They designed and developed a content management system (CMS) for us using Umbraco, a CMS on the dot.net platform. When we first engaged HyperArts, there was only a single Department of Surgery website, a collage of disconnected individual pages. Our goal was to replace this with a vibrant web presence, user-friendly interface, professional look and feel, with well-organized and compelling content. We feel we have developed an organic system for expanding content over the web, one that is easily customizable, upgradeable, highly extensible, and scalable. We have built over 50 websites, starting with our flagship site http://surgery.ucsf.edu/ . A number of our large departments at UCSF have also expressed interest to me in using HyperArts, based on what they did our department. HyperArts has developed numerous applications for our sites, many mission-critical, including: 1. Request an Appointment - http://top.ucsf.edu/patient-center/request-an-appointment.aspx that has generated over 2,000 appointments in a 1 1/2 years. 2. A database to track all aspects of the appointments including service levels and doctor referrals. 3. A rich faculty biography - http://transplant.surgery.ucsf.edu/faculty/transplant-surgeons/peter-g-stock,-md,-phd.aspx 4. A system for presenting Conditions & Procedures our surgeons. http://transplant.surgery.ucsf.edu/conditions--procedures/hepatocellular-carcinoma-(liver-cancer).aspx 5. A centralized news feed that spans all of our sites: http://transplant.surgery.ucsf.edu/news--events.aspx In short, HyperArts has done an outstanding job in fulfilling our online development needs and giving us a great web presence.

We are very pleased with their work product at a reasonable rate.

Erik said he would try to fix it, then went dark on me for more than a month with no follow up, explanation for not getting back to me, or update on timing for the repairs. Desperate, I tried to have another web designer get the site up and running, but they said there were too many internal errors to fix the site so I was forced to start from scratch. I tried to get my money refunded. They refused and said it wasn't their fault. Well, Erik was the only one who worked on the site. I will be suing him to get my money back as others have done. Kristin set up a phone appointment with me right away and gave me very helpful input over the phone. We have a very small business and she suggested that we consider the DIY Website Weekend. I couldn't be happier that I decided to do just that. For a fraction of what we would have paid a designer we got a website that wildly exceeded every expectation and hope I had. Not only that, I am now fully educated and empowered to continue to maintain all aspects of my own website without needing to rely on a third party. Kristin and the teaching assistants did an amazing job with running this class. I came in very prepared with my content, thanks to Kristin's great advice and prep worksheets. And over the course of one weekend my website was nearly ready to launch. Within 48 hours of leaving the class on Sunday, after I made some more tweaks and edits from home, my website was live. And we immediately saw an uptick in contacts! The team leading this class had expertise in all aspects of the website- from coding to appearance. They had helpful suggestions and my site looks more polished and is easier to navigate than when we paid a professional 5 times as much (and spent 6 months going back and forth before launch) in 2014. And everyone at Mighty Minnow was a delight to meet and work with. Plus their offices are lovely and inviting. I would recommend this course to ANYONE in need of a website for personal, small business or non-profit reasons. Could not be happier with the results!!!

I get complimented all the time on my visual presentation, but more than just that the very act of going through Artsy Geek's brand and self exploration process was integral to my developing a strong business brand that's separate from but true to my personal self. I'm a realtor and I actually loathe self-marketing, so I wanted to work with Jen, Michael, and Becca to find a way to create a distinct professional brand that communicates who I am and what I offer without losing my entire life to what really should be a job with boundaries. Artsy Geek absolutely nailed it; they distilled everything I am and want to be professionally into a handful of core assets, and it legitimately changed how I approach my business. Worth every hour and dollar, they're so good at really hearing you and translating what you say into "product," and they're funny and smart and caring and generally great people to boot. Thank you so much for everything, I'll be back if and when I'm ready for new collateral or if I ever go in a new direction brand-wise!

I got by for a while making some simple stuff on my own, or hiring online gigs but nothing ever really looked polished and professional, and there was a noticeable lack of continuity. Since I started working with Artsy Geek, who really took the time to understand my brand, voice, customer, and vision, my whole brand identity has come to life! I've had eye-catching sidewalk and building signs made, luxe door hangers and postcards, clean and crisp print collateral, and outstanding social media graphics that all elevate my studio brand and reflect what my business represents. There's something that goes deeper for me than just having good-looking branding. Every time I see the work that Artsy Geek has done for me, it fills me with a sense of pride in my business and hope for its growth. Having that attitude helps me stay in the mindset I need to be in as a small business owner.

I purchased a logo and website creation premium package and I found their staff was pressuring me pay unwarranted fees for the trademarking process of the Logo. I caught them feloniously doctoring a US Federal document from the USPTO to try to collect BS fees they wanted to pocket. $2,500 worth of fake fees that the United States Patent and Trademark Officed confirmed were not from them & warned this was a SCAM. I am out $4,000 for a logo and that is all. Nobody has reached out to me in weeks to discuss reimbursement for not delivering on their offerings, and this business and its people are complete SCAM ARTISTS. A bunch of Indian guys passing off names like Nathan Lynch and Sam Garcia should've been enough to stop my dealings with them, but they were smooth talkers and got me.

They insist on getting a credit card to "secure the job", saying they won't release the funds until you approve of the design their flunkie sends you. We fell for this - hook, line and sinker. We put down a deposit and chose a designer to create a logo for us. All we got was public domain clip-art. We never approved anything, and when we tried to cancel the whole thing we were told that we cannot cancel - that it was up to the designer to do that. We are basically being told that we HAVE to accept their crappy work. This is what we were told: "You have until Monday, February 22, 2021 to request additional changes otherwise the project will complete automatically and any secured payments will be released to the designer." We NEVER approved any designs. This is an elaborate scam. Fortunately we saw that early on and filed a dispute with our credit card company. Trying to deal with the staff at 99designs.com is a waste of time. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT under any circumstances hire this company. It is a complete scam. Another thing - when we go to their site, our PC-Matic throws a huge error alerting us to malware or something else nefarious on their site.
