How on earth does this particular restaurant have such a low review rating? I found it clean and efficient, with friendly and caring counter staffers. The drive-through (which I did not use) was turning like a piston in an engine. Even the restroom was clean (possibly because you need a code to get in - 1967, btw - but that can't be it because the dining room looked like a model showroom for a Wendy's). The food was pretty darned tasty, too, and priced reasonably especially in comparison to other fast food chains. read more

So I am writing this because of the customer service given at this restaurant. The counter person Keoughla was great in taking my order. I don't eat red meat, She recommended the grilled chicken wrap which I found was very good. She allowed me to eat my meal then come back to get my chocolate frosty. She was a shining light for the store. The soda/tea/everything machine was really fun. You could select pretty much any type liquid refreshment. The peach tea was fantastic. I don't eat at Wendy's often, but would definitely eat here again. Restaurant was clean, food hot, restroom required a code (keeping it only available to customers) Parking lot will no accommodate a large RV. The outstanding Cannibus store "Altitude" is right behind this place. read more

This is our local Wendy's, and while the food is quite good, the service can be hit or miss. However, they consistently deliver decent-quality fast food that strikes the right balance--neither raw nor overcooked. It's fast food, so you know what to expect, but they manage to provide a level of quality that leaves you feeling satisfied after your meal. The customer service here is comparable to other locations, if not a bit better, making it a reliable choice for a quick bite. We always go through the drive through which makes it easier for us and a fast service for busy customers that have a millions things to do in their busy schedule. In regard to indoor ambiance well I cannot attest for what I have not experience and that will remain a mystery for the next customer to explore. read more

Today, my wife and 2 grandchildren went to this Wendy's. After we ordered our meals and ate we got 2 small Frostys to go. As i was ordering i notice the cook walked over to the fries and grabs some fries and put them in his mouth. (He was not wearing gloves) then walk back to the grill. I informed the Manager about what i just saw. The Manager said "I will let him know". Unacceptable! Doesn't Albuquerque have any sanitation/ food handling requirements anymore? Have always enjoyed Wendy's hamburgers, and it was good as always. Cashier was courteous, and our order came quickly. The only thing I can complain about is the eating area. Abort Mission. ABORT MISSION. This Wendy's lost it's great manager and thus, lost all of it's greatness. The sweet girls working there now, are so nice, and so slow and mess up the order....every time. Ordering is like.. it's like that scene... from Zootopia with the sloths at the DMV. This Wendy's is literally the worst Wendy's I have ever been too. Every time I come here Something is missing or I'm waiting for 15-20 minutes for "fast food" the girl that works at the drive threw has a huge attitude and rushes you. The other people during the day are lazy and slow. The line gets backed up all the way out the area so it's nearly impossible to get food at lunch time. So first time at this Wendy's and have to say the experience was way below par. Ordering in drivethru was good and then the experience started. I pulled up and the gentleman at the window was short and no smile so he did not wow me right away. He took my card and when he handed my card back I asked for a receipt and he said it will be in the bag. He handed me a small bag and I said is this right and he just walked away. I checked the bag and it was someone else's order. I walked into the store and talked with a different gentleman who wanted to make it right and he apologized right away and was very friendly. The manager peaked his head around and to look at me and then returned to making food. I asked if that was the manager and he said yes and I asked to speak to him because of the drivethru person being rude. The nice guy at the counter asked the manager to come up because of my concerns and he said he was to busy and he had to make the orders and would not give me any of his time. Unfortunately I have quite a few issues with this Wendy's. It is always packed in the drive through. It takes so so long to get our food, and although it's the only Wendy's in the area I would think after years of the same issue, it would eventually be corrected. I stopped by today to order two meat patties with cheese and was told that they would not be able to accommodate me. They aren't allowed to serve only meat patties... this is upsetting. I'm not able to eat the bun, so It's less of a waste of food to order without. How shall people with food allergies be accommodated here? Secondly, they have served meat patties alone at this location many times before, and at many other locations, regardless of ownership/franchise. I think it's silly to turn a customer away. I am willing to pay the cost of the patties and I'm not looking for a discount, so I don't understand why it isn't allowed. This location in the past has also served me a green tea with a piece of mop floating in the bottom of the cup. Unfortunately I discovered it when I sucked it up through the straw. When I came in to let them know there had been an object in my drink, I was shrugged at and asked what I wanted them to do. At that point, nothing Wendy's. Nothing. Just please be more observant of foreign objects in the food/drink that you are serving to customers. read more

Hadn't stopped at Wendy's in a long time but the son requested a frosty so I stopped and picked up a couple burgers and fries and frosties. It was my first time at this location so it was nice to find the drive up window easily and the employee quickly took my order and I viewed it on the order screen as it was being entered. Good thing, I was able to see that the frosty size was small and I was able to quickly fix that by changing to large. I pulled up to the window and my order was waiting and I was in and out in less than 5 minutes. Very quick service and everything was correct and tasted good. Only wish I had grabbed a chili too, I like their chili. Will have to visit again soon. read more
