Misleading marketing, zero customer goodwill…read more I opened a Seen Mastercard based on promotional materials that weren't clear about a $59 annual fee. When I saw the charge on my first statement and contacted support, they pointed me to the fine print in the cardmember agreement and refused any refund. I escalated to the CFPB, the Federal Reserve, and California's DFPI over the next year. Every agency either closed the case or passed it to another. Seen's position throughout was essentially: the fee is in the agreement, end of story. No goodwill. No acknowledgment that their marketing caused genuine confusion. No courtesy refund after a year of complaints from a customer who barely used the card. If you're considering this card, read every document very carefully before applying. Their customer service will not help you if something goes wrong.

It didn't take very long for me to recognize that this bank is one that I wanted to move some money to for our non-profit organization. This bank's culture demonstrates that they have a deep heart for the community and do a lot in service with and for local charity organizations. I'm super excited that they are going to support our fundraising event in October by having several of their employees as a volunteer team to handle on site check in and out, the auction, and more. While that is a tremendous benefit to an organization like mine, I must say it was really awesome to connect with a banker who is so personable and caring, as is his entire team. My nonprofit is feeling quite secure in this decision of moving some of our money over to this bank. They are going to be merged into a larger credit union by the 4th quarter of 2024. I can't imagine how unsettling it is for the employees to not know what's going to happen to them and their jobs, as well as the good work they do in the community currently. I am hopeful that the credit union that comes in and take this over treats the current employees well, keeps them on, and maintains the focus on both solid banking practices and a commitment to making the Edmonds community a stronger place to live by supporting the organizations that are there for those in need.

The employee who assisted her, Elvis, was dismissive, condescending, and openly rude from the start. Instead of explaining the process or offering help, he brushed her off, talked down to her, and created an intimidating environment that felt more like bullying than customer service. There was no patience, no professionalism, and absolutely no effort to assist a customer with a legitimate banking request. This is not how a major bank should treat people--especially when they're dealing with something as serious as a wire transfer. If this is the standard Wells Fargo allows from its employees, it speaks volumes about the culture at this branch. I strongly recommend management review this employee's conduct and provide proper customer service training. No one should be treated this way for asking for help at their own bank. This behavior is completely unacceptable, and i hope he gets the correct disciplinary action and retraining. he was making jokes to his coworker about my sister.

He told me that I had to go home and get an additional document that customer service had told me previously wasn't required. I told him I would be back in 2 minutes and asked that I be helped right when I returned and not wait again. He couldn't promise me that and said I'd have to wait and see. I went home, got the document, and returned in under 5 minutes. Another customer came in to pay off his car loan and two of the bankers helped him right away. I saw another manager go in and out of his office. He wasn't with any customers. He nodded towards me a couple times. I asked him to help me, and he ignored me. After another 15 minutes passing, I walked up to Jennifer who was working as a teller and told her I was still there and where was a manager. She got annoyed with me and said that even though she's a manager, she couldn't help with anything because she was a teller that day. They only had her and a young man working as tellers for inside and the drive thru on a Friday and the lines were long and slow because they kept telling their life stories to every customer. I told her that others had been helped before me and I wanted to be helped now. One of the bankers got up from her desk, came over and introduced herself as Michelle and said she would help me in a few minutes. She came back in a few minutes as she said and we did the simple update on my account in two minutes. I needed to do a deposit, which I couldn't do until the update was done. With just two men in line in front of me, Jennifer decided to close her till and start cashing out. The young man working as a teller took a full 6 minutes talking to a customer about her dog and house instead of being efficient. I lost my patience finally and told him to hurry up. The men in line in front of me agreed and said thank you for saying something. The teller still took his time, so I left. I won't be back at this branch and have filed a formal complaint with Wells Fargo against the management.
