I've practiced yoga here, was treated with corrective movement therapy, gotten a heavenly massage, acupuncture, and a plant based facial. Well Sonoma is very Sonoma County and well-being focused. The yoga: the teachers here are so knowledgeable. They teach with your body's longevity in mind first. It's not about moving into the perfect posture here, it's about moving in a way that is beneficial for your unique anatomy. The cues are easy to follow and the practice is challenging and focused. The Vinyasa classes here are such a workout, and they all teach based on anatomical benefits. You learn a lot in these classes. The Hatha classes are more challenging than you might think. The long holds with proper form can get you a workout too. Free rentals on mats and props! Acupuncture with Lorelle: OMG she's the nicest person you'll ever meet in your life. Acupuncture here is lifestyle driven, and it honestly works miracles. Lorelle is also a Traditional Chinese Medicine specialist. She's helped me overcome eating habits, anxieties, stress, and insomnia. I love seeing her! Corrective Functional Movement Therapy with Shane: He helped me increase my range of motion in so many limbs in just one session. It was incredible! I also learned a lot about some of the lifestyle modifications I have to make to maintain a healthy range of motion and prevent long term pain. He helped me recover from a hamstring injury and shoulder injuries fairly quickly. Facial with Katrina: You won't be disappointed! Katrina is an artisan that crafts her own special blends of magical oils, masks, and more. The entire experience was like walking through and herbal and floral garden. My skin got the organic treatment made with seasonal ingredients. She also has really gentle hands that massage like an angel. She takes her time with you and really knows her stuff! I learned a lot about how to take care of my skin from my session with her. read more

My favorite yoga studio in Santa Rosa. I am NOT a yoga person and I love coming into this calm, loving environment to get my stretch on. The instructors are kind, helpful, and not at all overbearing if you are a newbie or experienced yogi. read more

Our daily lives can often be stressful, fast paced and overwhelming at times. Living the busy life I do of running my own business, fulfilling my husband and 3 dogs, gym life, personal training, family needs, meal prepping, the list goes on and on.....it's hard to find time to yourself, those quiet moments we should cherish. The word "slow down" was not in my vocabulary. Is this sounding familiar?  Releasing lots of stress and endorphins at the gym wasn't enough. How does one reeeeelax? I never knew how to come down and just chill. In fact, I didn't know how to "just breathe". I turned to yoga to help find better peace within myself. Meeting Dylan through mutual friends, I soon reached out to him, explaining my chaos, daily stress, frantic worries and busy mind. That is when I first stepped foot into Yoga One. Entering Yoga One, I immediately felt a sense of greater peace. Anna warmly welcomed me as I dropped in to scope out the scene. She was very patient as she gathered my information.  Feeling nervous and not having any yoga experience, we agreed a drop in session would be best to check things out. My first class was "Restorative Yoga" with Dylan. Knowing I didn't know how to take a proper deep breath, it was best to start here. Entering the studio, I was welcomed by a warm hug from Dylan making me already feel at home. Dylan show me the proper props we would be using for that class. Blankets, mats, pillows, more blankets, blocks, straps more blankets and layers.  Restorative was already sounding right up me ally. Dylan has this clam, low quiet voice. Making me feel at ease with the sound of his voice, it was easy to slip away and take my mind and body to another place. Listening to his greater knowledge and sense of widsom, listening to the sound of compassion in his voice, following his lead with ever breath. Feeling myself begin to open up with every breath as the worries and stress began to escape my mind and body. I began to slip further and further away into a place I've never been before. A place of deep relaxation, a sense of calm in the present moment. I had taken a journey with Dylan that I will never forget. Meeting him has been an absolute blessing and he has given me a greater sense of well being. After the 75 min class was over, I put my props away, walked over to Dylan, put my hand on his shoulder and said, " Whatever happened in that room needs to happen a lot more often in my life." I will never forget that moment I was introduced to yoga. The next day at work, it was all I can think about. Eager to go back, I returned the next day and signed a 3 month commitment. This is the very beginning of this journey and can not imagine where it will go from here with daily practice! THANK YOU DYLAN! THANK YOU YOGA ONE! read more

I've been attending Yoga One in Santa Rosa for about three months now and I really love it. The place is clean, the front desk people are always super friendly and helpful but of course what really makes a great studio are the instructors. And they are all amazing (I think I've taken classes with just about all of them). I like the schedule and I like the variety of classes on offer. The initial deal of unlimited classes for $49 was a great way to try everything out. There are a few I haven't tried--pre and post natal of course, belly dancing and capoeira seem a bit of a stretch for me (no pun intended). I'm also impressed with the casual atmosphere. Some studios seem a bit snooty, with everyone decked out to the nines. Also, it doesn't smell like a gym (or locker room) which I've encountered before. I'm really happy with this studio and feel so much better in my body. read more

