For this visit it could not have been any smoother. I was awake all night in pain from an infected splinter and went online early and reserved one of the 8:00 am opening slots. The wait was minimal. Once in the exam room with both the Nurse and the PA, I could tell I was in very capable hands. I was done by 8:30 and my meds were ready as soon as the pharmacy opened at 9:00. The 6 pages of notes documenting the visit and the after care are detailed and much appreciated. I read all 6 pages. read more

Update to my original review. Reached out to billing and was lied to by the billing department that they don't charge me which they did and that it was my insurance who had to update the eob in order to refund me. They are coming insurance fraud and are scrambling. Check any bill you get from them I have been charged every time I have gone there and then called asking why if I paid my copay would I be charged again and 9 out of 10 times it is some lie. Oh we didn't see you had insurance you can disregard, oh we weren't parring with Excellus then (they were). This company is dirty and you should not trust their billing practices. read more

Yesterday at 7:10 PM, I sought medical attention at the WellNow Urgent Care in Camillus for my son, who had injured his arm during a school soccer game. We were refused service because we didn't have an online appointment, and we were told the facility was "very busy"--even though there wasn't a single other patient there, and the parking lot was completely empty. My son was suspected of having a fracture, yet the young woman at the front desk suggested we come back the next morning or try another urgent care center--specifically, Drakos, located nearby--explaining that their facility could not accept any more walk-ins for the day. I asked her to let my son be seen, as waiting until morning wasn't an option given his situation, and there was still enough time for an examination before the clinic closed at 8:00 PM. However, the young woman remained unmoved and simply continued eating chips from a bag. I would not recommend this urgent care location in Camillus to anyone, as you might be turned away for no apparent reason. read more

I went there at my surprise to do a drug test for a job and then later I found out they didn't give me all of my identification back So when I asked if it was there, they said no And now I have to get my ID replaced read more

I went there today for a strep test and did not get seen for three hours. They had an emergency patient, that is understandable, but there were multiple nurses. I did not get seen for three hours! I ended up leaving without having seem the doctor. Terrible service in terms of timelines, you are better off going to the ER. (which you'll probably have to wait there too). read more

Was TERRIBLE, waited 45 minutes just to get into a room, then when I was in the room, they took 1 hour to actually check on me, yes I was waiting in that room for an actual hour, then they barely checked up on me, I'd go to an actual doctor if I were you, but you Gotta do what you gotta do. read more

This is for the Camillus WellNow at 3800 W. Genesee. FIVE STARS: Here's why. I visited Saturday 2/28/2026 between 12 and 1 pm. Only two in line with nobody seated in the waiting area. Upon registration, both from the line were immediately taken back to an exam room. Reception was smooth and efficient for me and my questions fully answered, then I was taken back. After a short wait, a nurse visited and took my medical history and medications. Then, after a bit longer wait, the Physician's Assistant visited, assessed me and my medical problem. My goal was an antibiotic to treat a recurring infection so I knew what was needed and had my pharmacy history. A test and x-ray was suggested but I declined as I already had one and could get the other from my physician during my next scheduled visit within a few days. The prescription was electronically sent to my pharmacy and I was discharged less than an hour after arrival. The staff was efficient, friendly and competent. A FIVE STAR EXPERIENCE. Nice job. read more

WellNow in Syracuse,NY located at 1600 Erie Blvd is by far the worse experience that I have ever had at an urgent care. First off when I arrived to get a drug screening for my new job, the receptionist was on her phone watching something and never even acknowledged me or the other three people in line for almost 5 minutes. Then when I finally got her attention she seemed annoyed and wouldn't tell me her name. When I was finally registered in the system I was told that I was next in line and I waited over an hour to get a urine test. As if that was not bad enough the urine sample was not sent to the lab until four days later and the lab was not able to use the specimen, so this delayed my start date for this job. I had to go back a second time for the same drug test and now it's four days later and the lab still has not received that sample. This location is ghetto and unprofessional, they need to be closed down!!!!! read more

On Thanksgiving morning, I went to the Camillus WellCare as a result of my messages and pleas for help to my regular doctors going unanswered for several days. I was seen quickly by a PA who was friendly, efficient, and seemed to truly like what she was doing. In fact, everyone ( with the exception of the front desk...and who can blame them, working on Thanksgiving?) was extraordinarily helpful and friendly. Ms. Coyne diagnosed and treated my pneumonia on top of asthma, and I felt much better even this morning. While I could wish for better responsiveness from my regular doctors, I would not hesitate to return to this Wellnow office if necessary. read more

