I've been coming to Piccola Trattoria for years, although I hadn't visited in quite some time…read more Coming back reminded me exactly why I fell in love with this restaurant in the first place. Graziella and her brother have created such a special dining experience. My favorite dish has always been the pistachio sauce ravioli. I didn't see it on the menu and mentioned how much I loved it, and Graziella was kind enough to make it for me anyway, explaining that it's now part of their rotating menu. That level of hospitality is rare and so appreciated. I usually never order ravioli as a main course anywhere else, but this dish is absolutely incredible and unlike any ravioli I've had. I was on a double date and convinced my friend to order the same dish because I couldn't stop talking about it. She absolutely loved it and understood immediately why it's my favorite. My fiancé and his cousin both ordered the lamb chops and couldn't stop raving about them. My fiancé substituted the seasonal vegetables for the arugula salad. He normally doesn't eat salad, but he finished the entire thing and said it was one of the best salads he's ever had. The dressing was amazing, and after trying it myself, I completely agreed. My fiancé's cousin, who I consider like a brother, was trying lamb chops for the first time and said he felt like he'd been missing out his whole life. I also ordered the Prickly Pear Margarita from the rotating cocktail menu and enjoyed it so much that I ordered a second one. The food was outstanding, but the atmosphere deserves recognition too. The patio is beautiful, romantic, and has such a relaxing ambiance. It was the perfect setting for a double date. After being away for a few years, I'm so glad I came back. The food, service, and hospitality were just as wonderful as I remembered. Piccola Trattoria remains one of my favorite restaurants, and I can't wait to return again soon.

I'm a regular customer at Bella Cucina, and I want to start by saying that we truly love this…read morerestaurant. It's one of our favorite places, and that's why I've been hesitant to bring this up. But something has been bothering me since last week, and I feel that the owner or management should be aware of it. The first time I noticed it was on a Friday night. I left a $26 cash tip on the table and paid my bill by credit card. As I was leaving, I saw one of the busgirls take the cash tip and put it directly into her pocket, while leaving the credit-card receipt/card situation on the table. At the time, I thought maybe there was some kind of tip-pooling system or restaurant policy that I didn't understand, so I didn't say anything. Then, when I returned the following week, I intentionally left a $30 cash tip and again paid by credit card. As I was walking toward the door, I turned around and saw the same employee do essentially the same thing--take the cash and put it into her pocket. At the time, one of the managers, who was also working as a waiter, was nearby on the phone. Maybe he was taking an order or handling something important, so I understand that he may not have noticed what happened. I've worked in the restaurant business myself, so I understand that every restaurant can have different procedures for handling tips, and there may be an explanation that I'm not aware of. But seeing what appeared to be the same thing happen twice made me uncomfortable. I'm not trying to cause trouble for anyone, and I certainly don't want to make an accusation without knowing the restaurant's policy. I simply believe management should be aware of what I observed and look into it. We really love Bella Cucina, and I want to continue coming there. That's exactly why I feel this should be addressed properly. I would rather bring the matter directly to the owner or management than simply walk away and say nothing. I believe the restaurant should make sure that all cash tips are handled according to its established policy and that customers can feel confident that their tips are being distributed appropriately. I don't know the employee's full name for certain. I believe I heard someone call her Esther, possibly "Tota," but I could be mistaken, so I would leave it to management to identify the employee based on the dates and circumstances

This was a terrible experience. For an Italian restaurant…read moreto cost so much, they should be ashamed of themselves. I ordered the most basic items, pasta pomodoro, ( as they call, Positano Amalfi Coast) and Shrimp linguine. Easy, right? Apparently not. For the price you pay, you are not going to get what you want. The pasta pomodoro had a few tomatoes and a ton of pasta, pure garlic flavor. The shrimp linguine had a ton of linguine and a few shrimp. To charge that much for each meal is ridiculous. I'll never order again. Also, the garlic knots are far too greasy. The two shrimp I had were cooked well and had good flavor, so that is the one star.
