It was a great spa vibe to get dressed in our robes and relax before each of our services. Once we were all dressed in our robes, we went into a waiting room for our therapist to see us. They were there instantly when we got there which was because we didn't have to wait too long. I had my massage and it was really good. I loved the therapist that I worked with and she was great. After my massage was over, I met back up with my SIL and sister. My sister seemed kind of unhappy and when I asked why, she said that she had booked her treatment for cupping and an intense massage but that isn't what she got. She didn't want to make a big deal about it. My SIL eventually went to the front desk and after awhile got it sorted out that they had a system error in their booking. They could still offer my sister the cupping but we'd have to wait a bit to do it. It was good that she was able to do the cupping but disappointing that her relaxing had to be disrupted and we ended up being there longer than anticipated and had to move some plans around. Overall it worked itself out and we still enjoyed our visit. They did a good job of handling the hiccup.

Just to clarify, the grandkids of the original Johnson Pool folks are taking no responsibility for the damage. The grandkids took over the company in 2025 and appear to have made changes to the business model which resulted in the damage. Nobody from Johnson ever contacted me about the pool sweep or the plaster being ruined because they were charging me $200 per month and never opening the cover.

She confirmed it was a vascular occlusion, which can cause permanent damage if not treated right away. When I arrived for treatment, Julie wasn't at her salon. She texted that she'd "be right back," but I ended up waiting over an hour, along with what another client who was also waiting. Once she arrived, the appointment dragged on for another three hours -- and she still didn't properly treat the affected area. She promised to meet me after work to finish treatment but showed up 45 minutes late, and decided not to wait any longer since it was already 9pm. She texted me at 9:30 saying she was there claiming she'd lost her phone, even though she told me she was in the car going straight to me. A couple of days later, she met with me for the second attempt and again for another three-hour session, but unfortunately, the issue still wasn't resolved. I visited the spa boutique and bought a Bromelia bathing suit that is now my favorite. It's made in California with ethically sourced materials and fit perfectly. While there, I met Chelle, the spa director, who was warm, welcoming, and knowledgeable. She told me about spa openings for the next day, which led to one of the most incredible experiences of the trip. The next day, I spent the entire day at the pool. Completely alone. The floor lights in the bathroom automatically turn on when you walk in. The cozy vibe, the fountain outside, the mirrors in the shower -- every detail felt intentional and elevated. The bed was extremely comfortable. Each morning, I grabbed coffee and the barista, Collin, was so sweet and thoughtful. She even offered to fill my water bottle before I headed to the gym. And here's the funny part. I originally chose the other hotel because of the gym. But this gym ended up being exactly what I needed -- aesthetic, clean, and crisp. I got two great workouts in and felt completely supported in my routine. Overall, I could easily spend two weeks here without hesitation.
