My first visit here was great, so I was excited to return for another beautiful, long-lasting mani pedi. Instead, I spent two and a half hours watching News 12 on repeat praying that this experience would end soon. My mom and I had appointments for 3pm. I wasn't taken for my pedicure until 3:30pm, which I understood - things happen. My mom had one person remove her nails, another do her pedicure, another start her manicure, then leave in the middle because he had to "drop someone off," then someone else entirely to finish the manicure. After my pedicure I was left at a manicure station for another half hour. Out of nowhere, a woman comes and takes my bag away from the station without telling me I was being moved. When my mom paid, she said she was shocked at the high price and asked for a breakdown. They (with an attitude) told her they were charging me $20 extra for chrome I wanted on two (2!) nails. When my manicurist (who was the third person I had for the day, two other people did my removal and pedicure) brought out my color, I reminded her I wanted black as well as the pink on two of my nails. She told me it wouldn't look good. I explained it again, and she understood after that, but I was taken aback by her just not telling me she would be doing something entirely different because it "wouldn't look good," even if there was some confusion. They eventually refunded us $10 since I only wanted the chrome on two nails, but that didn't even make sense, why are you charging $20 for ten fingers of chrome and only refunding $10? The work they do is good, but not for the price, and not for the expense of spending TWO AND A HALF HOURS in a salon. Also, when I was washing my hands, I heard some tweeting and saw that there was a literal bird in a box behind the register. So we came here a little last minute, it was me and my 2 friends. They weren't so busy which was great. Cathy worked on all of us individually which yes took some time but she was nice enough to let us all sit next to each other so we can enjoy our girls' day. Our nails came out great. We all got some form of design and it came out exactly like the photos. My nails did need some extra time as I have anxiety and tend to pick at my hands and nails. But they accommodated me easily! In need of a new nail salon closer to home.. I went 2xs used a different person each time. The first time a lady (she wasnt wearing her name tag) cut my nails too short and left nails all uneven. The lady that did them rushed and missed spots on a red dip powder application. They lasted 7 days, for reference dip powder on my nails lasts 3- 4 weeks. The pedicure was done by susan.. it was rushed and there was no real cleaning of the nail. And then the upselling started. She didn't even cover the edge. pedi lasted 1 week before it chipped. I went back to give them the benefit of the doubt. I made the appointment with someone different.. Aaron, I wanted something light with a bit of sparkle, he took his time and chose my color. The color selection was great. the shape was good, nails were even...but my nails are THIIIICK, uncomfortably so it didnt even feel like my nails. This time around they lasted almost 3 weeks. Complete waste of money I paid $65 for my nails to crack and break within the same week of getting them and they refuse to give me a refund and are only granting me a store credit of $40 when I paid $25 more. After someone on the phone told me I could receive. Full refund they said too bad it's actually no cash refunds when I get there. Disgusting... This nail salon is super busy and I mistakenly took that as a sign it would be good. It isn't. My pedicure was probably fifteen minutes if that for the regular one. I was pressed for time anyway, but the job she did was not as thorough as most places. The nail polish was a little sloppy too. When it came time for my gel manicure, they sat me in this ratchet folding chair and short desk. The manicurist had a comfortable cushy chair though. It was an uncomfortable experience. She rushed through the process and my nails look like it. The polish looks like I applied it myself! Look how streaky and uneven it is. No, I didn't ask them to fix it because I didn't want to sit there for another 45 minutes in my folding chair. read more

Though their pedicures are great I can't help but say something when the nail techs can't even color match to their own samples. I wanted an ombre mail from a glitter to a whitish grey. The tech came over and asked if this color was okay... a blue powder I said if it is the same from the sample then I guess so. Proceeded to do my nails as I told him I didn't expect that color they're not supposed to be blue and got mad that I didn't want the vibrant blue, took off one coat and kept going. I said multiple times it is not supposed to be blue and I didn't expect it to be vibrant like that. It is so off from what I wanted and not at all appropriate for the wedding I am in tomorrow. I needed to get my nails done - powdered gel manicure. I made an appointment prior (about two hours before). The check-in process was simple- had an 11:30 appointment and they took me in right away. So many colors to choose from, more than any other place I have seen. I chose number 105 which is a deep red with sparkle glitter in the powder. Michelle was my nail tech. She was very friendly and sweet. I was there for slightly over an hour. My powder gel manicure cost $40 (not including tip). The business has a lot of employees and it's always busy, which is great. I just had the BEST experience I've ever had at any nail salon. The people here are always kind and helpful. Today, I came in knowing I needed something different and gorgeous for my Hawaiian honeymoon, but I didn't know what I wanted. Right before leaving my house, I took a picture of a Hawaiian shirt I have that I'm taking with me on my trip. The shirt's design was the only "inspiration" I had going into the nail salon. When someone couldn't help me after I said, "I'll do the SNS powder with tips. I have no idea what I want, but I'm going to Hawaii and need something pretty and tropical," Amanda stepped up to help me! She was patient and very helpful! I showed her the picture of the shirt, and I asked to see their nail stickers first. We found some nice flowers. Now we just had to find a color. Again, I had no clue what I was doing. Amanda suggested I do a soft white to green ombré. I decided to trust her and let her do her thing. When I said I wanted sparkles, she said that was no problem and we can add that after the ombré. Amanda was kind and patient during the whole process, and her creativity allowed me to walk out with the PERFECT nails that are absolutely gorgeous! The girl next to me was getting her nails done by Rachell. I was talking to them almost the whole time. Rachell also did a great job today! Amazing customer service by both Amanda and Rachell. Black and Brown people: please avoid. I've been going here for months, even brought them other well paying customers, but I've never been fully satisfied with the pedicures. They employ a myriad of technicians with improper and unhygienic technique, topped with attitudes. What surprises me is that those attitudes change for the positive in the face of white customers. I had a gel pedicure done today with many mistakes -- to which I said that I'd pay for the pedicure, but not the extra cost of gel. I was repeatedly and aggressively told that my gel would be removed if I didn't want to pay. Not even an apology or effort to redo my feet while knowingly assigning an untrained technician to me. It was emphasized that I didn't want to pay, ignoring the principle that I'd be paying $100 for a faulty service. The microaggressions and stares are all too overt at this salon. Let me tell you, if you are the kind of person who wants someone to really get your cuticles and heels done so that they are baby soft when you leave, go here right now. Susan is the absolute BEST. This was no easy task after the giant globs of acrylic she had to soak off from the last place.
