We have used Wendi's Cleaning Service (WCS) for years to do our in-home cleaning. Janelle's team always does a great job. They are flexible with their scheduling, show up on time, do their cleaning without direction from us, and leave a spotless home. They have a policy of returning without charge if anything isn't as we wished - we've never had to ask them to do this for us. We would highly recommend WCS for home or commercial cleaning. They are tops. In reviewing a recent negative posting, I simply do not believe that Janelle did not respond to his text messages or phone calls. Someone has an agenda that's not apparent - Janelle works along side her ladies, and replies to correspondence after hours. She has NEVER failed to reply to my emails! Not ever. I hired Wendi's cleaning to do my weekly cleanings this past summer for my rental home. I had a few issues with some of the cleanings not being done thoroughly as this is a weekly waterfront rental home and needs to be spotless for the next renter. I would generally try to inspect the house prior to the next renter coming in if I had time. On my last scheduled cleaning before my 6 month winter rental was to come in Janelle told me she couldn't come out till the following weekend even though she told me it wouldn't be a problem when it was scheduled well in advance. Wendi's did a fantastic job on an in/out cleaning of one of my townhouses. Janelle and her ladies were on time and on focus. What a difference! Wendi's was easy to schedule and even offered to look at the townhouse before the cleaning to ensure they were providing adequate resources to the job. A decent service. Some of the staff is EXCELLENT (Mary rocks) and some are just so-so. They always show up as arranged. They work hard to pay staff decent wages, and they pay taxes and follow the laws - and I think this is a highly ethical company. Many of the competitors do not do any of these things and the honest companies have 10-25% higher carrying costs. Some of the staff could use more training and they could develop more consistent standards to make this a better company. They should also periodically review the owner's instructions because the people coming in to clean may be given outdated information. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! ZERO STARS... The service rendered its self was "ok" nothing spectacular (she didn't even empty the trash in the kitchen) but the company is fraudulent. We agreed on 2 maids for 2 hours @ $120.00. They only sent one maid and she barely made it 2 hours. Wendi tried to charge my card far over the agreed amount and stated that the agreed amount was simply "estimate". I disputed charges through my bank and agreed w/them to pay what it should have cost. A month later I had new charges on my account from Wendi's Company! They had saved my credit card info and were trying to take money from my checking account!! Wendi's in a very shady and unprofessional company and a waste of your time! My bank did investigate the company and I was refunded all fraudulent charges! NICE TRY WENDI! read more

I would lean towards 2.5 stars for Wendi's. We hired Wendi's cleaning service for a bi-weekly cleaning and only used the service for 4 or 5 cleanings. The cleanings were totally underwhelming, and expensive! They wanted 120$ for 2 women to come for 2 hours (so 4 "man hours" of cleaning). I felt this was expensive, but expected my house to be immaculate after their visits! It really wasn't. They did somethings nicely - scrubbed out all the sinks. They did other things not so nicely - vacuumed around kids toys on the floor, instead of moving them. I still found clumps of dust / dirt in corners after their visits. I'm home a lot of the time so I was around a few times when they were cleaning and the people who came were nice, but not particularly fast or professional. The office staff was always very friendly and understanding when I called and expressed my dissatisfaction with the cleaning, but their only remedy was to offer up someone to come and clean dirt clumps out of the corners. I felt silly asking someone to come back and do little things like this. At the end of the day, the house was definitely cleaner thanks to wendi's, but I was NOT impressed by the cleaning job and I felt like it was VERY expensive. read more

I used Wendi's Cleaning for years, bi-weekly and then for special occasions. The level of cleaning was dependent on the staff they sent out, if I ever had a problem I'd let the office know, and they would offer to send somebody back out. The office was always friendly and helpful. My favorite part about Wendi's is dependability. I scheduled my family/party gatherings close to when Wendi's would come out and I could depend on them being there. When I tried a couple smaller/independent cleaners, there where times they cancelled right before an event. It really threw me for a loop...stressful when I didn't plan the time to do a heavy cleaning and had to prepare for the party. read more

We have been using Wendi's for 7 years + for our home and our office. The staff shows up when they say they will, work hard and do a good job. There good at working around things not put away and will move them and continue to clean and put them back. I really couldn't be more pleased. I found Mary after trying 3 other cleaners, one I had for a few years, and they have by far been the best. The cleaners also have nice clean equipment and tools which we like as well read more
