The quaint Inn is owned by a genuine professional Austrian chef who brings such joy and flavor to these generous dishes! The mushroom soup had so much Unami and flavor, you literally had to close your eyes and enjoy it! Amazing melt in your mouth potatoes and gravy, sausages with Bavarian mustard and light and lovely sweet and sour krouts, tender herbed cheesy spatzel, and crispy chicken Schnitzel! The dinner rolls pillowy perfect with whipped butter and we finished with a trifecta dessert plate of cream brûlée, apple strudel and chocolate moose. We were so happy stuffed and still brought two meals of left overs home. Great prices and friendly staff, we can't wait to come back for pork knuckle, roasts, soufflés, and brunch!

There were 6 of us, all raved at the meals- breakfast, Brunch and Dinner. ONLY 5 Rooms at the Inn, book ahead! What keeps us going back is the exceptional service, the patio, the comfortable rooms, well trained staff - so friendly and helpful. And so close to Canada, lots to do. We took a 2 hour boat tour of the lake- that goes into Canada, the Millers Pub - Great views of the Lake, hiked a 3 mile path by the lake, helped burn off dinner- yes and relaxed. On occasion a Soufflé may be available- DO NOT PASS ON THIS Amazing desert!!! Derby Line Village Inn.

Immediately upon entering you get the feel of an old French farm estate meticulously restored to its original character. There are plenty of rooms in which to sit and read, unlike most other B&Bs. Plus, the onsite sauna and heated swimming pool lend a resort feel in a quaint, unique way. Plus, the room accommodations include all the little details and amenities that so many other places overlook (e.g. laundry bag, iron, hair dryer, makeup remover). Finally, their breakfast was truly award-winning. We will definitely use this location as our home base when visiting relatives near the border in Vermont in the future!

Exquisite 200 year old home with loving touches. We were helped with luggage to our room and found out we had the inn to ourselves on our midweek stay. Warmed up our room with our gas fireplace. Didn't use the outdoor hot tub and indoor sauna....wish we had more time! Unique bathroom was split between what was probably two closets. Relaxed in a beautiful alcove outside our room overlooking the lit snow adorned garden then took our wine down to the common area with goodies that were provided in our room. There is a fireplace in the common area and relaxing there Laura added to our bites with some olives...and a visit from her adorable dog. Breakfast was served in a French door adorned room with a lit fireplace. A yogurt compote was followed with an artfully arranged smorgasbord of breakfast choices that lacked nothing including croissants and chocolate chip cookies! Laura sent us on our way with boxed leftovers as beautiful as the original presentation. So hope we get to return to this storybook inn next time we cross the boarder. Maybe in summer to use the pool! Beautiful start to our vacation.

They have never said no. They have never given me the impression that my business was not extremely important to them. Every single time I have contacted them with a problem they have always bent over backwards to find the correct answer. Their technicians have been brilliant at finding and fixing the very few problem I have had and coming up with creative answers to unusual problems that I have presented to them. THEY HAVE NEVER SAID NO WE CAN NOT HELP YOU. Champlain is the second KUBOTA dealership I have used. The first one in NH claims to be the largest KUBOTA dealership east of the Mississippi (if you know who that is, MB Tractor) and they can't hold a candle to how Champlain has taken care of me. For me Champlain has always done business the way it should be done and the way it used to be done. With the Clients, yes client not customer best interest at heart which is always evident once you walk through the doors. Wayne A. Derby Bethlehem NH
