We chose to pick our own. When you arrive, someone will give you how ever many empty baskets you want, and then explain how it works. It's pretty simple, you fill your baskets with strawberries while eating as many from the field as you want and then you pay when you leave. Each basket can contain up to 4 liters of strawberries and costs $9. Depending on the season, you can also pick raspberries, tomatoes, zucchinis or many others things. Québec strawberries are smaller, more red, and extremely sweet, so I really love to picking them myself every year when I can. It's a great getaway from the city and it's enlightening to get your fresh fruits and veggies directly at the farm. If you're going during lunch time, don't forget to pack a picnic. They have a few picnic tables for people to use so you can spend some time there after or before picking your fruits, enjoying a nice picnic outside, and then going to get your dessert directly from the field. :) They are open 7 days a week so you can go anytime you want. Monday to Friday from 7AM to 7PM and Saturday and Sunday from 7AM to 6PM.

I think it's worth an experience for younger generations for sure. Speaking of that, they also had an area in the chicken coop with toys to play with and books to read for young children. Growing up on a chicken farm helped me learn a lot about work ethic and how much we need farmers in our country the further we get into the future and have many rights of self-sustaining capabilities taken away from us through the government and big business push.
