went there last year with my family and we were the only one on the guided tour. i don't remember the girl's name, but she was very sweet! she spoke english but still managed to do the tour in french for my parents. this house is so beautiful! if you like the edwarian/victorian époque you will like this. the curtis family lived there and it has been very well maintained through the years. you will get to see the salons, bureau, salle à manger (with the veranda, where they make tea partys to this day, so cool!), kitchen. Then to the second floor they have bedrooms, one room explaning the custom of marriages - births & and another one for the customs of deaths. which was very interesting! they also have a child bedroom full of antique toys, which was a little bit creepy haha. then you go back downstairs (there are more floors but they are not open to the public) to the little shop. and then outside to another building where they had a little exposition about the rural life, and then to a (kinda) barn where they have some agricultural machinery and rural life things and on the second floor there is a lot of old things from the town it self. so basically, from the outside it's juste a huge house, but from the inside it's a treasure! go! you need to see this! read more