1. Website says they take my insurance, they don't. I paid out of pocket $165.00 for them to tell me my privates were swollen. I was given a quick antibiotic. I ended up septic in the emergency room 12 hours later because it was actually a form of gangrene. I almost died because the doctor if you can call him that never looked at my medications or knew anything about side effects. It should have been recognized as a true emergency right away. Nobody's balls should be swollen to that size and it isn't an emergency. I will never recommend this service except for covid testing. read more

I have been doing the asbestos physical exam for my job for 3 years in Wellnow this clinic on Erick Boulevard and in my opinion the prices are more expensive every year, the figure they have when you pay online is not true, you have to be prepared to pay a few dollars more, I paid online $165 and at the clinic they asked me for about $75 more. In the year 2022 I paid $105 exam total. In 2023, my colleagues and I had to do and pay for lung plates, when these exams must be done every 5 years and mandatory by the work company, not by the Clinic. Now its current price in my City of Syracuse is $241 and 1 hour and a half away in the City of Rochester the price is $80 for the same asbestos physical exam Regardless, they require that you make other types of tests mandatory, such as lung plaques, otherwise they will not give you the medical certificate of the examination with final resultand since they are private, they have the right to do what they want. The care provided by the professional nursing staff was excellent, but the welcome and attention at the reception was terrible, the worst of the mistreatment. I am very disappointed and it is my last year with this type of Clinic Wellnow Erick Blvd read more

Staff is great! At times can be busy, so I'd advise to make an appointment if you can. My non appointment time was reasonable. The only negative is the chairs in one of the waiting rooms is horrible. I'm not sure who thought this type of chair would work well in a doctors office Definitely needs to go. read more

WellNow Urgent Care - I wouldn't wish this chair on my worst enemy Definitely needs to be replaced. - Urgent Care Near Me - Syracuse, New York

I went in here and had a decent time.the nurses were real nice to me and I was in and out in about an hour. That's really fast compared to what I'm used to. They also had beverages in the lobby which was comforting read more

Every time I have needed to visit this location the staff and providers are always extremely friendly, helpful and caring. I have tried other locations to only be turned away. The Camillus locations is 10/10 for the local WellNows!! read more

Skip the trip to the Camillus location and visit the Fairmount Wellnow down the street or another urgent care entirely, especially if visiting for a COVID test. First visit to a WellNow - I went in at 11:30AM, they told me there was a wait (although no one was in the lobby or waiting in the parking lot) and to write my name and number down on a sticky note and they'd call me in an about an hour to come back. Waited three hours (because I assumed they were just super busy due to COVID) - but no call. So I come back in and they have a line of roughly 15 people in the lobby. I wait for an additional 30+ mins, get to the desk and they said that taking my number down did NOT guarantee I'd be seen (though I was under the impression that was why I gave my name and number), even though they were seeing current walk ins. My name was never even added to a list to be seen and if I wanted to be seen they could currently add my name to a list but it'd be another few hours as I'd be added to the end of the list. Extremely inconsiderate of peoples time, especially during the critical times of a severe uptick in COVID. read more

This place is amazing! There was a 5 hour wait at my local emergency room, so I headed to Wellnow. They got me in immediately and I was seen so quickly. The PA Lydia was so sweet and comforting and I was tested for different sicknesses within probably 10 minutes or so. I cannot say enough good things about this place, wonderful service!!! read more

Had an appointment. Waited in an appointment room for almost 2.5 hours to be seen for approximately 5 minutes. Listened to my lungs, heard wheezing, was given nothing to help. Only advice was to keep doing what I am doing and if I don't get better go to the ER. read more

I want to acknowledge & applaud Wellnow Urgent Care Camillus NY Michelle Ederer, PA for her intelligence, kindness & knowledge. I came into the Urgent Care sicker than a dog. Had been on the phone w/ my primary doctor's office not getting too much resolve for my serious & annoying health issue. Ms Ederer was cheery, thorough and compassionate when I felt so horrible. She was able to diagnosis the problem, prescribed a medication and instructed me on what to do if X Y & Z didn't work. I am a cancer patient with immune compromising issues, instead of being on the defensive I was at ease & comfortable with the decisions she made & the care she gave me. read more
