I didn't have to be a current customer to receive help like with so many other local plumbing companies. I called in the afternoon and they were there the next day. Andrew was running a little Late but communicated that to…read moreme. I am retired so no big deal. He arrived with a nice smile and a very relaxed and friendly manner. We discussed what I wanted done today, gave me a quote and got right to work. I decided to have the immediate leak fixed but we talked about what he would like to do to update the antique plumbing attached to a very old double cellar sink and fixtures. He updated the washing machine plumbing and he said he would send me an estimate for the rest of the work which I would love to have updated. I loved what he did and what he would like to see updated. He was done quicker than I expected and I said I would let him know about the further updating of demo of sink etc. He was wonderful and he made me feel like he really cared about what I was dealing with health wise with the old plumbing. He's a great guy and I will call him when I am ready to finish the entire job but for today I love what we did and his work! I was super pleased!!!

I hired Zoom Drain to fix a simple clogged drain. They sent an inexperienced technician who…read moreinitially cleared the clog but then went back in aggressively and cracked the pipe, causing major flooding and extensive water damage to my home, including the first floor. Instead of taking responsibility, the company blamed the issue on "old pipes" and has been completely unresponsive to my repeated calls and requests to speak with a manager. To make matters worse, after causing thousands in damage, they had the audacity to send me a bill for hundreds of dollars. This business has shown a complete lack of professionalism, accountability, and customer care. I strongly urge anyone considering Zoom Drain to look elsewhere.

We had a plugged toilet that could not be cleared with a snake. A knowledgeable friend suggested…read morethat the problem might be calcium buildup in the 30 year old toilet. Our tech Alex arrived on time as promised. After trying and failing to clear it, he arrived at the same conclusion. He was able to get a new toilet, install all in 90 minutes and left within three hours from the start of the appointment. Another thing that impressed me was that he did not try to add on additional services or products. Also when I asked him about a separate issue, he admitted that he was not familiar with the problem. He did not try to bluff his way through it. He admitted what he did not know. That means we could trust his recommendations. I would definitely call them in the future.

Landlord has hired this guy to clean the furnace annually. Every year (for the last 5 years) when…read morehe visits, it is an uncomfortable experience. He will loudly complain about the amount of items stored in my basement for the duration of the time he is working, within my and my child's earshot including profanities. It is very uncomfortable having him here but it's not my property and I can't choose who my landlord hires, so I am stuck with him. This year I left with my child for a dr appt, and he took it upon himself to call my landlord and complain that my cat, who had been ill this past year, had puked on the old carpet on the basement stairs and it was stained. He also complained that some bamboo had grown next to the bulkhead (which is landlords responsibility) and he didn't like that my 3 free range chickens poop in the yard. If his delicate sensibilities were offended so, considering he is often elbow deep in a toilet, he really shouldn't be in this line of work. I am now even more uncomfortable having him in my home and would not recommend using his unprofessional service to anyone!

We were later told "whoops we forgot to mention it" and "it's their minimum fee." If there's a $300 minimum charge for a stupid simple job customers should be told upfront.