Hidden gem. I was looking for vinyasa yoga in Santa Rosa, and found Yoga One (now Well Sonoma). This was the first place I tried, and I did not need to look any further. Here you find a fantastic blend of skill levels, yoga practice and a sense of community - very welcoming. Instructor Shane Davis is one of those special yoga teachers that you don't come across very often - you definitely want to go to one of his classes. But each instructor I have experienced there has been top notch. Thank you Well Sonoma. There is something special going on here. read more

I just got a session from Cameron Free a few days ago... It was sooo GOOD! and the fact that I can still feel some of the good effects a week later... to me that's the ultimate test of a good bodywork session. Cameron's work is much more than a massage. He truly has a unique style which he calls Ceremonial Bodywork - and it was a symphony of heart connection, deep presence, sacred & healing deep tissue work, singing bowls, chanting, hot towels and bliss. I've had a lot of bodywork over the years... and this session was GOOD. Cameron has a gift. I so recommend him to anyone. read more

I bought a 10 pack of classes a while ago when they had another facility in Petaluma. I lost family members suddenly and they were kind enough to extend my expiration date. Great classes and teachers. read more

Very good studio. I went there a year prior to my pregnancy and then throughout. I did Yoga the night before I went into labor. The instructors I went to are no longer there so I can't speak specifically to the current instructors. I wish they had more prenatal yoga or one that was a little more intense. I did get some alternatives/modifications from Maggie who taught the class. I was a professional athlete. Yoga saved me from pain and pregnancy pains! read more

Do yourself a favor and give this place a try! I have been to many yoga studios but this place is special. I have never written a review on yelp until now, and I don't endorse places unless they are 'magical', so trust me when I say that if you take a chance on this studio, you will thank yourself for going here. Yoga One has been a constant source of joy, rest, peace, and pleasure for me for over a year now. Soon, I am leaving Santa Rosa and what I will miss the most, besides friends, is the genuine warmth I receive, the great workouts, the soothing yin classes and the sense of community that I get at Yoga One. It is one of Santa Rosa's gifts. It is everything a yoga studio should be. I am thankful and so grateful to the teachers and staff for all their passion, expertise and warmth! From the bottom of my heart, thank you! Yoga One has made my life better, richer and more enjoyable and I hope it does the same for you! About the studio: It offers SO much more than just yoga classes. When you step into the beautiful, vibrant and yet serene and comforting studio, you might find Tracey at the front desk. She is a gem and will make you feel right at home with a warm smile and cup of tea. She represents so much of what I love about the studio and reminds me that it is a community and a sanctuary. If you're lucky, or if you're a beginner, you might find yourself in Deacon's class. Deacon, the owner of the studio, teaches the most wonderful class for those who are; new to yoga, or the studio, or for those who like myself, sometimes want to go back to the fundamentals and build strength by returning to what is best about yoga. Deacon has a great sense of humor and his classes are fun and informative. Helen's classes are fantastic as well! You will enjoy her sequences and the way you feel after class (lots of vinyasas). I am so excited when I can go to her classes. She is passionate about yoga and healing and is attentive, skilled, and consistently wonderful. If you're looking for something equally great, I suggest the yin and meditation classes. They are incredible. I love Dylan's classes. He has a calm and easy way about him but also has a playful spirit. This comes through in his teaching. He plays the harmonium. It's incredible! What an experience! Also, Vinita's yin class is out of this world. She has a gift. They are so healing and soothing and transformative (really!) AND Lorraine's yin class and hatha classes are something you won't want to miss! I find the stress melts away and I leave feeling taller, stronger and like a better person. She's great and I always feel so good after I leave her class! If you want to be challenged (in the most fantastic way) and listen to some fun tunes while going thru a fun and creative flow with plenty of fun poses try Maria's classes. Lastly, while I raved in this review please know I haven't written any yelp reviews till now because I never felt moved to do so. My hope is that you will get to enjoy the gifts and benefits of this place as much as I have. Thank you Deacon for creating this space and for all the teaches for making it what it is! read more

So welcoming! Great place with great classes. There is a wonderful positive energy that inhabits this place. Clean, peaceful, spacious. And open to all levels of practice. Big shout out to Lorraine as an instructor! read more

I have tried many yoga studios in Sonoma County and this one is my favorite! Vinita's Sunday Yin Yoga class is AMAZING. Truly integrates mind, body, and spirit -- every week is completely different and perfect for the moment. Shane is also an excellent teacher. I've been going to his hatha flow classes for several years and I'm never disappointed. The atmosphere of the studio is very welcoming and calming, and they are generous with free loaner mats, towels, Aveda soap and lotion in the bathroom, and hot tea. Every time I go in I feel so great by the time I leave. read more

I finally found a decent yoga place in Santa Rosa. I took the deal $49 for the first month of unlimited classes. The studio is very nice and the temperature is just right! Its also not too far. They also have belly dancing! Which was fun :). Friendly staff as well! The only thing I wished that they had was a parking lot. Not very safe to walk across the place at night after class to your car, especially in downtown. Other than that, I would recommend this place for yoga! :) read more

This Yoga Studio is fabulous. Numerous choices of yoga to choose from with over 40 classes per week. Just went to a workshop about Gratitued with Essential Oils that was very enlightening. Everyone, staff and members, are friendly. Their rates and the beginner's special is affordable to most. read more

Awesome Place. Clean quite and warm. Great teachers. This place rocks.

