What Jess brings to the table is something more, which was a genuine concern for my child. On one of our conversatios she said " I went on this run and I was thinking about"... she was thinking about my kid and how to help. She made me feel like we ( we because as parents, things that affect our kids affect us) were "seen." I think more often than not people get complacent in their careers, including the medical or mental health field, which I would chalk up to human nature. However, she never made me feel like my kid was number or just another patient. She was someone going through something and Jess was going to figure it out. We had to stop seeing Jess due to some circumstances out of my control. Which only lead us to a merry go round of therapists and it wasn't until then, that I was able to fully appreciate her, not only for her emotional investment in my child but also for her instincts, which were proven to be spot on. While on that mental health merry go round, I learned that not every therapist has the capability to convey a genuine sense of commitment and concern for their client/patient , however Jess did. Taking on someone else's emotional pain, trauma, anxieties and fears has to be one of the hardest jobs I could imagine, especially when it comes to children...so I can understand having and internal shut off valve and not fault anyone needing to enact that protective mechanism. But as a parent who's child hurts....I sure as shit want someone who sees my kid, as I see them. Once again I saw Jess early in her career. Not only do I magine that she has gotten better with time but I imagine now that she has her own practice, she chooses people who values their clients as much as she does. ...I did recently refer someone here and they had positive reviews about Jess, Teena and the facility.

The situation was so traumatic for him that he doesn't even want to speak about it with his family or therapists. His mom and family were also traumatized as she could hear him begging for his mom when she ran in the door. This child is verbal and not aggressive as he tends to isolate himself when he is upset. The providers here handled a child's crisis in the worst way possible. Children deserve better- especially children who need help and care and expect to get it at a center made to help them.

We have been here about 11 months, and the changes in our kid's behavior have changed so drastically for the better! It is important to note that many of the therapist here have been around for a while. The turnover is quite low- therapist usually only leaving because their studies are complete and are moving back home or to a bigger city for employment. The receptionist is very lovely and a very welcoming face for CARD. When schedule changes are needed on our end, the office manger almost always helps us find a solution. Keeping the line of communication open here is VERY helpful. Couldn't be happier with the progress the kiddo has made. Have also made some (hopefully life long) adult friends here.

I have been a beneficiary of HOPE Group's services for many years. I have received habilitation…read moreservices since I was in high school. I learned how to cook, budget my money and clean. I can say HOPE Group is truly amazing right now. I am currently receiving habilitation and vocational rehabilitation services through HOPE Group. I am on the path to achieving more independence through these services. At work, I work with my HOPE coach to understand how to do my job well. We have frequent conversations on the phone about how to handle certain situations at work or even to just share joyful updates. I wouldn't be where I am today at work without the support of my HOPE Coach and I will apply the systems she taught me as I continue to do my job independently. In my personal life, my habilitation provider Ali and I work on goals like cooking and walking across the street. We also talk about life and work. She even met my parents a few weeks ago. But she was really paying attention when she was doing the assessment MULTIPLE TIMES She was flossing to the camera me and my husband saw . She also ended with are you ready to hear your results ? Like if it was a joke . You probably hear or said this things where parents don't have the knowledge to get it done or know what I can do to help my child more. I contacted the help support line and questioned my opinion when I asked if I can get a second opinion. They went off to say I have to wait a year or talk to the insurance. So they don't do second revise wasted my year evaluation waited for months and so I really hope this company takes care of their next clients this was a bad experience.

The paperwork that I submit for him is irrefutable and have opened doors for him to get the support he needs. The location is very nice and, of course, kid-friendly. My copay was over $700, however, I still say it was the best $700 I ever spent. I had one weird moment when I was leaving the office and an employee jumped in front of me and blurted out that my insurance hasn't paid yet. It was very odd, embarrassing, and uncomfortable. Still worth the money. My lower score is because their follow through and support after the diagnosis is awful. After your diagnosis if they're over the age of 5, they send you out the door and you have to figure the rest out on your own. I called them twice after his diagnosis and both times they refused to help me. They were nice about it, but they wouldn't help. My insurance required validation from the psychologist and they refused to call them. So now my son can't get ABA therapy that they said he needs. Its very frustrating.

I can't believe I JUST now discovered this hidden gem right in my back yard! Shelley is one of the…read morebest & most experienced(17 years) massage therapist I've treated with. I went in for my first massage with yesterday, desperate for muscle pain and stress relief. I was blown away by her knowledge and approach to treating. She spent 30 minutes prior discussing different techniques to address my areas of concern including "cupping" which I'd never experienced. My treatment was outstanding, I felt relaxed and relief afterwards.The cupping has already alleviated a significant amount of severe pain that I was experiencing in my foot. I've gone the Massage Envy/ Hand & Stone chain route before. The turnover is was so frequent that I could never find someone I liked and I always felt like I was being up sold, which I hate. Shelly is my new go to for massage therapy. Her intimate and private studio is tucked away in a building behind Mountainside gym on Carefree Hwy.
