Immediately upon entering you get the feel of an old French farm estate meticulously restored to its original character. There are plenty of rooms in which to sit and read, unlike most other B&Bs. Plus, the onsite sauna and heated swimming pool lend a resort feel in a quaint, unique way. Plus, the room accommodations include all the little details and amenities that so many other places overlook (e.g. laundry bag, iron, hair dryer, makeup remover). Finally, their breakfast was truly award-winning. We will definitely use this location as our home base when visiting relatives near the border in Vermont in the future!

Lovely overnight stop on our way to Quebec City. Exquisite 200 year old home with loving touches. We were helped with luggage to our room and found out we had the inn to ourselves on our midweek stay. Warmed up our room with our gas fireplace. Didn't use the outdoor hot tub and indoor sauna....wish we had more time! Unique bathroom was split between what was probably two closets. Relaxed in a beautiful alcove outside our room overlooking the lit snow adorned garden then took our wine down to the common area with goodies that were provided in our room. There is a fireplace in the common area and relaxing there Laura added to our bites with some olives...and a visit from her adorable dog. Breakfast was served in a French door adorned room with a lit fireplace. A yogurt compote was followed with an artfully arranged smorgasbord of breakfast choices that lacked nothing including croissants and chocolate chip cookies! Laura sent us on our way with boxed leftovers as beautiful as the original presentation. So hope we get to return to this storybook inn next time we cross the boarder. Maybe in summer to use the pool! Beautiful start to our vacation.
