10 minutes eating a cold cheeseburger with no napkins, and the lazy stupid idiots who work here had my credit card the whole time. Giving it a 1 star for the time being. I went to use the drive-thru and sat unmoving for about 10 minutes before i gave up. There was 4 cars in line at the order menu and no cars at the windows and no one moved the whole time. At least 4 cars before me gave up before i finally did too. Store was open just apparently wasn't taking an drive thru orders for the time. DO NOT EAT HERE!!! There are way better places seconds from this. On two different occasions I've been here and both times were a complete mess. The previous time they asked me to pull around and wait for my food and it literally took 40 minutes. Not to mention the food was terrible. Tonight I went and was hoping the previous time was a fluke. Well tonight was even worse than the first time. They asked me to pull around after giving us our drinks because they were waiting for "fresh fries". It was then that I noticed they gave us the wrong sized drinks so I went in to exchange for the drink I actually ordered. Then the food came. After getting back to the car, we found out they didn't include the frosty we ordered. After getting home, they forgot to include the milk we ordered for my daughters kids meal and our burgers were soaking in God knows what. So all in all we paid $25 to throw our food away. Fast food does not have to be that great to get a 2 or better. At this Wendy's, a $4.84 single took more than 5 minutes to order, 4 minutes to deliver to the window, was thrown together (ingredients half-on the meat & bun), THEN was only sloppily/loosely wrapped so it was basically inedible food salad in the bag. This requires incredible apathy or incompetence by MOST of the crew. OR. - Wendy's charges ridiculous prices for food that they insist is prepared by minimum-wage workers, which means they can't attract the staff they need, which leaves the existing kids waay waay overtaxed to where they just don't give a crap. So I went thru the drive thru ,about 9pm ish Friday the 5th. Ordered a cheeseburger deluxe with bacon ,and other items ,I drove home with food ,35 minutes away ,opened food up everything else correct Except the sandwich I ordered, it became a hamburger with lettuce and a tomato and that's it. First of all, I've always loved Wendy's. It's been my first pick every time we've had to get fast food. But they really almost killed me. Like murder kill. I'm only leaving a review on here because I've emailed corporate through their website and contacted them on twitter and left a google review and I haven't been contacted by anyone from the store or corporate. My visit was on 01/20/2020 around 1:30 pm and we went through the drive through. I'm a type one diabetic. This is the kind of diabetes that is an auto immune disease, you can't give it to yourself or prevent it or cure it. I'm insulin dependent, and try to use as little as possible because it's expensive and I do not have health insurance. So whenever I do drink soda, I drink diet soda. It's at the point that when I order I don't even say "coke" or "pepsi" I just say "diet please". I've been doing this medical math for a while, so I know I properly dosed my insulin for my sandwich and fries, and before eating my blood sugar was 143. Around 3:30pm I began to feel a little light headed so I checked it and it was 302. Ok, so maybe I miscounted, it happens, so I dose the corrective insulin and go back to finishing my drink and reading my book. An hour later I check and it's at 426. At that point I knew it was the soda, which I had only drank half of, and last time my blood sugar was this high I ended up in the ICU for three days. It took a total of 28 units for me to recover from that soda. That's more than I normally use for an entire day's worth of food, and costs me about $42. I KNOW I said diet, because that's all I ever order. My husband ordered a sprite so it's not like we switched our drinks by accident. Diet shows up on the receipt, so I know it shows up on your order screen. I don't know whether it was an honest mistake, or maliciousness, but everyone who works in food NEEDS to understand that you guys can kill people by just not paying attention. read more

Really friendly staff that try to remember their customers. While they do get a lot of new people, as it is a popular job for those who are in highschool, it is still a nice place. New people mess up sometimes, but the managers are always friendly and make sure that the staff are always nice to their patrons. Overall a very friendly atmosphere, even if the food isn't the best for you. read more

Went to Wendy's in Amherst Ohio and ordered a Chicken Salad. When I got home the chicken was burnt black on the bottom side of the chicken, not visible by looking through the clear plastic lid. When I got home, I called the store and presumably spoke to the Manager who told me that Wendy's has a new chicken cooking policy that requires they cook the chicken longer so it will look a little darker and be a little drier. Well, I can accept that however, I am pretty sure Wendy's policy is NOT to cook the chicken black, hidden face down, not visible to the drive thru customer who just glances through the clear plastic lid. I do not appreciate being made out to be stupid by stating the policy when the chicken was cooked black! I told the Manager that I would like my money back and was told that they do not give money back, they will only replace the food. This is the same Wendy's that I purchased a hamburger that was still red, not pink, in the middle and had to have them re-cook it literally three times! the worst part of that experience was the District Manager was standing right there and never said a word! So now I cannot get my money back, I have to get more food from a Wendy's location that clearly cannot cook their food. I would demand my money back but I am pretty sure they would call the police and since I work for a living, I cannot afford that trouble. Way to Rob the public Wendy's! Do not go here. I was at this location yesterday and had the worst visit of any restaurant or fast food location ever. There were workers sitting on the counters where food is being prepared the got off and turned around and continued preparing food without cleaning. Not to mention there was a workers kid running around the kitchen. Two workers were talking on the phone when we stood waiting to order another was texting at the cash register while we waited. They were cursing and blatantly ignoring us. Not a single table was clean and the food ended up making us all sick.
