Wells Photography has some of the worst customer service I have ever dealt with, and it starts right at the top with the owner himself. When I called to ask a very simple question, are your photographers supposed to direct elementary students on how to pose their arms and hands, he dodged answering me multiple times. When he finally did, he admitted "yes, she should have", but brushed it off with "if she didn't, that's on her." My daughter came home saying she put her arms behind her back to pose. I don't wht bit she did. I asked was she asked to place them in her lap? She said "no, she took 3 pictures and said, say candy on the last one".
In the last two years, the so-called five proofs we have gotten by email have been exactly the same shot repeated, with no variety. When I mwntioned Bloom had slight variances and you could tell the difference he immediately got defensive rude and defensive.
The way the owner handled the conversation was incredibly prideful and dismissive. I was simply being candid about my experiences, not attacking his business, but he kept twisting it into me not liking their photography at all, which was never said. I only pointed out that kids should be given some direction, especially in a school photo setting, the same way professional photographers guide even adults on how to sit, tilt their head, or place their arms so they do not look uncomfortable. Instead of listening, he told me to basicallt fo complain to the front office to go back to Bloom, rather than address the issue. His defensiveness and refusal to take constructive feedback make it clear that this company does not care about customer experience, and parents deserve much better for expensive packages with the same photo 5 times. read more
