Problem... the capcha app that they use apparently doesn't work and can't decipher your clicks on pictures with boats, or cars, or airplanes, ad nauseum. Sometimes it takes upwards of 15 or 20 minutes to eventually login to online banking. I am frustrated. Why don't they use a one time code sent to your phone like other banks? I think they must think this makes them look cool. The only thing it makes me do is look for another bank. I've got better things to do. We never got confirmation from the banker that this promo was applied, even after multiple emails and calls. They never answer their phone, and when I call the 1800 number, they state I must contact the branch. I have been banking with Chase for 20 years and this is not what I expected from them. It didn't take very long for me to recognize that this bank is one that I wanted to move some money to for our non-profit organization. This bank's culture demonstrates that they have a deep heart for the community and do a lot in service with and for local charity organizations. I'm super excited that they are going to support our fundraising event in October by having several of their employees as a volunteer team to handle on site check in and out, the auction, and more. While that is a tremendous benefit to an organization like mine, I must say it was really awesome to connect with a banker who is so personable and caring, as is his entire team. My nonprofit is feeling quite secure in this decision of moving some of our money over to this bank. They are going to be merged into a larger credit union by the 4th quarter of 2024. I can't imagine how unsettling it is for the employees to not know what's going to happen to them and their jobs, as well as the good work they do in the community currently. I am hopeful that the credit union that comes in and take this over treats the current employees well, keeps them on, and maintains the focus on both solid banking practices and a commitment to making the Edmonds community a stronger place to live by supporting the organizations that are there for those in need.

They said that there was a seven dollar check cashing fee since I did not have an account there. They also need to obtain information from me about my employment to cash it and I refused and left. The employee who assisted her, Elvis, was dismissive, condescending, and openly rude from the start. Instead of explaining the process or offering help, he brushed her off, talked down to her, and created an intimidating environment that felt more like bullying than customer service. There was no patience, no professionalism, and absolutely no effort to assist a customer with a legitimate banking request. This is not how a major bank should treat people--especially when they're dealing with something as serious as a wire transfer. If this is the standard Wells Fargo allows from its employees, it speaks volumes about the culture at this branch.