This review is for Tonya Hoffman. I recently booked an appointment with her. In person she seemed nice, knowledgeable and genuine. But right off the bat she dismissed my skin the symptoms as being Candida/fungal. Which i had already confirmed running my own skin culture. I did the Recommended lab work and paid $1100, as i dont have insurance. Turns out she ordered the wrong autoimmune test, it did not even include what I have been diagnosed with and that is a positive RNP for MCTD. Also the urine test she ordered was not a culture. It just stated many bacteria not what they were! I booked a follow up appointment through her online calendar. I received a cancelation email, stating due to insufficient time. So I booked another and a few days later, that one was canceled as well, due to insufficient time. This time I waited a few days to hear back and never did so I called her office and left a voice mail. Waited the day and never heard back . So i called again and she answered. I said I felt that she was very unprofessional not to get in touch and tell me at least why my appointments were being canceled. If they were available on her calendar, they should be available to book, as it was only a follow up. I was in great decline with Scleroderma and desperately seeking help, to no avail. By this point I was so angry. I told her I did not think she could help me I wanted a refund. Which she did provide for the next day. Then I get a call a few days later from her receptionist, who had no idea who I was. Telling me Tonya asked her to call and schedule my follow up. I could not believe it! I told the receptionist my impression of Tonya and that I do not think she should claim to be a "Functional MD", as she has no idea how to provide help or even schedule her patients. Just a woman who wated my precious time. Who is not in the medical field to truly help anybody. That was clear to me. read more

Only got to take one capoeira class here but it was great! Good teaching and everyone was friendly.

Wow, this place is going under major transition for the good! Adding additional teachers to the schedule helps me enjoy class at almost any time of the day. I also really like how inclusive the studio is. I just got a 60 minute Deep Tissue/Sweedish Massage from Bryan Miller. He really balanced me and focused on my injuries. I left feeling more length and lighter. I really enjoyed it and still feel the benefits days later. I would recommend him. read more

This place is a very clean and quiet environment. What I love is that a diverse schedule allows me to come whenever i can. I can schedule something before work during work when I have a break or after work. They even use MINDBODY connect or some online scheduling that allows me to schedule and pay before I go. I have even done it 15 minutes before a class starts. read more

This has been a great studio to frequent. I have especially liked Dylan's restorative yoga classes which have been very calming and relaxing. Going regularly has helped me with a number of things, including always sleeping well the night of the class. A new student discount is available the first month which is worth purchasing as you can attend unlimited classes. I liked all the classed I went to and have heard good things about other classes I haven't yet attended as well. read more

This is the best studio in town! The facilities are beautiful, the teachers are world-class, and the community is fantastic. The best deal if you practice regularly is the Unlimited Class monthly package, but they also have plenty of smaller, pay-as-you-go class packages. I just can't say enough about YogaONE...I discovered Yoga here and YogaONE has truly changed my life. read more

Yoga One is a special place here in Santa Rosa. The instructors focus on alignment, breath and listening to your own body when going through the practice. They empower you to do what is best for your practice in a non judgmental space. This is a beautiful and clean studio. They have a superstar cast of teachers. The owner is so easy to communicate with, and really knows how to run a business. I love the vinyasa and Forrest classes. After submitting my previous review and beginning the refund process through groupon, I received an email asking to replace my initial negative experience at Yoga One. Since I had already started the refund process I declined, I don't want to receive anything since I am no longer paying for it, but I am very thankful and happy that they chose to email me. Groupon's ad states you need to register online for the classes, and I was informed that this isn't truly the case, so if you do decided to go here (It does look very nice!) be aware of class times, since they do lock the door (As I discovered!) when classes start. read more

Loved this place (Petaluma location) and the instructors...until I bought a 10 class pass with no expiration date. Two weeks after I bought it I received and email from Deacon informing the studio would be closing in 2 weeks and any unused class passes could be used in Santa Rosa or transferred to a friend to be used in Santa Rosa. As both options were unacceptable I emailed Deacon (as his emailed suggested I do with any questions or concerns about ones account) and requested a refund. That was 8/16; followed up with a phone call...still waiting to hear from Deacon. When I bought the pass I was not told the studio would be closing. Now that I see how I've been treated (ignored) I can say that selling me a class package knowing the studio would be closed in one month with no intention of refunding the unused portion was an underhanded & dishonest trick. Beware! Really, Deacon?? Making money the underhanded way? Fortunately, my credit card company took care of the problem. read more
