One of my favorite resale spots in Henderson…read more Within a 5-mile radius there is Castaways, Goodwill, Savers, and a Salvation Army store, so there are MANY options to shop second hand and this is in my top 2. Sometimes the sections are a little sparse, and I have a theory that people tend to donate to Goodwill or Savers over this store. I think people may not know this hidden gem exists, as it is in a shopping center rather than a stand-alone store with big name recognition. The prices are phenomenal, especially the books. I can load up on a ton of books for our Little Free Library and not spend too much. I recently visited and I'm not a fan of how the clothing has been re-arranged. They used to have men's, women's, and children's and now the kids clothing is divvied up into the men's and women's section. If you're a thrifter looking for a good deal, give this store a chance.

Be Prepared -- It's Not Your Average Thrift Store…read more I went to the Goodwill Clearance Center hoping to do some thrifting, and let me just say -- be prepared. Bring gloves. You'll be digging through a lot of stuff that isn't exactly clean. This place is basically where all the unsorted items go. They dump everything into large bins, and shoppers line up waiting for new bins to be rolled out. When that happens, it's pure chaos -- people rush in like it's Black Friday. One woman even started pushing me, and I had to push back multiple times. Some people can be really rude and aggressive. If you enjoy hunting for treasures in the middle of total disorder, this might be your thing. But if you prefer a structured, organized thrift store, you'll probably find this overwhelming. You pay by weight, not by item -- everything gets weighed at the end, and I think it's around 50¢ per pound. Some people walk out with a lot of stuff for cheap, but just know it's a true dig-and-sort experience, not a regular Goodwill setup.

I spent around an hour looking around and found some awesome stuff. I didn't spend much time on the clothes as it was very busy and congested with people so I opted to shop around the perimeter for more home decor items. I'll definitely be back to check out the store more thoroughly. However I found a great picture frame... I'll be putting my own artwork in it but it was in great condition and large scale. I love the vintage vibe in the Arts District in LV. Glam Factory is packed with all kinds of goodies. Stephanie, the owner was nice enough to show me the armadillo purse. She can tell I was down for the creepy vibes. There was racks of all kinds of vintage finds. It was challenging with my baby angel on my back but I managed to find the most beautiful, floral, eighties blouse with sheer sleeves! It was giving Robert Smith vibes. A must in my book. It was a great deal too. The shop is located close to all the other shops and you can really make a nice afternoon just shopping. I would definitely keep an eye out for one of a kind pieces for a fair price.
